VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Mrs. Georgia Durham Watson Craven, 92, died Monday, June 15, 1998, at the Porter Memorial Hospital.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Old City Cemetery, Thomson, Ga.

Mrs. Craven, a native of Thomson, Ga., was a graduate of the National Cathedral School for Girls, Washington, and Agnes Scott College, Decatur, Ga. She had retired as a lecturer at the Chicago Art Institute.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Jean Craven Mickey; and two step-grandchildren.

Curtis Funeral Home, Thomson, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dorothy Coffee

McCORMICK, S.C. -- Mrs. Dorothy ``Dot'' Rowe Coffee, 67, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998 at Edgefield County Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Overbrook Cemetery.

Mrs. Coffee, a native of Greenwood County, was a retired newspaper carrier for The Augusta Chronicle and The Greenville News. She was a driver for the Department of Social Services and member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Thomas Coffee, Cross, and Ricky Wyman Coffee, McCormick; three daughters, Renae A. Richey, Seneca, and Joyce Nelson and Helen Dailey, both of Goosecreek; two brothers, Thomas Rowe and Donald Rowe, both of Clinton; and 34 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Strom Funeral Home.

GREENSBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Nancy Underwood Cannon, 75, of 2700 Penfield Road, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Penfield Cemetery with the Rev. Ford G'Segner officiating.

Mrs. Cannon, a native of Greene County, was owner and operator of Cannon's Dairy.

SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mr. Grover W. ``Buck'' Bragg Jr., 83, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Heritage Inn, Statesboro.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Faith Temple Holiness Church with the Rev. Earl Holcombe officiating. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Bragg, a native of Bulloch County, was a farmer and a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Gary Bragg, Sylvania; one daughter, Sandra B. Garrison, Columbia; two brothers, Stanley Bragg, Guyton, and Stafford Bragg, Bluffton, S.C., and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.

Friends may call at Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

WARRENTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Annie B. Tucker, of 3350 Ansley Road, Southwest, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Augusta Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Jewell, with the Rev. R.L. Davenport officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Tucker, a native of Hancock County, was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lewis Tucker and Louie Tucker Jr., both of Warrenton; three daughters, Dorothy T. Kendrick, Warrenton, Gladys T. Bradshaw, Dearing, and Rubenia T. Gillom, Harlem; three sisters, Gladys Strother, Sparta, Lillian Leslie and Cornelia Fowler, both of Columbus, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Richard L. Tucker, Hervest W. Tucker, Timothy Tucker, Mathew Tucker, John W. Kendrick and Kevin Tucker.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Turner, a native of Chicago, was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday School superintendent. He was also a member of Young Men of Honor.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Mitchell Turner; four sons, Leroy Turner, Edgefield, Willie Turner, Trenton, Robert Turner Jr., Ridge Spring, and Calvin Turner, Sumter; four daughters, Dorothy T. Dunn and Martha T. Williams, both of Augusta, Mary T. Brightharp, Trenton, and Elizabeth T. Wheeler, Florence; six brothers, Albert Turner, James Lovett, Jesse Lovett, Yance Mance, Isaac Mance, Trenton, and Jessie Mance, Edgefield; three sisters, Easter M. Drumming, Aiken, Mary Williams and Enda Mance, Trenton; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jeffery Welch

DEARING -- Jeffery Welch, 14, of 5779 Luckeys Bridge Road, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at McDuffie County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Curtis Funeral Home, Thomson, with the Rev. Randy Crawford, Bob Howard and Bill Curry officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.

Jeffery was a native of Richmond County and a graduate of Thomson Middle School. He was recently named to the 14 to 16-year-old All-Star Team at the Thomson-McDuffie Recreation Department.

The family said he loved life.

Survivors include his mother, Carol Welch; two brothers, Phillip Welch and Dustin Welch, both of Dearing; two sisters, Tiffany Welch and Ariel Welch, both of Dearing; his paternal grandmother, Willie Mae Miles, Harlem, and his maternal grandparents, James Neal and Frances Neal, Augusta.

BELVEDERE, S.C. -- Mrs. Oneta S. Whitt, 77, of 605 Ashley Circle, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. John Meyer, J. Lloyd Prince and Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta.

Mrs. Whitt, a native of Greenville County, was retired from King Mill. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was in the Garden Age Group and a member of the Senior Friends of Humana.

Survivors include two sons, James W. Whitt, Belvedere, and Steve A. Whitt, North Augusta; two brothers, Amos L. Slatten, Donalds, and Willie E. Slatten, Honea Path; one sister, Barbara S. Davis, Honea Path; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Golden Age Club.

Mr. Floyd Wimberly

TWIN CITY, Ga. -- Mr. Floyd E. Wimberly, 72, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Candler County Hospital, Metter.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary with the Revs. Gene Sego and David Durden officiating. Burial will be in the Wimberly Family Cemetery, Twin City.

Mr. Wimberly, a native of Emanuel County, was a retired farmer and a temporary mail carrier. He was a 1944 graduate of Emanuel County Institute, a member of the Olifftown Hunting Club and the Twin City First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dolly F. Newsome; one daughter, Donna W. Allmond, Twin City, and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Loy D. Cowart, Bruce Kitchens, Bobby Edenfield, Jimmy Donaldson, Ronnie Newham, Clark Dixon and J.W. Walden.

TRENTON, S.C. -- Mr. Clarence Albert Storey, 66, of 8 Storey Hill Drive, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Anna Maria Nursing Home, North Augusta.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Aiken Memorial Park, with the Rev. John L. Arthur officiating.

Mr. Storey, a native of Saluda County, was retired from the Navy Reserve. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10601.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Corley Storey; five brothers, Harold T. Storey, Raymond L. Storey, Vernon R. Storey, William F. ``Billy'' Storey, all of Trenton, and Jessie C. ``Buddy'' Storey, Beech Island; two sisters, Nellie Katherine ``Kathy'' Baughman, Batesburg, and Mary Elizabeth Couch, Ladson.
