Mr. Sheldon Foster Sr.

Military retiree

WINNER, S.D. -- Mr. Sheldon L. ``Pee Wee'' Foster Sr. died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church. Burial will be in Winner Cemetery.

Mr. Foster, a native of Winner, was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and had retired after 21 years of service. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include three sons, Sheldon Foster Jr., Eugene David Foster and Brian Colby Foster, all of North Augusta; two daughters, Sharon Gail Benner, North Augusta, and Edith Alma Weigle, Augusta; a brother, Lester Foster, Winner, S.D.; two sisters, Flordela Price, Gig Harbour, Wash., and Virginia Floyd, Tacoma, Wash.; and 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, is in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Julius Fuller

Philadelphia Water Works retiree

PHILADELPHIA -- Mr. Julius Fuller, of 1740 Church Lane, died Friday, April 3, 1998.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Phillipian Baptist Church. Burial will be in Philadelphia.

Mr. Fuller, a native of Augusta, had retired from Philadelphia Water Works, where he had been president of the Workers' Union. He was a member and usher of Phillipian Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Willa Mae Fuller; two sons, Michael Fuller and Vincent Fuller, both of Philadelphia; three daughters, Pamela Siplin, Miami, Barbara Fuller, New York, and Sharon Beyah, Philadelphia; three brothers, Charles Fuller and Harold Fuller, both of Augusta, and Eugene Fuller, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and three sisters, Addie Terry and Jennie Cooper, both of Augusta, and Thelma Skinner, Philadelphia.

Friends may call at the residence of Jennie Cooper, 725 Albany Ave., or at Williams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Julia Hunter

Retired schoolteacher

TENNILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Julia Josephine Hunter, 83, of 513 Georgia Highway 68 S., died Friday, April 3, 1998, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Macon Memorial Park, Macon, with the Rev. Frank Appel officiating.

Mrs. Hunter, a native of Bibb County, was a graduate of Georgia College and State University. She had retired as an elementary school teacher in Bibb County and Twiggs County schools and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Tennille United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles B. Hunter, Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Nancy Hunter Helm, Tallahassee, Fla., and Gail Hunter Joiner, Tennille; a sister, Anne Booker Ray, Macon; and 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children, P.O. Box 2525, Macon, GA 31203.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at E.K. May Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dorothy Jones

Homemaker

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hill Jones died Saturday, March 28, 1998.

A memorial service was at noon Thursday, at Great Hope Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., with the Rev. Earl L. Bledsoe officiating.

Mrs. Jones, a native of Emporia, Va., was a 1956 graduate of Armstrong High School. She was a homemaker and had retired as a salesclerk from Rich's Department Store. She was a member of the Fort Gordon Enlisted Wives Club, and worked on the scholarship committee. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Imani and Vincent Jones, both of Atlanta; three daughters, Hollie Kelly, Temecula, Calif., Bridgette Bing, Augusta, and Tanya Fortson, Honolulu; a sister, Ella Grant Rollins, Richmond; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Albert Lee

Retired forestry towerman

JACKSON -- Mr. Albert ``Buck'' Lee, 92, of 502 Third St., died Saturday, April 4, 1998, in Aiken.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Jackson Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Hill officiating.

Mr. Lee, a native of Conway, had retired from the South Carolina Forestry Division as a towerman after 20 years of service at the Jackson fire tower. He was a Baptist.

His family said ``he was a good person who was loved by everyone. No one ever had an unkind word to say about him. He was good to his family and will be missed.''

Survivors include a sister, Marie Beard, Jackson.

Memorials may be made to Jackson First Alert, 508 Atomic Road, Jackson, SC 29831.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home, North Augusta.

Mr. Edward Morgan

Retired electrician

LANGLEY -- Mr. Edward R. Morgan, 80, of 284 Wheeler Circle, died Friday, April 3, 1998, at National Health Care Center, North Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hatcher Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Mr. Morgan, a native of Norfolk, Va., had retired from Daniels Construction Co. as an electrician. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, Aiken.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie May Lesher Morgan; four sons, Edward Morgan Jr. and Phillip Morgan, both of Aiken, Stephen Morgan, Charlotte, N.C., and Leslie Morgan, Langley; a brother, Edgar Morgan, Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wallace Eubanks, Dorsey Ard, Joe Dyches and Gerald DuBose.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Minnie Reddick

Kellar Aluminum Products retiree

WAYNESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Minnie Jewell Jordan Reddick, 72, of 444 Kilpatrick Road, died Saturday, April 4, 1998, at Burke County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at DeLoach Funeral Home with the Rev. Yonce Lively officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery, Sardis.

Mrs. Reddick, a native of McDuffie County, had retired from Kellar Aluminum Products and was a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, William Reddick, Waynesboro; three daughters, Rita Posey, Waynesboro, Betty Ann Alexander, Charleston, S.C., and Marie Hammock, Claxton; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Posey, Willie Oglesby, Billy Russell, Robert Ellison, J.W. Reddick, Hubert Reddick and Robert Grady Reddick.

Friends may call at the residence.

Mr. William Riley

Pharmacist

AIKEN -- Mr. William Patrick ``Pat'' Riley, 52, of Cherry Drive, died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, with the Rev. Steve Burnette officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell Memorial Cemetery, Barnwell.

Mr. Riley, a native of Barnwell County, was a graduate of Clemson University and the Medical College of Charleston. He was a pharmacist for Kroger Pharmacy, Augusta. He was a member of Barnwell First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Girlita Ortega Riley; two sons, William Bradford Riley and Walter Ortega, both of Aiken; his parents, John William and Nora Brabham Riley, both of Barnwell; and a sister, Elaine Riley Hiers, Allendale.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Edward Saunderson

Machinist

WARRENVILLE -- Mr. Edward J. Saunderson, 49, of 308 Brier Patch Lane, died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue, Aiken, with the Rev. Sandy McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Aiken.

Mr. Saunderson, a native of Hartford, Conn., was a machinist at Georgia Iron Works. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Mills Saunderson; a son, Bradley Saunderson, Aiken; a brother, John Saunderson, Fairfield, Calif.; and three sisters, Jane Eaton, Lexington, Ky., Gail Wolf, Columbia, and Leslie DeAntonio, Wilmington, N.C.

Pallbearers will be Robert Mills, Robert Mills Jr., Christopher Mills, Alan Wolf, John Saunderson and Randy Koon.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Emma Smith

Homemaker

Mrs. Emma ``Ms. M'' Smith, of 1620 Chestnut St., died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church with the Rev. C.J. Shuford Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, a native of Burke County, was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.

Pallbearers will be Will Palmer, James Glover, Charles Mitchell, Nathaniel Allen and Andre Pruitt.

Honorary pallbearers will be trustees and stewards of the church.
