Mr. Larry Sheram

TENNILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Larry Joiner Sheram, 62, of 320 Fourth St., died Friday, April 4, 1998, at Emanuel Memorial Center, Swainsboro.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Zeta cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Wills officiating.

Mr. Sheram, a native of Washington County, was a retired educator, football coach and track coach. He served in the Army Military Police, Germany.

Survivors include one son, Wade Mills Sheram, Dacula; one daughter, Lisa Jo Sheram, Lawrenceville.

E.K. May Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. George Spitzer

Savannah River Plant retiree

BARNWELL, S.C. -- Mr. George W. Spitzer, 67, died Thursday, April 2, 1998.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mole Funeral Home with Kenneth Cato and the Rev. Wendell Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell County Memorial cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mr. Spitzer, a native of Williamson, W.Va., was retired from Savannah River Plant and was a member of Hagood Avenue Baptist Church.

The family said he was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Beasley Spitzer; two sons, Michael W. Spitzer, Elgin, Ill., and Gregory D. Spitzer, Hampshire, Ill.; one daughter, Kimberly Iwicki, Roselle, Ill.; two sisters, Gloria Lightfoot, Southport, N.C., and Pat Page Cocoa, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ellen Trimmier

Civil service retiree

Mrs. Ellen M. Trimmier, 101, of 1316 Hickman Road, died Thursday, April 2, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity On-The-Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Trimmier, a native of Fairburn, was retired from the civil service and was a member of Trinity On-The-Hill United Methodist Church and the Wesleyan Service Guild and charter president of the North Augusta American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 71.

Survivors include one son, Sidney M. Trimmier, Hilton Head Island, S.C.; two daughters, Mary Jane Forkner, Albuquerque, N.M., and Sara Trimmier Ruczko, North Augusta; and seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Vincent Ruczko, Richard Ruczko, Tim Pate, Larry Johnson, Maurice Tinsley and Stetson Corbitt.

Friends may call at the residence of Sara Ruczko, 1006 Holiday Drive, North Augusta.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rowland Funeral Home.

Ms. Gladys Freeman

Homemaker

Ms. Gladys Freeman, 85, of Appling, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. Roscoe F. Perry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Ms. Freeman, a native of Columbia County, was a homemaker and a member of First Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sisters Allene Choice and Ruby Scott, both of Appling, and Jannie Johnson, Atlanta; and seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bernard Thomas, Vernon Thomas Jr., Jasper Hunt, Jeffery Hunt, Ronnie Bussey and James A. Paschall.

Friends may call at the residence of Ruby Scott, 7228 Terrance Drive, or at noon today at Crawford Mortuary.

The family will receive friends after the burial at the church.

Mrs. Retha Ashley

AIKEN -- Mrs. Retha B. Ashley, 52, of 1297 Chime Bell Church Road, died Thursday, April 2, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Runs Missionary Baptist Church, Beech Island, with the Rev. C.W. Phinizy officiating. Burial will be in Park Baptist Church cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Beech Island.

Mrs. Ashley was a native of Aiken.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Ashley Jr.; five sons, Emerson A. Ashley, Keith B. Ashley and Henry B. Ashley III, all of Aiken, Kerry Boyd, Augusta, and Shawn T. Ashley, Warner Robins; her father, Emerson Boyd, Jackson; her mother, Louise Glover Boyd, Aiken; three brothers, Ernest Boyd and Donald Boyd, both of Jackson, and Lawrence Boyd, North Augusta; a sister, Mamie Patterson, Aiken; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence or at 1 p.m. today at Cheatham Funeral Home, New Ellenton.

Mrs. Addie Bushee

Homemaker

BELVEDERE -- Mrs. Addie Redd Bushee, 82, of 306 Hampton Ave., died Saturday, April 4, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta, with the Revs. Henry Payne and J. Lloyd Prince officiating. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Bushee, a native of Aiken County, was a homemaker and a charter member of Bel-Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Larry E. Bushee, North Augusta; a daughter, Brenda Bushee Amos, Columbia; a brother, David Redd, North Augusta; and 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wyatt Butler

McCormick Mill retiree

McCORMICK, S.C. -- Mr. Wyatt Clayton Butler, 71, of 706 August St. Extension, died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Self Memorial Hospital, Greenwood.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Overbrook cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Gambrell officiating.

Mr. Butler, a native of Greenwood County, had retired from McCormick Mill as a maintenance worker and worked at the McCormick County Recycling Center. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of McCormick First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barnett Quarles Butler; a daughter, Wanda Smith, Parksville; his stepmother, Mattie Brown Butler, Columbia; a brother, Felton Butler, Evans; two sisters, Barbara B. Storey, Saluda, and Eron B. May, Greenwood; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Allen Butler, Alton White, Billy Jennings, Richard Jennings, Tom Campbell, Neal White, George Long and Dumont Holliday.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Strom Funeral Home.

Mrs. Angela Cirincione

Mrs. Angela C. Cirincione, 38, of 4072 Oregon Trail, Martinez, died Saturday, April 4, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Evans, with the Revs. Glenn Ethridge, Randy Monk and Mark Sargent officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Cirincione, a native of Atlanta, was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Hope Circle and the Open Door Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Larry C. Cirincione; a son, Daniel Lawrence Cirincione, Martinez; and two brothers, Anthony Clary, Marion, Va., and Stephen Clary, Martinez.

Pallbearers will be Bill Boyles, Jeff Simless, J.R. Hamrick, Skip Fowler, Joe Clary and Mike Allen.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hope Circle and the Open Door Sunday School Class of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 825 N. Belair Road, Evans, GA 30809.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Platt's Funeral Home, Belair Road.

Mrs. Ethel Collins

Greenfield Industries employee

Mrs. Ethel Collins, of 2808 Lumpkin Road, died Thursday, April 2, 1998, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Friendly Church of God in Christ with Leroy James officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Collins, a native of Warrenton, Ga., had worked for Greenfield Industries for 21 years. She was a member of Friendly Church of God in Christ, where she served as church secretary, sang in the choir, worked as a pastor's aide and was a former Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include two brothers, Hubert Dooley, Augusta, and Connie Way Dooley Jr., Philadelphia; and four sisters, Katie Ramsey and Betty Hacker, both of Augusta, Doris Heyward, Philadelphia, and Jessie Dooley, Jonesboro.

Pallbearers will be Willie Williams, Stanley Wilmont, Benjamin Smith, Tony Wright, Clarence Sharpe, Tony Malone, Paul Fryer and Terrance McClattie.

Friends may call at the residence or at Williams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Marie Floyd

Homemaker

EDGEFIELD, S.C. -- Mrs. Marie Ungaro Floyd, of 214 Pine Knoll Lane, died Saturday, April 4, 1998.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ninedorf officiating. Entombment will be in Eastview cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery Mausoleum.

Mrs. Floyd, a native of Rochester, N.Y., was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rush Floyd; four brothers, James Ungaro, Lee Ungaro, Cosmo Ungaro and Vincent Ungaro, all of California; and four sisters, Portia Cable, Toby Bunker, Delores Ungaro and Ester Blackley, all of California.

Pallbearers will be Robert Pollard Jr., Milton Lawson, Warren Floyd, L.A. Pollard V, Haynie Floyd Jr. and Bert Pollard.
