He was born on April 25, 1932, in Dade County, Fla., stepson of the late Cliff Rogers and Eria Knight Rogers of Social Circle. He worked for Williams Brothers Concrete Company and Blue Circle Concrete for 25 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Social Circle.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 at Corinth Christian Church, Loganville with remains placed in state at 2 p.m. Minister Don Hardison and Minister Lester Waters officiated. Burial followed in Carter Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Dunn served during WWII in the Army at Guadalcanal and was a member of Corinth Christian Church in Loganville.
