Mrs. Eva Cook Winkler, 91, of Greenville died this morning at Alvista Healthcare Center in Greenville.
Arrangements will be announced by Claude A.. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.

Evelyn Cameron
Mrs. Evelyn “Annie B.” Cameron, of 129 North Street died Thursday at West Georgia Medical Center.
The family will be at her home and at the home of her daughter, Hartences McFarland at 99 Freeman Road.
Lakes - Dunson - Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Henry Weaver of 701 Daniel St., died this morning at Newnan West Hospital.

Mary G. Whitlock
Mrs. Mary G. Whitlock, 64, of Lanett, Ala., died Tuesday at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Whitlock, born January 17, 1939, in Chambers County, Ala., was the daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Evie Mae Ragsdale Griffin. She retired after 20 years from West Point Stevens, was a member of Riverside Country Club and Lanett First Baptist Church where she was active in the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was an avid golfer.
Survivors include her husband, Don Whitlock; a daughter Kim Henderson of Lincoln, Ala.; a son and daughter - in - law, Jeff and Gwen Whitlock of LaGrange; a sister, Betty Hull of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Kelly Whitlock of Auburn, Ala.. and Brooke Whitlock and Chad Whitlock, both of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Marvalene Scott Griffin.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. EDT at Lanett First Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. EDT at Johnson - Brown Service Funeral Home in Lanett.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Research or to Lanett First Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Whitlock.

Thelma S. Mullennix
Thelma Loree Sparks Mullennix died Saturday at Beverly Healthcare Center in Hendersonville, N.C.
Mrs. Mullennix, born September 21, 1919, in LaGrange, was the daughter of the late Walter Dallas and Bessie Howard Gamble Sparks. She was a former resident of Anderson, S. C.
Survivors include two brothers, Arthur Q. Sparks of Thomson and Cooper Lee Sparks of Shongaloo, La.; seven niece and seven nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie W. Mullennix Sr.
Burial will be in South Lawn Memorial Gardens in Anderson, S.C.
Jackson Funeral Service and Crematory in Hendersonville, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.

Alice “Millie” Lott, 71, of Davidson Road in West Point died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point.

Leonard H. Clegg
Leonard Harvey Clegg, 79, of Roanoke died Saturday at Bill Nichols Home in Alexander City, Ala.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. CST at Quattlebaum Funeral Home with the Rev. Lathonia Wright officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange at 3 p.m. CST.
A Randolph County native, he was born June 27, 1923, the son of the late Marvin and Betty Thompson Clegg. He was a Marine World War II veteran, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was employed at Handley Mills.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith Elaine Bonner of Roanoke and Mary Ruth Railey of LaGrange; a sister, Nora Hart of Dublin, Texas, a brother, Thomas F. Clegg of Wicomico Church, Va.; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma A. Clegg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

Renee W. Howard
Mrs. Renee Williamson Howard, 48, of Hogansville died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Williamson was born April 14, 1955, in Troup County, the daughter of the late Pat and Mary Cash Williamson. She was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, a 1974 graduate of Hogansville High School and a member of Hogansville Church of God. She had been a supervisor at Hughes Georgia.
Survivors include a son Chad Howard of Hogansville, three brothers and sisters - in - law, Jimmy and Joanne Williamson of Grantville, Tony and Susan Williamson of Hogansville, and Michael and Donna Williamson of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville with the Revs. Randall Hodge, Johnny Williamson and Wesley Boatman officiating. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville from 7 until 9.

Ruth Dennis
Mrs. Ruth M. Dennis, 93, of LaGrange died Sunday at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Dennis, born February 19, 1910, in Anniston, Ala., was the daughter of the late Aaron W. and Annie Lynn Worthy. She was a charter member of South Highland Presbyterian Church where she was active serving as a former deacon, choir member, children's Sunday school teacher. member of the Lena Kate Glenn Circle and was Woman of the Year in the church in 1988. She was a member of the Thursday Luncheon Club at First Methodist and Merrymakers at First Baptist Church on the Square. She had worked with the cancer society for several years, was a former member of the Business Girl’s League and AARP.
Survivors include three daughters and sons - in - law, Pat D. and Earnest Brooks of Lanett, Ala., Ella Ruth D. and Bobby Wilder of Macon and Debbie D. and Ray Hart of Kennesaw; a son and daughter - in - law, John D. Jr. and Sandra Dennis of LaGrange; six grandchildren, six great - grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Durham Dennis Sr. and a granddaughter, Dawn Dennis LaCombe.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 11 am. at South Highland Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening at Striffler - Hamby Mortuary from 6 until 8 .
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the South Highland Presbyterian Church, 39 South Highland Blvd. or to Hospice LaGrange at 1510 Vernon Road.
Striffler - Hamby Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Adina Starlin - Flavin
Adina Dianne Starlin - Flavin, 21, of LaGrange died Friday, May 30, 2003.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at St.. Mark’s Episcopal Church in LaGrange. The Rev. Lori M. Lowe will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Church immediately following the service.
Adina was born Jan. 18, 1982 in Homestead, Fla.
Survivors include a son, Aidan Starling of Hogansville; her father Jim Flavin of Hogansville; a brother, Mark Flavin of Brentwood, Calif.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Durward E. Roland of Greenville; and an aunt Adina Roland of Hogansville. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Roland Flavin.
It is the desire of the family that flowers be omitted, and that memorial contributions may be made to the Adina Starling - Flavin Memorial Fund at SunTrust Bank in LaGrange for the benefit of her son, Aidan, or to St. Mark's Episcopal Church in LaGrange.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie Satterwhite
Charlie Frank Satterwhite, of Michigan, formerly of LaGrange, died Wednesday in Flint, Mich.
Local survivors include two sisters, Ruth Satterwite Flowers of LaGrange and Julia Ann Reeves and her husband, Eddie, of Greenville; a brother, Larry Whitehead of LaGrange; a niece, Yvonne Pitman and her husband, Jerome, of LaGrange and other nieces, nephews and relatives.
Funeral services will be Monday at Lawrence Moon Funeral Home Chapel in Flint, Mich.

Tommy McFarling
Tommy Lee McFarling, 51, of West Point died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. McFarling, born October 2, 1951, in Troup County, was the son of the late Edward and Mattie Penn McFarling. He was a graduate of East Depot High School and was a member of Love Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Janice Todd and Anita Smith both of West Point, Doretha McFarlin of LaGrange and Cornelia Hubbard of Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Floyd Wallace and Willie Wallace, both of West Point, Jim Otis Wallace of Chicago and John McFarlin of West Point; a brother in law, Aaron Smith Jr. of West Point; two sisters - in - law, Annie Bell Wallace of West Point, and Annie Jean Wallace of Chicago; god children, Laperion Perry of LaGrange, Shakia Perry of West Point and Zariah McFarling of Valley Ala., a special nephew, Jonus Todd McFarlin of West Point; three aunts, Alice Ruth Tucker of San Pablo, Calif.: Katheryn Atkinson of Atlanta, Rosie Bee Jones of West Point; 11 nieces, 15 nephews, godmother Linda Faye White; two god sisters; two god brothers; devoted friends, Lilla Mae Hall, Thelma Williams, Constance Howard and Ella Pearl Trammell; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Willie T. Edmondson, Gary L. Fanning and Walter Smith officiating. Burial will be in Marseilles Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
M.W. Lee Mortuary in West Point is in charge of arrangements.
