Lou Williams
MONTICELLO - Services for Lou Taylor Williams will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. James AME Church with burial in Southview Cemetery. Williams, 81, died Tuesday, April 27, 1999. She was the daughter of the late Edmond and Ruth Taylor. The widow of David Williams, she was a member of St. James AME Church.

Survivors include his son, Terry Williams; sisters, Johnnie Turk of Monticello and Leona Simmons of New York City; and two grandchildren.

The body will be in the church at 1 p.m. Catchings Memorial Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Joseph Young Jr.
COCHRAN - Services for Joseph Vance Young Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Cochran First United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. Young, 77, died Wednesday, April 28, 1999. Born in Bleckley County, he was the son of the late Joseph Young Sr. and Ruby Young. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a former Cochran school board member, member and past worshipful master of Cochran Masonic Lodge No. 217 F&AM and member of the Scottish Rite and the AARP. He was a member of Cochran First United Methodist Church, the administrative board of trustees and James Chambers Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife, Ronda L. Young; children, Richard Young of Cochran, Kay Peppers of Elberton, Dawn Bashinski of Macon and Robin Mullins of Columbus; sisters, Elizabeth Neff of Atlanta, and Jewel Breeden and Diane Mullis, both of Cochran; and five grandchildren.

The family may be contacted at the Young residence, Route 5, Cook Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cochran First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 87, Cochran 31014, or the Masonic Children's Home, P.O. Box 4183, Macon 31208. Mathis Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

CynthiaAndrews
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Cynthia RapeAndrews will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in the Centerville Cemetery.Andrews, 84, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000. A lifelong resident of Houston County, she was the daughter of the late Silas M. and Lucia Rape.

Survivors include her husband, Joe B.Andrews; a daughter, Jo Ann Duckworth of Warner Robins; sisters, Lois Long of Warner Robins and Mozelle Lowe of Kathleen; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 143 Sunset Drive, Warner Robins 31088.

Charlie F. Arnold
VIENNA - Services for Charlie F. Arnold will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with burial in Zion Hope Cemetery. Arnold, 76, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000. Born in Crisp County, he was the son of the late Clifford Arnold and Lillian Folds Arnold. He was an Army veteran of World War II in the Pacific and was a retired farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Bowen Arnold of Vienna; children, Ginger Young of Cordele, Robin Smith and Charles Arnold, both of Warner Robins; sister, Rachel Pittman of Lancaster, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen-NeSmith Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Vienna, P.O. Box 351, Vienna 31092, or the American Heart Association-Dooly County Heart Fund, c/o Bank of Dooly, P.O. Box 365, Vienna 31092.

Fannie Coleman
Services for Fannie Mae Coleman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Macon Memorial Park. Coleman, 91, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000. Born in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Reneau and Annie Mae Clark Vanlandingham. She was the widow of James Parker Gallemore and Melvin Mulford Coleman. She was a homemaker and a member of Bass United Methodist Church. She was formerly a member of Cherokee Heights United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia G. Mueller of Macon and Karen M. Sears of Somerset, Ky.; grandchildren, Devan Mueller of Macon, Karen Clare Camp of Culloden and Sannon Swanner of Somerset, Ky.; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, and may be contacted at 968 Underwood Drive. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Bass United Methodist Church, 4062 Vineville Ave., Macon 31204.

Lucille Coxton
BRADLEY - Services for Lucille J. Coxton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. James AME Church with burial in the church cemetery. Coxton, 74, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000. Born in Jones County, she was the daughter of the late Seymour and Minnie W. Juhan. She was retired from Lynn Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of St. James AME Church

Survivors include her children, Joyce J. Russell of Atlanta and Steve Coxton of Bradley; and four grandchildren.

Samuel's Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Lottie Duggan
WARTHEN - Services for Lottie Duggan will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Duggan, 96, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000. She was a housewife. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, serving on the usher board for many years.

Survivors include her brother and sister, Alfred Duggan and Mollie Duggan, both of Sandersville; sister-in-law, Lucille Duggan of Tennille; and niece, Louise Brown of Sandersville.

M.C. Smith Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Sabrina Dumas
Services for Sabrina McDowell Dumas will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Healing Temple Ministries with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dumas, 33, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2000. She was born in and attended school in Bibb County. She was a member of Healing Temple Ministries.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Dumas Jr.; children, Angelica D. McDowell and Alicia L. McDowell, both of Macon; stepchild, Shenita Dumas of Macon; parents, Grover and Betty Glover; grandparents, Lizzie Thomas and Willie Glover, both of Macon; brothers, Darrell B. McDowell, Kevin E. McDowell and Derrick D. Norman, all of Macon; and stepbrother, Clarence Norman Jr. of Macon.

The family may be contacted at 1929 3rd Ave.. The body will be placed in the church an hour prior to services. Glover Memorial Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Myrtle Findley
WEST PALM BEACH - Services for Myrtle O'Brien Findley will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Findley Family Cemetery near Lyons. Findley, 93, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000. She was born in Treutlen County. The widow of Houston Findley, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Woodward of Weston, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Jones-Stewart Funeral Home.

Elmo Harrell
SOPERTON - Services for Elmo F. Harrell will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Westview Cemetery. Harrell, 94, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000. Born in Adrian, he was the son of the late Robert and Dolly Skinner Harrell. The widower of Thera Spivey Harrell, he had lived in Soperton for 70 years, served as mayor from 1956 to 1958, and was a retired grocery store owner and operator. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Hoyt Harrell of Soperton; sisters and brother, Elizabeth Allen of Dublin, Anabelle Smith of Macon and Percy Harrell of Adrian; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Sammons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cauley House, 105 College St., Soperton 30457.

Wilbert Hoskins
JEFFERSONVILLE - Services for Wilbert "Grey Man" Hoskins will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Higgsville Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Hoskins, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000. Born in Twiggs County, he was the son of the late Josh and Eva Hoskins. He was retired from the New York Box Factory. He was a member of Higgsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Irene Durham of Jeffersonville, Larry Collins of Macon and Jeanette Curry of Milledgeville; brother and sister, Thomas Burnett of New Jersey and Frankie Burnett of Jeffersonville; and eight grandchildren.

The family may be contacted at Route 1, Box 800, Jeffersonville. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Alvie Coes Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Clara Johnson
TWIN CITY - Services for Clara Whittington Johnson will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary with burial in Twin City Cemetery. Johnson, 87, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000. She was born in Dillon County, S.C. The widow of Durden Johnson, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Twin City Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Walter L. McKenzie of Twin City; sisters and brothers, Marie Allen and Leslie Whittington, both of Latta, S.C., Ruth McKenzie of Dillon, S.C., Sara Carter of Eden, N.C., and Billy Whittington of Marion, S.C.; and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight in the funeral home.

James Johnson
VIENNA - Services for James "Pint" Johnson will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bowen-NeSmith Funeral Home with burial in Byromville Cemetery. Johnson, 82, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000. A lifelong resident of Dooly County, he was the son of the late George W. and Kate Patrick Johnson. He was a farmer. He was a member of Drayton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian D. Johnson; children, Janie J. Stephenson, James T. Johnson and Johnny M. Johnson, all of Vienna; a brother, Jessie Ray Johnson of Byromville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Samantha Jones
DRY BRANCH - Services for Samantha Diane Jones will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Samantha, 4, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff G. and Brenda B. Jones; sisters and brothers, Carrie and Kimberly Bundrick, both of Elberton, Johnathon Jones of Dry Branch and Jack Bundrick Jr. of Danielsville; grandparents, P.A. and Johnnie Munn of Lizella, and Steve and Rachel Ledford of Danielsville; great-grandparents, Frances St. John of Macon, and Max and Jessie Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends at Ingleside Memorial Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church, 1200 Moseley Road, Lizella.
