LaVern H. `Skeeter' Hahn, Jr., 51, Long Grove, Iowa, died Monday, April 16, 2001, at his mother's home.
Memorial services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Sass Funeral Home, Eldridge, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m.
He was born April 26, 1949.
Survivors are his son, Chas Hahn, Long Grove; mother and stepfather, Pat and Jim Quick, Long Grove; stepmother, Jan Hahn, Maquoketa; sisters, Denise ``Red" Hahn, Long Grove, Paula Hahn, Davenport; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Virginia Hahn, Moline; half-sister, Rhonda Hahn, Maquoketa; half-brother, Randy Hahn, Seattle, Wash.
Antoinette `Toni' Hartmann
Antoinette ``Toni" Hartmann, 83, Davenport, died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Genesis West, Davenport.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial is in Holy Family cemetery , Davenport. Visitation is 4 to 6 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport, with prayers at 5:30.
She was born Oct. 8, 1917, in Davenport to Alban and Anna Reimann Hartmann.
She loved to cook and was very talented in the kitchen.
Survivors include many friends and special caregivers, including Phillip and Carol Gehrmann, Bettendorf.
Margaret Thompson
Margaret Thompson, 88, formerly of Tipton, Iowa, and Davenport, died April 14, 2001, in Arlington Heights.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic, Davenport. Burial is in Fairmount cemetery , Davenport. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries.
She married
Thomas Thompson in 1939 in Muscatine. He died in 1974.
Survivors include daughters, Loretta Altpeter, Arlington Heights, and Elaine Thompson, Chicago; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two sisters.

Services for Carole Renae Natwick, 57, Moline, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wildwood Baptist Church, 18717 Hubbard Road, East Moline. Burial will be in National cemetery , Rock Island.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wildwood Baptist Church Building Expansion Fund.

Carole Wallace was born Nov. 14, 1943, in Moline, the daughter of Norman and Marian (Larsen) Wallace. She married
Gary Natwick Sept. 15, 1962, in East Moline.
She worked at First Federal Savings and Loan, Moline, for 15 years and later worked for the Port Byron Savings Bank.
She enjoyed walking, camping, bicycling, sewing and making teddy bears. She was very active in her church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Gary, Moline; daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Gino Malfeo, North Riverside, Ill.; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Vicki Natwick, Milwaukee, Wis.; granddaughter, Ashley Kellums, Milwaukee; her mother, Marian Wallace, East Moline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Bill Slayton, Eustis, Fla., and Judy and Russ Upton, Holt, Mo.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Gretchen Wallace, East Moline.
Isabel `George' Thompson
Isabel ``George" Thompson, 80, Bettendorf, formerly of Moline, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at home.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's cemetery , East Moline.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
She was born July 25, 1920, in Kewanee, the daughter of Felix and Victoria Stontz. She married
Richard G. Thompson July 25, 1947, in East Moline. He died Aug. 6, 1961.
She was a domestic worker. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline, and enjoyed bingo and playing cards.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan K. Drobushevich, Rapids City; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lynne Thompson, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Rich Radford, Colorado, Jeff Radford, New York, Blu Drobushevich, Colorado, Brian Drobushevich, Iowa, and Kelly Thompson, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey and Jack; and brothers, Tom and Felix Stontz. A son, Terry, preceded her in death in 1959.
Bernard Farren
Bernard Gene Farren, 71, East Moline, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at home, with his loving family at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moline Gospel Temple Auditorium. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary, 1216 5th Ave., Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bernard was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Moline, the son of Loren C. and Anna L. Larson Farren. He married
Dorothy E. Bressler in East Peoria, Ill., on March 9, 1951.
Bernard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of East Moline American Legion Post 227.
Bernard retired in 1989 from Greyhound Bus Co. after 33 years of service.
Bernard was a member of Moline Gospel Temple, East Moline Moose Lodge, AARP and the Good Sam Club. He enjoyed woodworking, and he enjoyed building and remodeling homes for his family.
Bernard also enjoyed camping, traveling, working on cars, listening to music, and reading.
Bernard loved and was very committed to his family.
Survivors (and spouses) include his wife, Dorothy; children, Cynthia (William) Chance, Freeport, Ill., Russell (Joy) Farren, Hampton, and Cheryl Bohnsack, Bettendorf; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Larrison, Hampton, Ethel (Jerold) Dunblazier, East Moline, Beverly (Cliff) Metz, Morton, Ill., and Carolyne (Don) Franklin, Moline; brothers, Ronald (Bonnie) Farren, Davenport, and Earl (Kathy) Farren, Moline; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Loren Jr., a sister, Helen Roberts, and a nephew, Chad Farren.
Wayne Schumacher
Wayne L. Schumacher, 64, East Moline, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at home.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sullivan-Phillips Mortuary, East Moline, the Rev. Sally Hamon officiating. Services are informal; wear your jeans. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
He was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Marengo, Iowa, the son of Clarence E. and Hildred A. Scott Schumacher. He married

Kathy Graham in 1988.
Wayne graduated from United Township High School, East Moline.
Wayne began working at John Deere Harvester Works as an assembler March 4, 1957. He was elected union steward that November. He served as a trustee, committeeperson, chairman and president. He was appointed international representative in 1981, when he went on staff for United Auto Workers Region 4. He retired as subregional director of Region 4 on Jan. 31, 1995, and remained an active UAW member.
Wayne was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed his Harley motorcycle, drove stock cars, and enjoyed boating and fishing. He helped coach URICRA, youth baseball and soccer, and enjoyed other sports in the Riverdale School District.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Wayne L. Jr., East Moline, Mark A., East Moline, and Keenan M., at home; a daughter, Ryanne C., at home; his mother, Hildred, East Moline; a sister, Phyllis Willemkins, Colona; grandchildren, Christine, Bubba, Brittney, Summer, Daniel and Leaha; and great-grandchildren, Carly and Bailey.
John `Jack' Bauscher
John ``Jack" Bauscher, 71, of 304 S. Hall St., Morrison, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Morrison United Methodist Church, preceded by a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. at the church. Burial is in Grove Hill cemetery , Morrison.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Morrison. Memorials go to the American Diabetes Association or the church.
He was born in Freeport, Ill., to John and Evelyn Frank Bauscher. He married
Beverly Armstrong July 12, 1953, in Morrison.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Cindy Tiesman, Clinton, Iowa; son, John, Morrison; and five grandchildren. He was preceded by two grandsons and a sister, Helen Engelhardt.

Velira Dodds in 1937 in Rock Island.
Survivors include his wife, Velira; a son, Alan Jr., Davenport; and grandchildren, Jill Weitzel, Lee McDowell and Michael McDowell. He was preceded in death by a sisters and two brothers.
