THOMSON -- Mrs. Ida Mae Williams, 71, died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at Providence Health Care.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Williams, a native of Warren County, was a member of Jones Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Grover Edward Bowdry and Joseph Bowdry, both of Thomson.

Friends may call at Crawford Mortuary.

GROVETOWN -- Mrs. Patsy Wilson, 60, of 103 Ford Ave., died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Allen Yarbrough officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Wilson, a native of Johnson City, Tenn., was a homemaker and had served as an elder at Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Wilson; two sons, Foyster Wilson, Harlem, and Ronny Wilson, Appling; one daughter, Vickie Avret, Grovetown; two brothers, Marion Barnett and Hyder Barnett, Johnson City; three sisters, Emmo Gene Taylor, Johnson City, Joyce Spann, Texas, and June Lyons, Elizabeth, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marshall McNulta, Kenny Williams, Don Elder, B.J. Hill, Jim Cook and Ron Osborn.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem.

TIGNALL, Ga. -- Mrs. Cynthia ``Cindy'' Evans Bohler, 44, of 7275 Danburg Road, died Friday, June 5, 1998, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Beulah Baptist Cemetery, Lincoln County, with the Revs. Jim Edwards and Dale Fincher officiating.

Mrs. Bohler, a native of Lincoln County, was a lifelong resident of the Beulah Community. She was a homemaker and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Bohler; a son, Adam Bohler, Tignall; two daughters, Amy Bohler, Washington, and Ashley Bohler, Tignall; a brother, Toby Evans, Commerce; and two sisters, Robin E. Burdette, Calhoun Falls, S.C., and Susan E. Campbell, Tignall.

Pallbearers will be Billy Butler, Jerry Butler, Doug Evans, Wilbur Evans, William Wayne Evans, Henry McKittrick, Mike McKittrick and Tony McKittrick.

Friends may call at the residence of Billy Campbell, 1270 Gills Point Road.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton.

Mr. Thomas Clyde

Mr. Thomas Edward Clyde, 64, of 3468 Wrightsboro Road, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road, with the Revs. Robert Cook and Oscar Barrow officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Clyde, a native of Augusta, was a clerical worker with Dixie Riverside. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and Senior Friends of Columbia Augusta Medical Center.

The family said he was the best, most wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend that anyone could ever have.

Survivors include his wife, Ann P. Clyde; two daughters, Donna Christine Dawkins, Hephzibah, and Rhonda Borst, Augusta; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Saggus, Murl Snellgrove, Mike Palmer, Matthew Darr, Kenny Maddox and Sterling Reese.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Dixie Riverside.

Mr. Sylvester Collins

Mr. Sylvester Collins, 71, of 7020 Rance Perry Road, Appling, died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at his residence.

Mr. Collins, a native of Maxton, N.C., had retired as a painter.

Survivors include a son, Vester Collins, Blythe; two daughters, Peggy Best and Alice Erkens, both of Appling; three brothers, Joseph Collins, Roy Collins and Elijah Collins, all of Maxton; three sisters, Zelma Hackett, Agnes Britt and Emma Jane Collins, all of Lumberton, N.C.; and nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Thomas L. King Funeral Home, Martinez, is in charge of arrangements.

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mr. V.A. ``Randy'' Eddins, 53, of 707 Hammond Drive, died Friday, June 5, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Eddins, a native of Raleigh, N.C., was a pharmacist with Revco Drug Stores. He was a former member of Kappa Psi Fraternity, University of South Carolina, Columbia, a former volunteer emergency medical technician for the Denmark Rescue Squad and a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry J. Eddins; a daughter, Rebecca E. Marvin, Charleston; and his mother, Frances F. Eddins, North Augusta.

Pallbearers will be David Griffith, Mike Gibson, Ray May, Jimmy Lamb, Rudy Elwell, Troy Elwell, Randy Enloe and Frank Johnson.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Presbyterian Church, 1101 Carolina Ave., North Augusta, SC 29841; or to First Christian Church, 629 Greene St., Augusta, GA 30901.

SAVANNAH -- Mrs. Maggie Scott Gadson, 91, of 1352 Eisenhower Drive, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at Hospice Savannah Inc.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Rufus Miles officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Pond Cemetery, Newington.

Mrs. Gadson, a native of Bryan County, was a Board of Education retiree. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church, where she served as mother of the church.

Survivors include five sons, Ullyses Gadson, Newark, N.J., John Ellis Gadson, Hollywood, Fla., James Gadson, Milltown, N.Y., Earl Gadson, Trenton, N.J., and Telesys Gadson, Pompano Beach, Fla.; and three daughters, Geraldine Thomas, Newark, Wynonia German, Savannah, and Maggie Mae Ponder, Newington.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Sylvania Funeral Home, Sylvania.

Mrs. Hayes, a native of Barnwell County, was a former Greenville resident. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Greenville.

Mrs. McCorkle, a native of Warren County, had retired as a seamstress and was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, John T. McCorkle, Thomson; three daughters, Barbara M. Reese, Athens, Patricia M. Sprayberry, Covington, and Vivian M. Reese, Norwood; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jack Garrison, Benji Cranford, Jessee Reese, Jimmy Waller, Warren Adams Jr. and Ben Waller.
