MILLEN, Ga. -- Mrs. Linda Bailey Alford, 38, of 321 Drexel Ave., died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, at Jenkins County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center, Inc., with Richard Walthour, apostle, officiating. Burial will be in New Millen cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Alford, a native of Millen, was a homemaker and a member of True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center. She attended Atlanta Area Technical School, where she trained as a dental assistant.

Survivors include three daughters, Latisha Alford, Monique Alford and Tiffany Alford, all of Millen; her parents, Rufus and Lannie Bailey, both of Millen; one brother, Gene Patrick Bailey, Millen; and one sister, Carolyn Bynes, Millen.

Dwight's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clara Andrews

WARRENTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Clara Mae Andrews, 83, of 1020 Harris Road, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Hancock County, with the Rev. R.L. Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Andrews, a native of Hancock County, was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lucious Andrews and Willie Andrews, both of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Thelma Williams and Ruby Bell, both of Warrenton; four sisters, Annie B. Tucker, Warrenton, Gladys Strother, Sparta, and Cornelia Fowler and Lillian Leslie, both of Columbus, Ohio; and 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence of Thelma Williams, 1012 Harris Road, or Dawson's Mortuary.

Mrs. Eudele Athey

Mrs. Eudele K. Athey, 76, of 3002 Jay Ave., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at Salem Nursing and Rehab Center.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, with the Rev. Elliott Rice officiating.

Mrs. Athey, a native of Augusta, was a cashier and a member of Worldwide Church of God.

Survivors include one son, John Walter Grace, Pittsboro, N.C.; and one daughter, Nancy A. Williams, Augusta; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Worldwide Church of God, Pasadena, CA 91123.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eleanor Brown Bell, 90, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, in Huntsville, Ala.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert L. Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Bell, a lifelong resident of Augusta, was a legal secretary for more than 50 years. A graduate of Tubman High School, she was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Emma Lester Bible Class and taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school.

Survivors include a son, Charles Bell, Huntsville; a sister, Sarah M. Brown; and a grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Poteet Funeral Home, Greene Street.

JACKSON -- Mrs. Dale Alberta Miller Boyd, 57, of 110 Fourth St., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shellhouse Funeral Home, Aiken, with the Rev. Guy Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Boyd-Holley cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyd, a native of Newberry, was a employee of Wal-mart, Martinez, and a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Julian Galphin Boyd; three sons, James Lee Boyd, North Charleston, Julian Martin Boyd, Virginia Beach, Va., and Michael Thomas Boyd, Williamsburg, Va.; one daughter, Carmen Teresa Driggers, Santee; one sister, Donna Givens, Williston; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

JOPLIN, Mo. -- Madison E. ``Maddie" Cahill died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at Freeman Hospital West.

A memorial service will be held Friday at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, Ohio.

Survivors include her parents, Doug and Terre Cahill; one brother, Christopher Cahill; one sister, Paige Cahill; her paternal grandparents, Pat and Jim Slavik, Sebring, Fla.; and her maternal grandparents, Jeanne and Jerry Roof, Pauma Valley, Calif.
