Ms. Annette Yarbrough

Announcement dated June 19, 1998

WARRENTON, Ga. -- Ms. Annett Yarbrough, 34, of 1576 Mayfield Road, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at McDuffie County Hospital, Thomson.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Union Spring Baptist Church, Norwood, with the Rev. G.L. Avery officiating. Burial will be in Gospel Aid Society Cemetery.

Ms. Yarbrough, a native of Augusta, was a member of Union Spring Baptist Church and had attended Warren County schools.

The family said she was a loving, kind and sweet person and she loved her family very much.

Survivors include her husband, Angele McNair Sr.; one son, Angele McNair Jr., Warrenton; two daughters, Tiffany Cequal Yarbrough and Shayna McNair, both of Warrenton; her parents, Sadie and Henry Lewis Yarbrough, Warrenton; four brothers, Henry Lewis Yarbrough Jr. and Norsie Lee Yarbrough, both of Warrenton, Anthony Yarbrough, Atlanta, and Mark Heard, Thomson; four sisters, Shenequa Yarbrough, Cassandra Yarbrough and Gloria Mathis, all of Warrenton; and Janet Heath, Norwood.

Pallbearers will be members of her family.

Friends may call at the residence or at Dawson's Mortuary.

The family will receive friends following the funeral at the residence of Sadie and Henry Lewis Yarbrough.

Mrs. Elizabeth Nadolski

Retired nurse

AIKEN -- Mrs. Elizabeth R. Mitchell Nadolski, 81, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Westfield, Mass., with the Rev. Renee Butler officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Mrs. Nadolski, a native of Springfield, was a retired registered nurse from Bay State Medical Center, Springfield. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Edward Nadolski, Aiken, and John M. Nadolski, Chicago; one sister, Mary Mitchell, Conn., and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Sarah E. Nadolski Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Mr. Charles E. Schnur, Regional Director of Development, University of Notre Dame, 25 E. Washington St., Suite 1125, Chicago, IL 60602-1706.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Czelusniak Funeral Home.

Mr. Charles Munn

Retired iron worker

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mr. Charles F. Munn, 47, of 1214 West Ave., died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sunset Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ty Lockridge.

Mr. Munn, a native of Augusta, was a retired iron worker and a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta.

Survivors include one brother, Gary C. Munn, Winder.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of North Augusta, 602 Georgia Ave., North Augusta, SC 29841.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Rowland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kay McLain

Retired dental hygienist

FITZGERALD, Ga. -- Mrs. Kay McLain, 76, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Burch-Hudson Funeral Home with the Revs. Gerald Thomas and Gene Wilder officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. McLain, a native of Jonesboro, Ark., was a retired dental hygienist. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Rebekah Sunday School class.

Survivors include a son, Philip M. McLain, Evans; a daughter, Suzanne M. Boggus, Douglas; two brothers, William C. Ray, Sarasota, Fla., and Edward Ray of Niceville, Fla.; three sisters, Bobbie Jean Duke and Patsy R. Williams, both of Milledgeville, Jewell B. Prescott, Starkville, Miss.; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Blue-Gray Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1447, Fitzgerald, GA 31750.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. James McKie

Army veteran

AIKEN -- Mr. James McKie, 84, of 603 Carver Terrace, died Saturday, June 13, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, East Congregation, with William Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Jessamine Memorial Gardens.

Mr. McKie, a native of Aiken County, was an Army veteran of World War II and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille McKie; one son, Leroy Curry, New York; one brother, Jerry McKie, Arcadia, Fla.; one sister, Rose Lee Miller, Richmond, Va.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Willie Williams, Anthony Daniel, Greg Wilson, Warren Holmes, Jonathan Daniel and Sammie Wilson.

Friends may call at the residence of J.D. Tyler, 649 Pinecrest Ave., or at 2 p.m. today at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home and at noon Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Eddie Jackson

Retired Farmer

SARDIS, Ga. -- Mr. Eddie Jackson, of 716 B. North Hill St., died Friday, June 12, 1998, at the Burke County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Girard, with the Rev. Sidney Miniweather officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jackson, a native of Barnwell, S.C., was a retired farmer and a member of the Smith Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Jackson; two step-sons, Andre Ellison and Eric Ellison, both of Sardis; five daughters, Louise Stephens, Mary Johnson, Lula Mae Sheppard, all of Daytona Beach, Fla., Everleen Grant, Augusta, and Victoria Denise Williams, Sardis; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Roosevelt McCoy Sr., Stanley Walker, Russell Willingham, Antonio Williams, Carl Jones and Gene Williams.

The family will receive friends at the residence or at Phinazee and Son Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Darrell Jackson

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Darrell James Jackson, of 215 Hickory Place, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at University Hospital.

Survivors include his father, James R. ``Reggie'' Jackson, North Augusta; his mother, Layatta Bene Turner, North Augusta; two grandfathers, Ernest Turner and Freddie Jackson, both of North Augusta; two grandmothers, Vicki Turner and Rosa Jackson, both of North Augusta; one great-grandfather, Freddie Jackson Sr., Johnston; and his great-grandmother, Lillian H. Ryans, Edgefield.

Mr. Lewis Hughey

AIKEN -- Mr. Lewis C. Hughey, 75, of 3409 Seneca Ave., died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at George Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robbie Vance officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.

Mr. Hughey, a native of Easley, was retired after 35 years as an operator for DuPont. He served in the Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where he was a member of the Stairclimbers Sunday School class.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Vaughn Hughey, Aiken; a son, David H. Hughey, Barnwell; a daughter, Linda H. Blakeney, North Augusta; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be members of the Memorial Baptist Church Stairclimbers Sunday School class.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1003 Hammond Road, Aiken, SC 29803.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Leroy Garrett

Stock room employee

Mr. Leroy Willie Garrett, of 609 Sea Isle Drive, died Monday, June 15, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hopewell Baptist Church, Clarks Hill, S.C., with the Rev. Sam Middleton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Garrett, a native of Modoc, S.C., was retired from Kroger stores as a stock room employee. He served 14 years in the Navy. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church where he served on the usher board.

The family said, ``He was a wonderful brother and will be missed.''

Survivors include two sisters, Tommie B. Green and Georgia I. Garrett, both of Augusta.

Pallbearers will be Lester Collier Jr., Howard Seymore, Verdell Philpot, Benton Starks, James Crafton and James Seymore.

Friends may call at the residence or Dent's Funeral Home.

Mr. Ronald Ellison

PARKSVILLE, S.C. -- Mr. Ronald Dorn ``Red'' Ellison, 54, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Parksville Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Allen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ellison, a native of Parksville, was a pipe fitter and a member of the South Carolina National Guard. He was a member of the Parksville Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason of the Parksville Lodge, Jamil Shrine Temple and a 1962 graduate of McCormick High School.

Survivors include one son, James ``Jammie'' Ellison, Chester; his mother, Lucille Parks Ellison, Parksville; one brother, Graham ``Pepper'' Ellison, Martinez; a sister, Shirley E. Cartledge, Parksville, and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the church service today.

Strom Funeral Home, McCormick, is in charge of arrangements.
