SWAINSBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Elmo Wyatt Youngblood, 82, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998, at Swainsboro Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Cail Pressey and Louis Pearce officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mr. Youngblood, a native of Emanuel County, was retired from Swainsboro Print Works and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Brown Youngblood; three sons, Wyatt Youngblood, Adrian, George Youngblood, Augusta, and Dean Youngblood, Cheraw, S.C.; one daughter, Myra S. Underwood, Cheraw; one brother, Wilbur Youngblood, Boynton, Fla.; seven sisters, Audrey Murphy, Gainesville, Fla., Margaret Orlando and Dorothy Bell, both of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mildred Moore, Nunez, Sarh Nell Whitney, Atlanta, Mary Loveless, Albany, and Martha Claxton, Swainsboro; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Drone Hudson Jr., Marcus Boss, Ken McGee, Jamie Moxley, Clint Boss, Larry McDaniel, Trinton Hooks, Sammy Willis and Johnny Holt.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church adult men's Sunday school class.

GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Mr. Thomas Alton Kirby, 86, of 2009 S. Main St., died Friday, April 17, 1998, at Self-Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Lawrence Johnson, Hayes Riddle and James Young officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kirby, a native of Greenville County, was retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, James F. ``Jimmy" Kirby and Thomas E. ``Tommy" Kirby; one brother, Harmon H. Kirby; one sister, Sarah K. Slack; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dewitt Pressley, Guy Reed, Harold Boyd, Branch Hall, Jimmy Still and Myron Toney.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church.

BURNETTOWN -- Mr. Geiger W. Addie, 85, of 212 Daley Drive, died Friday, April 17, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Hillview Baptist Church, Graniteville, with the Rev. Louis Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville.
Mr. Addie, a native of Saluda County, had lived in the Burnettown most of his life. He had retired as a grocer after 55 years in business. He was a member of Hillview Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Ergle Bible Class.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie King Addie; a daughter, Doris Addie Phillips, Aiken; two stepdaughters, Jean Wright, Belvedere, and Olivia Turner, Aiken; three brothers, Dallas Addie, Hubert Addie and J. Billy Addie, all of Gloverville; three sisters, Myrtle Watkins, Gloverville, Peggy Sanders, Burnettown, and Mary E. Cosnahan, North Augusta; and nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Dennis, Jimmy Hardy, Harold McKinney, Marvin Jones and Wallace Galloway.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ergle Bible Class.

Mrs. Ilse Brandenstein Blanck, 94, died Thursday, April 16, 1998, in Augusta.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Westover Memorial Park with Rabbi Jordan M. Parr officiating.
Mrs. Blanck, a native of Dortmund, Germany, was a former resident of Tampa, Fla. While in Tampa, she was a board member of the Senior Citizen's Council and a member of the sisterhood of Congregation Schaarai Zedek Temple. She was a member of Congregation Children of Israel, Walton Way Temple.
Survivors include one daughter, Marian Shapiro, Augusta; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Braswell, a native of Banks County, Ga., was a homemaker.

Mr. Dunkley, a native of Halifax County, Va., was a driver for Girls Scouts Inc. He was an Army veteran.
His family said he was referred to as ``Big Boy" and was a friend to all.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Dunkley, North Augusta; a daughter, Manell Mitchell, Augusta; his mother, Louise Dunkley, Halifax County; a sister, Mary E. Clark, Washington; and two grandchildren.

Mr. John Horr, 73, of 1 Freedom Way, died Saturday, April 18, 1998, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Mr. Horr, a native of Dana, Mass., had lived in Augusta for two years. He had retired. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of Loyal American Legion Post 148, Amherst, Mass.

GRANITEVILLE -- Mr. William Curtis Kneece, 73, of 118 Senn St., died Friday, April 17, 1998, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Napier Funeral Home with the Revs. Helen Black and Ronnie Reese officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. Kneece, a native of Vaucluse, had owned Midway Pest Control for 48 years and was a member of the CSRA Pest Control Association and the National Pest Control Association. He was a Navy and Marine Corps veteran and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a past commander of American Legion Post 77 and Aiken County Voiture 1177 40-8. He was a member of Clearwater Lighthouse Church, Clearwater.
Survivors include two sons, Tony C. Kneece and Jerry Lane, both of Aiken; two daughters, Diane R. Hillman, Seneca, and Diane Bonham, Graniteville; three brothers, Leon Kneece and Leroy Kneece, both of Langley, and Ray Kneece, Aiken; two sisters, Magdalene Robinson, North Augusta, and Betty K. Cook, Warrenville; and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

HEPHZIBAH -- Mrs. Erma S. Maddox, 66, of 4095 Duncan Drive, died Friday, April 17, 1998, in Burke County.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, with the Rev. Rick Busby officiating.
Mrs. Maddox, a native of Statesboro, was a longtime resident of New Ellenton. She had retired as co-owner of Maddox Supermarket, New Ellenton. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Maddox; three sons, Wilbur Maddox Jr. and James Maddox, both of Johnston, S.C., and William E. Maddox, New Ellenton; a daughter, Debbie M. Price, New Ellenton; her mother, Dora Smith, Augusta; three brothers, Edward Smith, Donald Smith and Wilford Smith, all of Augusta; a sister, Betty Walters, New Ellenton; and eight grandchildren.
