Mr. Raymond Johnson Sr.

WRENS, Ga. -- Mr. Raymond Johnson Sr., 53, of Waynesboro Highway, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lofton African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Leroy Britt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mr. Johnson, a native of Jefferson County, was a member of Lofton African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Survivors include three sons, Gregory B. Johnson and Raymond Johnson Jr., both of Wrens, and Mickey Paschal, Dearing; one daughter, Phyllis Davis, Wrens; two brothers, Lee Edgar Johnson and Hubert Johnson, both of Wrens; and six sisters, Gladys Selby, Annie Lee Johnson and Lillie Mae Brown, all of New York, Mary White, Springfield, N.Y., Catherine Coleman, Laurelton, N.Y., and Julia Bussey, Augusta.

Pallbearers will be Larry Pitts, Michael Johnson, Steve Hankins, Eugene Stone, Claude Farmer Jr., Anthony Thompson, Robert L. Mathis and Lee Edgar Johnson Jr..

Friends may call at the residence of Gregory Johnson, 113 Denny Bridge Road.

Mr. N.C. Kimbrough Jr.

Retired businessman

SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mr. N.C. ``Cotton" Kimbrough Jr., 70, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Screven County Memorial cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Huffingham officiating.

Mr. Kimbrough, a native of Screven County, was a retired business owner and a member of Middle Ground Baptist Church. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Boykin Kimbrough; three sons, Michael Kimbrough and Charles Kimbrough, both of Sylvania, and William Kimbrough, Waynesboro; his mother, Luticia Bazemore Thigpen, Sylvania; one sister, Helen K. Blalock, Estill, S.C.; and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Middle Ground Baptist Church, c/o Walter Evans, 812 Farmdale Road, Sylvania, GA 30467.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Mr. Raymond Krantz

Retired machinist

Mr. Raymond T. ``Ray" Krantz, 83, of 2144 Lumpkin Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Sam Zebron officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Krantz, a native of Milwaukee, was a retired machinist with Continental Can Co. and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Lucille Krantz; one daughter, Kathy K. Baygents, Thomson; three sisters, Lucy Lewandowski, Irene Krelwitz and Delores McLaughlin, all of Milwaukee; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Herman, Frank DeRoller, Jimmy Stephens, Joe Stine, Haywood Ford, Gerald Baygents and Luther Bohler.

Friends may call at the residence.

Mr. Jonathan Parham

College student

Mr. Jonathan Harold Parham, 24, of 2455 Sumac Drive, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Fleming Christian Church with the Rev. Terry White officiating. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mr. Parham, a native of Augusta, was a student at Augusta State University, where he studied psychology, and worked in the children's psychology department at the Medical College of Georgia. He had attended Georgia Institute of Technology and was a member of Fleming Christian Church.

Survivors include his parents, Billy H. Parham and Jean Parham, both of Augusta; a brother, Shawn Parham, Augusta; and four sisters, Vickie P. Forde, Tracy P. Townsend, Cindy P. Scoggins and Jacqueline Parham, all of Augusta.

Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Becky Randall

Homemaker

TWIN CITY, Ga. -- Mrs. Becky Jones Randall, 91, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Candler County Hospital, Metter.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. at Peebles Curry Durden Mortuary with the Revs. Franklin Sasser and Gene Sego officiating. Burial will be in Old Cannoochee cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Randall, a native of Emanuel County, was a homemaker and a member of Twin City First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Sallie Brown and Rose Lee Jackson, both of Swainsboro.

Pallbearers will be Michael Coursey, Paul Bowen, Ronnie Johnson, Randall Jones, Ralph Neal and Eddie Dean Neal.

Mr. Brett Roby

Industrial engineer

Mr. Brett E. Roby, 24, of 3503 Middleton Place, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, with the Rev. Billy Alford officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Roby, a native of Eatontown, N.J., was an industrial engineer with ZEP Manufacturing, Atlanta.

Survivors include his parents, Hugh E. and Carole Roby, both of Augusta; one brother, Todd A. Roby, Huntingdon, Pa.; his paternal grandparents, Earl L. and Catherine Roby, both of Huntingdon; and his maternal grandmother, Leoda Leamer, Huntingdon.

Pallbearers will be Brian K. Channing, Charles Sampson, Phue Nguyen, Amos Johnson, Leon Garnett and Todd Roby.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Leo Ryans

Forklift driver

EDGEFIELD, S.C. -- Mr. Leo Ryans, 55, of 870 Walker Road, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in Edgefield County.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, McCormick, with the Rev. W.H. McCain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mr. Ryans, a native of McCormick County, was a forklift driver with Graniteville Mills, Gregg Division. He was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Janie Ryans, Edgefield; six brothers, John Henry Ryans and George Ryans, both of Edgefield, Robert Ryans, Hartford, Conn., Levie Ryans, St. Petersburg, Fla., Eddie Ryans, McCormick, and Whitfield Ryans, Trenton; three sisters, Ernestine Jones, Augusta, Clara Snell, Hartford, and Skavon Andrews, Rochester, N.Y.

Friends may call at the residence of John Henry Ryans.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Blalock's Funeral Home.

Mr. Paul Stuckart

Army retiree

Mr. Paul G. Stuckart, 80, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Peyton officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Stuckart, a native of Scranton, Ohio, was retired from the Army and was a veteran of World War II. He had worked in the civil service as a teacher of avionics. He was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, fourth degree.

Survivors include five sons, P. Michael Stuckart, Anchorage, Alaska, R. Patrick Stuckart, Conway, S.C., Daniel B. Stuckart, San Antonio, Terence M. Stuckart, Moosup, Conn., and Timothy J. Stuckart, Watkinsville; two daughters, Andrea Stuckart Welb, New Orleans, and Monica Stuckart Zorn, Slidell, La.; two brothers, Godfrey A. Stuckart, Hartford, Conn., Bertin M. Stuckart, Scranton, Pa.; and 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be members of the Army honor guard.

Mr. Robert Wallace

WASHINGTON, Ga. -- Mr. Robert W. Wallace, 83, of 119 Norman St., died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Rayle, with the Rev. G.L. Avery officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mr. Wallace, a native of Wilkes County, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie Wallace.

Mrs. Louise Bartee

SWAINSBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Louise Wilkerson Bartee, 54, of 512 Turner Drive, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Emanuel Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Johnny Cross and Eddie Hall officiating. Burial will be in Swainsboro City cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Bartee, a native of Emanuel County, was a homemaker and a member of Chapel of Grace, Kite.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Bartee; two daughters, Elizabeth Towson, Eden, and Lisa Howard, Brunswick; three brothers, Homer Wilkerson, Florida, Jake Wilkerson, Swainsboro, and Floyd Coleman, Rincon; six sisters, Gladys Hall, Ruby Hall, Betty Garrett and Joyce Wilkerson, all of Swainsboro, Lorina Hall, Dellwood, and Celestine Hux, Savannah; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Hall, Thomas Howell, Roger McKenzie, Chris Wilkerson, Freddy Ashley and Billy Riner.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Chapel of Grace.

Friends may call at the residence of Gladys Hall.
