HEPHZIBAH -- Mr. Jason Daniel Beamer, 23, died Sunday, June 21, 1998 at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at a later date.

Mr. Beamer was a native of Glendora, Calif.

Survivors include his father, Raymond A. Beamer, Hephzibah; two brothers, Eric Hinds Beamer, Augusta, and Joseph Beamer, Hephzibah; one sister, Jennifer Beamer, Hephzibah, and his maternal grandparents George and Gloria Boop, Oregon.

AIKEN -- Mrs. Adelle Snipes Richardson, 84, of 352 Redds Branch Road, died Monday, June 22, 1998.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Redds Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Watford, Charles Still and W. James Rivers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Richardson, a native of Orangeburg County, was a homemaker and a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church, where she was a member of Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Survivors include four sons, Bruce S. Snipes, E. Bernie Snipes, Gene S. Snipes and S. Jack Snipes, all of Aiken; two daughters, Virginia S. Snipes and Olivia S. Bentley, both of Aiken; one sister, Beatrice S. Jones, Aiken; and 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Gunter, Wayne Snipes, Wallace Snipes, Eddy Snipes, Victor Snipes, Jeremy Widener and Robbie Bentley.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and the Willis Gibbs Sunday School Class.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Adele Snipes Richardson to the Redds Branch Baptist Church, 390 Redds Branch Road, Aiken, SC, 29801.

Rivers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Daniel Thomas Sr.

PHILADELPHIA -- Mr. Daniel Thomas Sr., of 5723 Walton Ave., died Friday, June 19, 1998 at Hahneman Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Transfiguration Church. Burial will be in Merion Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Thomas; two sons, Daniel Thomas Jr. and John Thomas; four daughters, Judith Thomas, Bernadette Thomas, Veronica Thomas and Vivian Eaton; one brother, Rubin Thomas; and six grandchildren.

Savin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta, is in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Jack Thompson

STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Jack H. Thompson, 56, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Bulloch Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Joiner-Shepard Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Louderback officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Thompson, a native of Chatham County, was a retired paint contractor and was of the Church of God Faith.

Survivors include two sons, Ernie Thompson, North Carolina, and Joe Thompson, Grant, Ala.; two daughters, Lena Bell, Savannah, and Holly Sheffield, Millen; his mother, Loraine Kennedy, Statesboro; his father, Jack Thompson, Savannah; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Ellis Wall

LANGLEY -- Mr. Ellis Wall, 77, of 450 Piney Heights Road, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Pine Forest Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Doss officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville.

Mr. Wall, a native of Winder, Ga., was a retired supervisor with the Traffic and Transportation Department at E.I. DuPont Savannah River Plant. He was a member of the Pine Forest Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a member of the Leslie Key Sunday School Class. He had served in the Coast Guard during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Wood Wall; two sons, Louis Wall, Augusta, and Mark Wall, Langley; one sister, Lois Wall, Winder; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Julian Farmer, Claude Prather Sr., Buster Franklin, Kenneth King, Jerry Hatcher, Wesley Greene and Curtis O'Banion.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Leslie Key Sunday School Class.

Memorials may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, P.O. Box 97, Langley, SC 29834.

Friends may call at the residence or until 10:30 a.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home.

BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- Mrs. Hattie Bacon McDonald, 78, of Hampton Avenue, died Monday, June 22, 1998 at her residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blackville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Mew and Johnny Nixon officiating. Burial will be in Blackville cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. McDonald, a native of Bryan County, Ga., was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Blackville. She was a member of the Eastern Star Harmony Hope Chapter 229, Barnwell, the Women's Missionary Union and the American Legion Auxiliary 91, Blackville.

The family said ``she was a loving and dedicated wife and mother, and to her family the most beautiful flower of God's creation and loved by all who knew her."

Survivors include her husband, E.J. McDonald; two sons, E. Stanley McDonald, Blackville, and Larry V. McDonald, McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Angela McDonald MacKay, Guyton, Ga.; three sisters, Rosalee Shuman, Pembroke, Ga., Aleene Ansley, Bloomingdale, Ga.; and Stefanie Stanford, Americus, Ga.; and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Blackville, the American Cancer Society or Palmetto Health Hospice, Bamberg.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Folk Funeral Home, Williston.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Four Mile Baptist Church, New Ellenton, with the Rev. Donald Goode officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mr. Lawrence, a native of Barnwell County, was a mechanic and a member of Canaan Fair Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Williston.

Survivors include his wife, May E. ``Tuttie" Lawrence; three daughters, Sonya Lawrence, Donna Lawrence and Mary Lawrence, all of Aiken; his father, George Lawrence, Aiken; two brothers, Arnold Lawrence and Vernon Lawrence, both of Aiken; one sister, Shirley Sanders, Aiken; and one grandchild.

Friends may call at the residence or at Cheatham Funeral Home, New Ellenton.

Mr. Hampton Jackson

JOHNSTON, S.C. -- Mr. Hampton Henry Jackson, 84, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Edgefield County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Philippi Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mr. Jackson, a native of Johnston, was a retired retail merchant. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and Sunday school superintendent. He was a past Master of Kadosh Lodge, Ancient Free Masons No. 181 and a member and past Commander of American Legion Post No. 154.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Salter Jackson; one son, William H. ``Billy" Jackson, Johnston; two daughters, Janice Black, Forest, Va., and Marlene Reese, Irmo; one sister, Kathleen Eubanks, Waycross, Ga.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marshall McGee, Irvin Pollock, Deryl Hall, Robert Fallaw, David Pardue and Calvin Burgess.

Memorials may be made to the Challenge to Build Fund, Philippi Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hutchinson, a native of Jenkins County, was a retired Avon representative.

Survivors include her husband, Bart Danny Hutchinson; two sons, Moses Gentry, Augusta, and Donnie M. McCluskey, Millen; five daughters, Darlene Wilkerson, Metter, Beth Lovett, Augusta, Susan Derus and Tammy McCluskey, both of LaBelle, Fla., and Bonnie McDonald, Anniston, Ala.; and her mother, Jaunita Gentry, Augusta.

Mr. Henry Grantham Sr.

AIKEN -- Mr. Henry Holt Grantham Sr., 82, of 352 Outback Way, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shellhouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Hedgepath officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville.

Mr. Grantham, a native of Pineview, Ga., was a retired salesman with Independent Life Insurance Co. and a Baptist.

Survivors include one daughter, Sallie G. Hemrick, Meridian, Miss.; one son, Henry Holt Grantham Jr., Aiken; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alex G. Collie, Daryl H. Grantham, Timothy L. Grantham, Rodney L. Grantham, Michael W. Hemrick and Thomas E. Hemrick.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Meals on Wheels.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
