Mrs. Nell T. Thomas
Mrs. Nell Todd Thomas, 79, of LaGrange died Tuesday at West Georgia Medical Center.
The Claude A. McKibben & Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.

Bernard L. Stitcher
Bernard L. Stitcher, 86, of Grantville died this morning at Newnan Hospital.
The Claude A. McKibben & Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.

Cecil W. Richardson
Cecil W. Richardson, 53, of Hogansville died this morning.
Mr. Richardson was a lifelong resident of Hogansville and a retired iron worker. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of New Antioch Christian Church, American Legion and V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Geisler Richardson, a son, Michael West Richardson of Hogansville; a step son, Joe Lacina of Newnan; a sister, Ola Mae Hammett of Hogansville; five brothers, Hugh Richardson of Denver, Colo., Frank Richardson of Boise, Idaho, Buddy Richardson and Sammy Richardson, both of Hogansville, and Dan Richardson of LaGrange; and a grandson, Benjamin Lacina of Newnan.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Claude A. McKibben & Sons Funeral Home with Minister John Yost officiating. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leuna Manley
Mrs. Leuna (Noonie) Manley, 78, of 815 North Greenwood, Apt. 422, died Tuesday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Manley, born May 24, 1922, in LaGrange, was the daughter of the late Robert Oliver and Easter Mandy Nappier Hood. She had lived here most of her life and retired from LaGrange Car Wash. She was a former resident of the Calumet Community and a member of New Life Christian Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Cecelia Wright of Savannah and Paula Robbins of Anniston, Ala; three sons, Patrick McWhorter of Flowery Branch, Tim McWhorter of LaGrange and Neal McWhorter of Atlanta; a stepson, Charles Manley of LaGrange; 11 grandchildren, a great - grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Pitts of LaGrange and Mrs. Ruth Crook of College Park; a brother, Elson Hood of LaGrange; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home with Pastor Conrad DeFriese officiating.
The family will be at the home of her sister, Mrs. Elva Pitts, at 704 Park Ave., and will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nomie B. Aldridge
Mrs. Nomie B. Aldridge, 95, of 59 Glenda Drive died Tuesday at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Aldridge, born August 3, 1905, in Tallassee, Ala., was the daughter of the late John and Emma Bailey. She had lived here most of her life and retired from the Hillside Plant of Callaway Mills Company. She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters and a son - in - law, Ann James and Jo and Luther Morris, all of LaGrange; three sons, Cecil Aldridge, and Ernest (Crip) Aldridge, both of LaGrange, and Bill Aldridge of Monroe; 22 grandchildren and 19 great - grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles W. Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will be at her home and will receive friends Thursday from noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Jocie Mae Burnett, 79, of LaGrange died Monday at her home.

Mrs. Lunette S. Estes
Funeral services for Mrs. Lunette Sibley Estes, 95, of Thomaston, formerly of Meriwether County will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Claude A. McKibben & Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Aubrey Estes will officiate and burial will be at 4 p.m. in Southview Cemetery in Thomaston.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Christine Shortt
Mrs. Christine Shortt, 72, formerly of LaGrange died this morning at Hartley Woods Rehabilitation Center in Macon.
Mrs. Shortt, born August 6, 1928, in Troup County, was the daughter of the late Columbus and Cloie Gravett Burgin. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter Debra Cates of Hampton; three sons, Danny Shortt of Morrow, Bobby Shortt of McDonough and David Shortt of Jackson; 15 grandchildren, nine great - grandchildren; four sisters, a brother and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Oak Grove Congregational ChristianChurch Cemetery with the Rev. Brandon Brooks officiating.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home

Mrs. Doris Thornberry
Mrs. Emily Doris Thornberry, 79, of Lilburn, formerly of LaGrange, died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Thornberry, born June 28, 1921, in Troup County, was the daughter of the late Enoch Phillip and Cordelia Crews Moore. She retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and had lived in Lilburn for 15 years. She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Lilburn.
Survivors include two sons and daughters - in - law, Phil and Gail Thornberry and John and Jackie Thornberry, all of Lilburn; and five grandchildren, Lara Vickory, Tiffany Thornberry, Scott Thornberry, Cheryl Thornberry and Sean Thornberry.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Congregational Christian Church with the Revs. Bob Willis and Norton Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 p.m at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or those desiring may contribute to Meals on Wheels or to Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Lilburn.

Mrs. Janie Bryant
Mrs. Janie Bryant of 1401 Briarlake Court in Atlanta died Thursday at South Fulton Hospital.
Mrs. Bryant, a native of Troup County, was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Simpson Williams. She had worked as a cook at Georgia Tech and was a member of Bright Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Bryant of Pine Mountain; a daughter, Dorothy Fannin of Atlanta; two sisters, Florence Thomas of Atlanta and Mary Woods of Chattanooga, Tenn.; four grandchildren, 13 great - grandchildren, 11 great - great - grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bright Star Baptist Church with the Rev. W.L. Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her niece, Jarvis Clark, at 16671 Whitesville Road in Whitesville and will receive friends this evening from 7 until 8 at Mackey - Wilson - Jennings Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mary Jim Gilpin
Mrs. Mary Jim Hamer Gilpin, 91, of Coral Gables, Fla. died Jan. 10 in Coral Gables.
Mrs. Gilpin, the daughter of the late William Charles and Dora Smith Hamer, was born Aug. 27, 1909 in the Salem Community. She was married to the late Levering H. Gilpin and was a former resident of Washington, D.C. before moving to Coral Gables in 1961. Mrs. Gilpin was a former member of Salem United Methodist church and a former member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister, Elise Upchurch of Coral Gables; a niece, Jane Mack of Woodbridge, Va.; and two nephews, John Hamer of Copperas Cove, Texas and William Hamer of Pine Mountain. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers, Christine Hamer Cain, William W. Hamer and Robert C. Hamer.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Salem United Methodist Church cemetery. The Rev. David Phillips will officiate.
These funeral arrangements are being directed by Striffler - Hamby Mortuary, 1010 Mooty Bridge Road.

Terry Noles
Terry Travis Noles, 52, of West Point died at his residence Saturday.
Mr. Noles, the son of Inez Noles of Woodland, Ala. and the late Andrew Noles, was born in Randolph County, Ala. July 12, 1948. He was a member of Long Cane Baptist Church and was employed with Duracell. He was a veteran of the Airborne Division of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Linda R. Noles; four daughters, Becky Noles of Woodland, Tamara Rutledge, Mary Fincher, both of LaGrange and Fran Jones of Warm Springs: two sons, Andrew Noles of Woodland and Gregg Eid of Marshalltown, Iowa; three sisters, Diane Nichols of Fruithurst, Ala., Yvonne Price of Valley, Ala. and Ethel Robinson of LaGrange; two brothers, Joe Noles and Burmon Noles, both of Woodland, Ala.; ten grandchildren, three brother - in - laws, two sister - in - laws and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. EST at Johnson Brown - Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley Monday. The Rev. Fitzgerald Brown and Ridley Parmer will officiate.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 at the Johnson Brown - Service Funeral Home in Valley.
