Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 11 AM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA with Rev. Floyd Tenny officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home. She was born in Coweta County to the late Paul Harris and Lora Wilma Harris. She was a member of Arnco Baptist Church. She was one of the original employees of the Newnan Wal-Mart, where she worked in the bakery before her retirement. Charles Whitten, age 72, of Newnan, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010. He was born in Coweta County to the late Clifford & Nellie Whitten. Robert Allen Herrmann, age 58, died Thursday November 25, 2010 in Sharpsburg, GA.
He was surrounded by his loving wife Diane of 18 yrs., and his brother and sisters.
He died following a battle with cancer.
Greatful for having shared their life with Bob are his wife Diane, Cheryl Walsh of South Dakota, Rhonda Knudsvig (LeRoy), Ken Herrmann(Brenda), Kathy Krueger (George), Lonnie Herrmann(Carla), Sue Johnson (Doug), Janet Donahue (Dan) and numerous friends and relatives.

Mr. Marion Arnold Northup, age 77, died November 26, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Delbert Northup and Daisy Granby Northup.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sons, Dwain, Dennis and Danny Northup and sister, Mary Louise Powell.

Shane grew up in California before his family moved to Georgia in 2002. He was a loving young man whose charm and sense of humor endeared him to many. James McKoon

James R. McKoon, age 95, of Newnan, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010, at his home. He was born May 4, 1915 in Luthersville, GA to the late Lewis Henry and Helena (Wyche) McKoon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Ferrell McKoon of 56 years in 1998; four brothers; Urcel Lewis McKoon, Julian Henry McKoon, G.W. (Buck) McKoon, Roy Wyche McKoon, and three sisters; Lurline M. Bryant, Edna M. Braswell, and Louise M. Burton. Mr. McKoon was a faithful and devoted member of the Freeman Memorial Methodist Church and was the last living charter member. He served in the US Army (WWII) from 1942 to 1945, he moved to Atlanta and then to Newnan and made his home. He worked at the Newnan Cotton Mill, West Point Pepperrell and Playtex Industries. He was devoted to his family and all who knew him knew how he enjoyed gardening. The family will receive family & friends at McKoon Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery.
