She was former president of the Pilot Club, past member of Delta Kappa Gamma and former state first vice-president, and former member of the Georgia Education Association, National Education Association, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Commission of Education and National Retired Teachers Association. She was a Sunday School teacher, circle leader and administrative board member at Central United Methodist Church in Fitzgerald.

The widow of Willie L. Ziegler, she was retired from Middle Georgia Hospital and was a member of the Rosa Jackson Center Seniors Association. She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the VSW Choir and the Loyal Matrons Club.

BUTLER - Services for A.H. Riley "Bill" Bazemore will be at 11 a.m. today in Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bazemore, 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000. He was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. He was an antique clock and watch repairman. The widower of Sarah Bazemore, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Butler and Fickling Lodge No. 129 for over 50 years.
Survivors include his son, William Bazemore of Butler; sister, Christine McManus of Thomaston; a grandchild; and several great-grandchildren.
