Mr. Jerome B. Patterson, 67, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. John Page officiating.
Mr. Patterson, a native of Richmond County, was a retired linesman with Georgia Power. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a member of Marvin United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alene Vaugh Patterson; one daughter, Alesa Higginbotham, Cumming, Ga.; five sisters, Annie Moore, Grovetown, Mary Deas and Eliza Parrish, both of Augusta, Janette Burkhart, Infield, Conn., and Josie Bolton, Fayetteville, Ga.; and two grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Mills Polatty, Walter Guilfoyle, Mark Herbert, Sam Way, Fred Gary and Anthony Bing.

THOMSON -- Mrs. Kelyn E. Sims, 79, of Mount Pleasant Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at McDuffie County Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Curtis Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Bennett officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mrs. Sims, a native of Woodbury, was a homemaker and a member of Cliffwood Presbyterian Church, Augusta.

HEPHZIBAH -- Mrs. Louise J. Smyre of 3402 Knollcrest Road died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Franklin Covenant Baptist Church, Augusta, with the Rev. George Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens, Augusta.
Mrs. Smyre, a native of Jefferson County, was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church and First Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Mr. Richard Stagner
NEW YORK -- Mr. Richard Stagner, 66, of 159 Bay 29 St., died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at Tisch Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Ways Baptist Church Cemetery, Stellaville, Ga., with the Rev. Brian LaBurt officiating.
Mr. Stagner, a native of New York, was a newsstand operator and a Catholic. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Mrs. Frances Steadman
RIDGESPRING, S.C. -- Mrs. Frances Anderson Steadman, 99, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridge Spring Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ridge Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Steadman, a native of Spartanburg, was a member of Ridge Spring Methodist Church.

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mr. Vincent J. Dortenzo died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at noon today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Revs. Sandy McDonald and Peter Clarke officiating. Burial will be in private.
Mr. Dortenzo, a native of Pittsburgh, was retired from Savannah River Site with facilities management. He served in the Army and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Mr. Brooks, a native of Newberry County, was retired from Whitten Center and had previously worked at Joanna Mills. He was a member of Bush River Baptist Church.
