MAYFIELD, Ga. -- Mrs. Mamie Lee Webb, 68, of 74 Ogeechee Estate, died Sunday, June 14, 1998, at Oconee Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Second Darien Baptist Church, Sparta, with the Rev. Joseph Macklin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Webb, a native of Baldwin County, was a homemaker and a member of the Second Darien Baptist Church.

Survivors include nine sons, Calvin Webb, Mayfield, Elbert Webb, Milledgeville, Otis Webb, Harlem, Donnie Webb and Randy Webb, both of Mayfield, Steven Webb, Virginia, Bobby Webb and Willie Webb, both of Sparta and Tommy Webb, Warrenton; one daughter, Hattie Mae Webb, Sparta; 32 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ingram Brothers Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jessie Williams

MILLEN, Ga. -- Mr. Jessie James Williams, 39, died Saturday, June 13, 1998.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. K.E. McNeal officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Williams, a native of Jenkins County, was employed by Rhodes Landscaping Co.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Williams, Twin City; two sons, Marcus Williams and Octavius Williams, both of Twin City; one daughter, Deadra Williams, Twin City; his parents, Blanche and Jessie Williams, Millen; four brothers, Joe Williams, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., David Williams, Twin City, and Bobbie Williams and Willie T. Williams, both of Millen; five sisters, Ruby Burke, Twin City, Rose Jenkins and Frankie Mae Williams, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Mattie McKinney, Garfield, and Blanche Williams, Millen.

Pallbearers will be Richard Sapp, Richard Daughtry, Rick Williams, Will Sapp, Jerry William and Bernard Akins.

James A. Kirkland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Mrs. Minnie Hughes Mills, 72, of 7509 North Ocean Blvd., died Thursday, June 18, 1998, in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Flowers Funeral Home, Henderson, N.C., with the Rev. Steve Stutts officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens.

Mrs. Mills, a native of Vance County, was a homemaker and a member of City Road United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Carlos L. Mills; two sons, Peter S. Mills, Norfolk, Va., and Bill C. Mills, Augusta; one daughter, Peggy M. Madden, Augusta; one sister, Bessie H. Nowell, Henderson; one brother, Stephen B. Hughes Jr., Portsmouth, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Ms. McGriff, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker and a member of Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Katherine McGriff and Michelle McGriff, both of Martinez; one brother, William G. Lewis III, Huntsville, Ala.; and one sister, Angela L. Lewis, Martinez.

Mrs. Dollie Lee Joyner, 87, died Friday, June 19, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street, with the Rev. Nevil Smith officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.

Mrs. Joyner, a native of Screven County, was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Edward Joyner and Charles Joyner; five daughters, Laurie Lenderman, Mae Nixon, Betty Chavous, Beatrice Hobbs and Frances Phillips.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Mixon, Clifford Beaudin, Ann Powell, Jeannie Bailey, Andy Joyner, Dennis English, Monica Chance and Renee Joyner.

SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mrs. JoAnn M. Johnson, 43, of 123 Clark Circle, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the True Love Tabernacle Deliverance Center with the Rev. David Arnett officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Branch Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Screven County, was a home health care provider. She was a member of True Love Tabernacle Deliverance Center, where she was a Bible study teacher, and a member of the prayer team and the adult choir.

Survivors include one son, Craig L. McCall, Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter, Stephany F. Tisby, Sylvania; one step-daughter, Undreia Johnson, Augusta; four brothers, Edward McCall, Fred McCall and Lemon McCall, all of Sylvania, and Frank McCall, Jacksonville; four sisters, Gussie Lee McCall, Sylvania, Lillian McCall, Elouise McCall and Ola McCall, all of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren, and one step-grandchild.

Mr. Jerome Gibson

Mr. Jerome Gibson, 47, of 2839 Royal St., died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

Mr. Gibson was a native of Augusta.

Mr. Fleming Gibson

Mr. Fleming Gibson died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cobb Grove Baptist Church, Harlem, with the Rev. William Black officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Gibson, a native of Columbia County, had retired from Boral Brick Co. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Cobb Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.

Survivors include one son, Kelvin Gibson, Augusta; four daughters, Pamela Wright, Hephzibah, Peggy Boler, Egg Harbor, N.J., and Patricia Leverette and Paula Smith, both of Augusta; two brothers, Johnny Gibson, Thomson, Daniel Gibson, Harlem; one sister, Lizzie Overstreet, Augusta; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Wright, Athel Leverette, Orlanda Wright, Richard Boler, Raymond Smith and Elry Wright.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Milton Brooks Faulk, 55, of 2249 Vinson Highway, died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at the Georgia War Veterans Home.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Magnolia Baptist Church, Gibson, with the Revs. Gary Hillman and Billy Duggan officiating.

Mr. Faulk, a native of Richmond County, was an instrumentation technologist. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a volunteer at the Maranatha Mission for the Homeless.

Survivors include one son, Williams Brooks Faulk, Statesboro; and nine brothers.

Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Brenda Largen, 10203 Campground Road, Matthews.

LEXINGTON, S.C. -- Mr. William ``Billy'' Cromer Attaway, 63, of 107 Crepe Myrtle Circle died Friday, June 19, 1998, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Attaway, a native of Saluda County, was a retired Air Force veteran. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Mae Motes Attaway; one son, Michael Attaway, Columbia; two daughters, Tammy Fossell, Lexington, and Debra Lancto, Brandon, Fla.; his mother, Elease Cromer Attaway Webb, Saluda; his step-father, William Webb, Saluda; one sister, Jean A. Rikard, Saluda; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Charles Albea

TIGNALL, Ga. -- Mr. Charles W. Albea, 81, of 480 S. Hulin Ave., died Thursday, June 19, 1998, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Revs. Skip Padgett and Wade Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Albea, a native of Tignall, was a retired textile worker and a member of Beulah Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was a former mason and served in the Civilian Conservation Camp.

Survivors include three sons, Leland Albea and Darryl Albea, both of Tignall, and Clint Albea, Washington; one daughter, Phyllis Reese, North Augusta; one brother, Kenneth H. Albea, Forest Park; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Reid, Mike Albea, Gene Heard, Billy Butler, Carl Bailey Jr., and Jerry Butler.
