Mr. William Brown Sr.

GRANITEVILLE -- Mr. William ``Tracy" Brown Sr., 64, of 1 Gregg St., died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Christian Heritage Congregational Holiness Church with the Revs. Dennis Phillips and Gene Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, North Augusta.

Mr. Brown, a native of Graniteville, was an Air Force retiree and a veteran of the Korean and the Vietnam wars. He was a member of Graniteville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jones Brown; one son, William T. Brown Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie Brown McCray, Atlanta, and Rebecca Brown Albright, Graniteville; his mother, Ruth Thomas Brantley, Graniteville; one brother, Tommy Brantley, Graniteville; one sister, Carol B. Marchant, Graniteville; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Bill Carpenter, William Whittle, Robert Boyd, Herbert Padgett, Robert Shiver and Joel Randall.

Memorials may be made to Hitchcock Hospice, 721 Richland Ave. W., Aiken, SC 29801; or the Christian Congregational Holiness Church, P.O. Box 237, Graniteville, SC 29829.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Napier Funeral Home.

Mr. Fred Brotzman

Sales manager

Mr. Fred E. Brotzman, 55, of 2708 Marschalk Road, died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church with the Revs. Neal Phelps, Curtis Mears and Wayne Bruner officiating.

Mr. Brotzman, a native of Canisteo, N.Y., was a sales manager of wholesale liquor with Georgia Crown Co. and a Lutheran. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as in the military police. He was a member of George Walton Masonic Lodge, Pointe South Golf Club and Richmond Hunting Club.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Brotzman; one son, Paul Weimorts, Williston, S.C.; one daughter, Cindy Sanders, Williston; his parents, Eldred and Evelyn Brotzman, Canisteo; three brothers, Lynn Brotzman, Depew, N.Y., Larry Brotzman, Gulfport, Miss., and Lee Brotzman, Gastonia, N.C.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, GA 30904.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the residence.

Mrs. Gene Barber

Nurse

Mrs. Gene Lazenby Barber, of 2426 Ponderosa Drive, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Westover Memorial Park with the Revs. Tom Payton and Dale Dean officiating.

Mrs. Barber, a native of Augusta, was a nurse and a member of St. Mary On The Hill Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Barber; two daughters, Susan Barber Lokey, Savannah, and Kathy Barber Barrett, Augusta; one sister, Anne Lazenby Stewart, Augusta; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, GA 30904; or the National Brain Tumor Foundation, San Diego.

The family will receive friends after the service at 417 Scotts Way.

Poteet Funeral Home, Greene Street, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dolores Baeumel

Allen Bradley retiree

DUBLIN, Ga. -- Mrs. Dolores Davietta Baeumel, 76, died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Kite, with the Rev. Kenneth Otto officiating. Burial will be in Kite City cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Kite.

Ms. Baeumel, a native of Johnson County, spent most of her life in Johnson and Laurens counties. She had retired from Allen Bradley and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Chuck Baeumel and Steve Baeumel, both of Dublin; a daughter, Angela Baeumel, Dublin; a brother, Kenneth Kight, Kite; two sisters, Wylena Otto, Georgetown, Ohio, and Frankie Craycraft, Jacksonville, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles Kight, Ronnie Farrow, Mike Cross, Johnny Thigpen, Pete Norris and David Hall.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Richard and Joyce Stanley Funeral Home, Wrightsville.

Mrs. M. Neva Bolen

Homemaker

WILLISTON, S.C. -- Mrs. M. Neva Bolen, 80, of Sandy Hook Road, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, at Barnwell County Hospital, Barnwell.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Long Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Malcom Carter and Floyd Dukes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Bolen, a native of Barnwell County, was a homemaker and a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Calhoun Bolen; a son, Jerry Bolen, Williston; a brother, John L. Hair, Williston; a sister, Lurline ``Nip" Martinez, Cayce; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Folk Funeral Home.

Garrett Callaway

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Garrett Keith Callaway, infant son of Larry and Kelly Cavanagh Callaway of 1206 Plaza Place, died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Sunset Memory Gardens, Langley, with the Rev. Greg Francisco officiating.

Garrett was a native of Augusta.

Additional survivors include his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Callaway, Greensboro, Ga.; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M.L. ``Jeep" Whaley, North Augusta; and his maternal great-grandmothers, Catherine Tylor and Ann Cavanagh, both of Augusta.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today at Rowland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nellie Godbee

Retired social worker

MILLEN, Ga. -- Mrs. Nellie Kate Newton Godbee, 74, of 526 Highway 23 N., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, at Jenkins County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Millen United Methodist Church with the Rev. Maurice Crowder officiating. Burial will be in Millen cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Godbee, a native of Jenkins County, had retired from the Jenkins County Department of Family and Children's Services as a case worker after 33 years of service. She was a member of Millen United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Epworth Bible Class and the Joy Circle.

Survivors include a son, Perry L. Mitchell, Millen; two daughters, Kathy G. Clifton, Millen, and Nancy G. Vanacore, Hahira; two brothers, J. Garnett Newton Sr. and E. Dewey Newton Sr., both of Millen; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lee Mitchell, Jeff Mitchell, David Clifton, Jody McMillan, Garnett McMillan, Phillip McMillan, E. Dewey Newton II and John W. Newton.

Memorials may be made to Millen United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 413 N. Gray St., Millen, GA 30442.

Friends may call until 2:15 p.m. today at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lucinda Henderson

NEW YORK -- Mrs. Lucinda Henderson, of Brooklyn, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998.

The funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday in Brooklyn.

Mrs. Henderson, a native of Columbia County, had retired as a nursing assistant.

Survivors include a son, Roosevelt Young, Brooklyn.

Mrs. Odell Knight

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mrs. Odell Day Knight, 82, of 200 Frontage Road, died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at National Health Care.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sparks United Methodist Church, Sparks, Ga., with the Rev. James Sapp officiating. Burial will be in Longbridge cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Nashville, Ga.

Mrs. Knight, a native of Cook County, Ga., was a former resident of Adel, Ga., and Warner Robins, Ga. She had retired from civil service. She was a member of Sparks United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Larue Knight, Warrenville, Ronald E. Knight, Graniteville, Alton Knight, Griffin, Ga., and Terry Knight, Clearwater; and 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home, Adel.

Mrs. Helen Luckasavage

AIKEN -- Mrs. Helen Silinsky Luckasavage, 88, of 830 Laurens St., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Fritzgerald officiating. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Luckasavage, a native of Yonkers, N.Y., had lived in Aiken since 1974. She had been a payroll clerk for Otis Elevators, Yonkers. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Walter John Luckasavage Sr.; a son, Walter Luckasavage Jr., Melbourne Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Eleanor Krisch, Aiken; three brothers, Emil Silinsky, Michael Silinsky and Edward Silinsky, all of Yonkers; four sisters, Ethel Keller, Frances Janos, Ruth Pisarz and Mary LaVorgna, all of Yonkers; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Parish Life Center Building Fund, 219 York St. S.E., Aiken, SC 29809.

Shellhouse Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
