Helen D. Fedrick, 65, of Davenport, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at her home.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time.

Further arrangements are pending.

Mary Feehan
Services for Sr. Mary Dolores Feehan, CHM, 93, Davenport, are 11 a.m. Monday at Humility of Mary Center, Davenport, with visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial is in Mt. Calvary cemetery .

She died Dec. 2, 2004, at Bishop Drumm Care Center, Johnston, Iowa. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport, is assisting.

Edna Mary Feehan was born Dec. 20, 1910, in Albia, Iowa. She took final vows at Humility of Mary in 1933.

Survivors are sister-in-law, Ann, Greensboro, N.C; brother-in-law, Tom Scieszenski, Albia; niece, Anne Feehan Gnat, Addison, Ill.; nephew, Jack, Wheaton, Ill.

Ella Hansen
Ella K. Hansen, 94, Margate, Fla., formerly Davenport, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Margate.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Maysville cemetery , Maysville, Iowa. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.

Ella was born Jan. 31, 1910, in Maysville, to George and Bertha Musal Harder. She married Harold M. Hansen in 1942, in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1979.

Survivors include the Harder, McAfee, Palmer, Potter, Jessen and Leuenhagen families. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers.

Willie Hall
Willie Lee Hall, 79, Rock Island, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.

Services are 11:45 p.m. Saturday at Carbon Cliff cemetery . Visitation will be 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island.

Willie was born March 31, 1925, in Benton, Ark. She married Mayfield Hall in 1953, in Rock Island.

She worked for many years at the Chinese Kitchen, Rock Island. Her interests included fishing, dancing and playing cards.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by three brothers.

Tiray Hickman
Funeral services for Tiray Eugene Hickman, 16, of Rock Island, will be noon Saturday at Gospel Mission Temple, 5074 North Pine St., Davenport, with Bishop Jimmie Horton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery , Davenport. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Orr's Mortuary, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

He departed this life Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.

He was born April 9, 1988, in Rock Island, the son of Sandra Gay and Earl Hickman III. He was a student at Rock Island High School and enjoyed basketball and dancing.

Survivors include his mother, Sandra Gay; sisters, Tynesha, LaShalle and LaShantae Hickman, Takia and Alexia Lloyd, Nakia Marshal; brothers, Earl IV, Mario and Chris Hickman and Antonio Lloyd; grandparents, Othel `Buck' and Betty Gay, Dale Rice, and great-grandmother, Rosie Lee Allen, all Rock Island.

His father, Earl Hickman III, preceded him in death.

Robert Hill Sr.
Robert 'Bob' L. Hill Sr., 81, formerly of Rock Island, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Central Point, Ore.

A memorial will take place at a later date.

He was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Rock Island, to Walter S. and Melda Rightenaur Hill. He attended Rock Island schools, and upon graduation, enlisted in the Army Air Corps. He married Marjorie 'Marj' Dunn in 1944. He went to England with the 8th Air Force and spent the last months of the war in a German POW camp.

Bob spent his working years in photography, technical illustration and aerospace computer engineering. His hobbies were gemology (he was a certified gemologist), lapidary, oil and watercolor, and he was an avid history buff. He served as curator of the Crater Rock Museum for 11 years.

He and Marj were parents of five children, Dannie Moore, Westminster, Colo., Robert Hill Jr., Amarillo, Texas, Fletcher Hill, La Veta, Colo., James Hill, Denver, Colo., and Megan Hill, Golden, Colo.

Besides his family, Mr. Hill is survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Hill, Rock Island; and sister, Janice Dierolf, Sherrard.

Dorothy Huey
Dorothy Huey, 100, formerly of Rock Island, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services. Further arrangements are pending.

Carl Rhode
Carl E. Rhode, 82, of Rock Island died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at his residence.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. at Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island, where he was a member. Burial will be at National cemetery . Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the church.

Carl was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Metcalf, Ill., the son of Cecil and Flora Loop Rhode. During World War II he was in the Navy. He was a ribbon maker at Regalia Manufacturing; prior to this he was with Midwest Carbonic, both of Rock Island. He enjoyed doing word puzzles and reading western novels.

Carl is survived by daughters (and spouses), Carla (Rev. Michael) Smith, Theodore, Ala., Cecilia Charlett, Kathy Sanders and Marcy (Steve) Hansen, all Rock Island, and Donna Rhode, Moline; sons, Donald (spouse Jackie) Rhode, Claremore, Okla., and Jeffrey Rhode, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen McNeese, Metcalf.

Carolyn Carlson Johnson
Carolyn Carlson Johnson, 81, of Dearborn, Mich., died Nov. 22, 2004, in Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn.

Memorial services were held at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, Mich. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, 529 Hendrie Blvd., Royal Oak, MI 48067.

Carolyn was born Nov. 12, 1923, in Moline, to Arthur David and Hazel Pearl Thornbloom Carlson. She graduated from Moline High School and Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. She married J. Frederic Johnson in December of 1947.

Surviving are her husband, Frederick; children and spouses, Ann and Roger Locniskar, Ellen Johnson, David and Sue Johnson, Paul and Linda Johnson; grandchildren, Jessica and Amanda Johnson; brothers, Wallace and Warren Carlson; and a sister, Marie Carlson Liljeberg. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Greta Carlson Sorensen.

Dorine Carr Magnuson
Dorine Carr Magnuson, 89, of Ringgold, Ga., formerly of Moline, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, in a Ringgold Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memory Gardens South, Rossville, Ga., with Bill Ottinger officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Mayo, Rick Peterson, Jeremy Shavers, Jarrod Smith, Daniel Clark and Cree Blile. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, Ft. Ogle, Ga.

A native of Dunkirk, Ind., Mrs. Magnuson spent most of her life in Moline before moving to Ringgold with her son in 1997. She was born Feb. 16, 1915, to Harry and Ruth Cunningham.

She retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Co. after 35 years of service, where she had served as operator, supervisor, instructor and employment assistant. She was a member of First Covenant Church, Moline, the Women's Circle 4, Moline Women's Club and Garden Department 6. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles G. and LaNell Carr, Ringgold; stepdaughter, Nancy Carius, Moline; sister, Mary Axt, Baxter, Minn.; grandson, Donald Carr, Panama City, Fla.; granddaughters, Christine Carr Owen, Nixa, Mo., Harriett Creech, Fayetteville, N.C., Sherry Mayo and Deborah Peterson, both Chattanooga, Tenn.; step-grandchildren, Mark and John Carius, and Melinda Parrish, all Moline; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles D. Carr; second husband, Ollie Magnuson; son, Duane M. Carr; and sister, Beatrice Ludwick.

Raymond Nees
Raymond A. Nees, 75, of Moline died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline. Inurnment will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Shelter.

Raymond was born May 30, 1929, to Ralph and Myrtle Brown Nees, in New London, Iowa. He was employed at the Conrad Grain Bin Co. in Hillsbrough, Iowa, for 10 years, retiring in 1990. Prior to that he worked at Farmall Works, Rock Island. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include sons, Raymond Nees Jr., Louisville, Ky., Raymond Nees, Moline; brother, Bill Nees, New Jersey; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother and a brother, Robert Nees.

Evelyn Stevenson
Evelyn M. Stevenson, 78, Moline, died Tuesday Nov. 30, 2004, at home with family after a courageous fight with cancer.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Burial will be in National cemetery , Arsenal Island. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, with a Christian Wake Service at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Pius Church or Pathway Hospice.

Evelyn Marie Reuter was born Oct. 1, 1926, at home in rural Coal City, Ill., the second daughter of Paul and Fannie Small Reuter. She married John R. Stevenson on Feb. 16, 1952, in Morris, Ill.

Evelyn was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and friend. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, and was a lifelong die-hard Cubs fan. She was also an avid card and letter writer, an unbeatable cook and an impeccable homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, John; daughter and special friend, Ronda J. Hulbert and Gil Casillas, Moline; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Cindy Stevenson, Moline, and Ron and Teri Stevenson, Coal Valley; grandchildren, Angie, Adam, Eric, Sarah, Alex and Kelsi; sisters, Anna Mae Leach, Mazon, Ill., and Helen Barra, Coal City; and a brother, Bill Reuter, also of Coal City. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; a younger brother, Johnny; and a infant sister, Ruth Ann.

Evelyn was loved by all who knew her. She will be always remembered and deeply missed.

James Bryan
James E. Bryan, 86, Brookfield, Mo., formerly of Galva, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Mo.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services with military honors are 2 p.m. Saturday at Galva cemetery . There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Galva. Arrangements are by Rux, Galva.

He was born Nov. 8, 1918, in Toulon, Ill., to Frank and Sarah Kamerer Bryan. He married Inez M. Doud April 2, 1966, in Na Shua, Iowa. She died Dec. 25, 1989.

Surviving are his stepchildren, Dennis Stephan, Galva, Bonnie Nash, Lee's Summit, Mo., and Michael Doud; nephews, Jack Cordray, Brookfield, James Cordray, Clinton, Mo.; five step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Chandler
Dorothy M. Chandler, 84, of Prophetstown died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, Ill.

Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Prophetstown United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Riverside cemetery , Prophetstown. There is no visitation. Arrangements are by Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Prophetstown.

Dorothy was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Morrison, daughter of Benjamin and Nellie Diephuis. She married Tom Frederick. She later married Lester 'Bud' Chandler on Sept. 17, 1946, in Morrison. He died in 1993.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Frederick and Lonnie Chandler, both of Prophetstown; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Juan Correa
Juan G. Correa, 74, of Colona died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at his home.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, where further arrangements are pending.

Marilyn Hamilton
Marilyn Fisher Hamilton, 81, Kewanee, died Nov. 30, 2004, at Kewanee Care Home.

Private family services are at a later date. There is no visitation. Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, is handling arrangements.

Marilyn was born in Harrisburg, Ill., Oct. 15, 1923, to Carl and Ferris Fearheiley Fisher. She married Milton Hamilton Feb. 15, 1944, in Camp Forest, Tenn.

Surviving are her husband; sons, Rick Hamilton, East Moline, and Timothy Hamilton, Kewanee; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Alice Krumtinger, Cambridge.

Lynnette Keim
Lynnette M. Keim, 48, of Annawan died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Kewanee. The Rev. Susan Kent will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery , Geneseo. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Vandemore Funeral Home, Atkinson. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Bell and Church Choirs or the Annawan/Alba Rescue Squad.

Lynn was born Dec. 29, 1955, in Geneseo, the daughter of Marvin and Rosemary Resser Keim. She was a 1974 graduate of Annawan High School; she later graduated from Black Hawk College and Northern Illinois University with a degree in finance. Lynn had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for over 20 years as a computer analyst. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Kewanee, the Bell and Church Choirs of the Church; she also was an avid photographer of all the Annawan High School sporting events.

Survivors include her mother, Rosemary Keim, Annawan; sister and spouse, Valerie and Walter DePoorter, Moline; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Keim.
