Mrs. Ruby L. Harrison, of Wheeler Road, died Wednesday, March 18, 1998, at Kentwood Nursing Facility.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Thomson First Baptist Church, Thomson, with the Rev. James C. Elder Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fort Creek Baptist Church cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Dearing.

Mrs. Harrison, a native of McDuffie County, was a homemaker and a member of Thomson First Baptist Church, where she was a member of Altrusa Sunday School Class and worked in the church nursery.

Survivors include one son, Otis Harrison, Thomson; two daughters, Ernestine H. Sullivan, Florence, Colo., and Earlene Harrison, McDonough; two brothers, C.B. Jones Jr., Thomson, and Eugene Jones, Langley; and seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be T.L. Smith, Bobby Hammond, Kenneth Holzendorf, Johnny Smith, Floyd Montgomery and Pete Reeves.

Memorials may be made to the Capital Stewardship Campaign at Thomson First Baptist Church.

Friends may call at the residence or Curtis Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jessie Kelly

WAYNESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Jessie Mae Kelly, of 190 Persimmon Drive, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Smith Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Girard, with the Rev. Sidney Miniweather officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Kelly, a native of Burke County, was a homemaker and a member of Smith Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, where she served on the usher board.

Survivors include two sons, John Kelly Jr., Waynesboro, and Wayne Kelly, Girard; three daughters, Barbara A. Kelly and Theresa A. Kelly, both of Girard, and Mary A. Kelly, Waynesboro; her mother, Nina Heath Hilton, Girard; seven brothers, John C. Heath, Aiken, Jeff Hilton Jr., Augusta, Harold E. Hilton, James Hilton and Macklyn Hilton, all of Girard, Schenley Hilton, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Roosevelt Dixon, Nassau, Fla.; one adopted brother, Nathaniel Jones Hilton, Bartow, Fla.; five sisters, Betty B. Mobley, Vivian Hilton and Doris B. Hilton, all of Girard, and Katherine Barnes and Merdine Christie, both of Augusta; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Jimperson, Curtis Abrams and her nephews.

Friends may call at 421 Glisson Road, Girard; or at noon today at Phinazee and Son Funeral Home; or at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Smith Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.

Mrs. Inez Knight

HEPHZIBAH -- Mrs. Inez G. Knight, of 2828 Pepperdine Drive, died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Irwinton, with Drake Barber, elder, officiating. Burial will be in Red Level cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Irwinton.

Mrs. Knight was an accounting specialist and a nurse.

Survivors include her husband, George L. Knight; one son, Marcus Knight; three brothers, Leon Thomas, Toledo, Ohio, Dorsey L. Knight, Irwinton, and Revon Billue, McIntyre; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence.

Wilkinson County Mortuary, Irwinton, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Edith Krohn

Retired teacher

AIKEN -- Mrs. Edith Grampp Krohn, 92, of 830 Laurens St. N., died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with the Rev. Michael Rowell officiating. Burial will be in Mount Emblem cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Elmhurst, Ill.

Mrs. Krohn, a native of Minonk, Ill., was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Dianne Dowell, Wheaton, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the National Arthritis Foundation.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue.

Mr. Gary Lee

Retiree

STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Gary L. Lee, 63, died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joiner-Shepard Funeral Home with the Rev. H. William Perry officiating. Burial will be in Screven County Memorial cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mr. Lee, a native of Screven County, was a retired agent with the Bulloch County office of the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service. He was a 1953 graduate of Screven County High School and received his bachelor of science degree in agriculture in 1957 from the University of Georgia. He served in the Army and had been an extension agent in Chatham County and Montgomery County. He was a consultant with Tillman and Deal Farm Supply Inc. and was a member of Statesboro First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil Randolph Lee; one son, Brett Randolph Lee, Statesboro; one daughter, Mary Lee Nelson, Snellville; one brother, J.A. Lee, Sylvania; two sisters, Julia Davis, Atlanta, and Hilda Rahn, Rockyford; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Alan Davis, Orien Dailey Jr., Harold Brantley, Larry Fields and Wendell Brannen.

The family will receive friends at 5 p.m today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Martha Mosley

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Mrs. Martha Mosley died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at Columbia Plantation General Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Carter's Mortuary, Waynesboro, Ga. Burial will be in Rocky Ford Baptist Church, Waynesboro.

Mrs. Mosley, a native of Jenkins County, was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Willie James Mosley and Jerry Mosley, both of Fort Lauderdale, and Herbert Mosley and Leroy Williams, both of Orlando; one brother, Otis Mosley, Fort Lauderdale; two sisters, Fannie Mae Mosley, Philadelphia, and Hattie Mae Mosley, Detroit; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence of James Young, 1415 Westgate Drive, Waynesboro, or at the funeral home.

Mr. James Ray

BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- Mr. James Ray died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Meadow Brook Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will be in Blackville cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mr. Ray, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Jimmy Isaac, Harold Isaac and Frank Isaac, all of Blackville; and four sisters, Alma Jean Mack, Vernell Moye and Ella Bell Daniels, all of Blackville, and Christabell Ray, New York.

Miss Carmen Reaves

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Carmen Lorrell Reaves, 14, died Monday, March 16, 1998.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Bold Spring Baptist Church, Sandersville, with the Rev. Lindra Fleming officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Survivors include her father, Charlie Reaves, Columbus; her stepmother, Elzina Reaves, Columbus; three brothers, Cymone Reaves, Jeremy Reaves and Chaunce Reaves, all of Columbus; and her grandmother, Sarah Curry, Sparta.

M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Sandersville, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sara Terrell

MARIANNA, Fla. -- Mrs. Sara Lou Terrell, 76, died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Jackson Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Starling-Hatcher Funeral Home, Augusta, with the Rev. John Page officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.

Mrs. Terrell, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker and a member of Marvin United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie T. Smith, Marianna, and Donnie T. Little, Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Mary Nicholes, Rock Hill, S.C.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

TRENTON, S.C. -- Mrs. Lillian Louise Williams, 68, of 10 Turbo Drive, died Wednesday, March 18, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.

Mrs. Williams, a native of Edgefield County, was a homemaker and a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby Williams, Aiken, Sammie L. Williams, Trenton, and Leroy Williams, Florence; one daughter, Beatrice W. Johnson, Trenton; two brothers, Joseph Pixley, Edgefield, and Johnnie Lee Pixley, Johnston; five sisters, Cornelius P. Burt, Elizabeth P. Lee and Estella P. Gray, all of Johnston, Clevie Mae Suggs, Saluda, and Betty Pixley, Rochester, N.Y.; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Amos and Sons Funeral Home, Johnston.
