HOWARD ROBINSON
Howard Robinson was born July 31, 1925 to Blaine and Corine Robinson near Conway, Iowa and passed away June 2, 2001 in Tucson, Arizona. He grew up in Clearfield, Iowa and went through school there.
Howard was united in marriage to Betty Hobbs on March 8, 1950. Two children were born to this union, Robert Lee and Micheal Blaine.
Survivors include wife Betty of Alaska; sons Bob Robinson and wife Valerie, Mike Robinson and Rene of Alaska; sister Pauline Cunningham of Arizona; brothers Floyd Robinson of Arizona and Lloyd Robinson and wife Loretta of Texas.
Howard's ashes will be scattered in Alaska.
GERALDINE N. WEAVER
Geraldine N. Weaver, 90, of Blockton, Iowa, died Sunday, June 24, 2001 at Clearview Nursing Home in Clearfield, Iowa.
Geraldine was born May 31, 1911 in Taylor county, Iowa the daughter of Clyde and Martha (Idleman) Hays. She was a lifelong resident of Blockton.
In September of 1953, Geraldine married Raymond Weaver. She worked as a practical nurse in private homes.
Geraldine was a member of the Blockton Christian Church, Blockton.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clyde and Martha Hays; her first husband Paul Myers; her second husband Ernest Jennings; and her third husband Raymond Weaver; sons, Ed Jennings and infant Gerald Jennings; and one brother Gene Hays.
Survivors include sons, Paul (Bill) Myers of Blockton and Francis Marion Jennings of Blockton; stepdaughter Phyllis Ballenger of Columbus, Nebraska; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2001 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City, Missouri.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2001 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City.
Burial will be in the Platte River Cemetery , Maloy, Iowa.
MELISSA KAYE CLYMER
Melissa Kaye Clymer was born March 28, 1966 in Muscatine, Iowa, to Arvid "Bo" and Judith (Townsend) Clymer. Missy died on May 29, 2001, in Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of 35 years.
Missy grew up in Tingley, Iowa, graduating from Mount Ayr Community high school in 1986 and attended nurses' training for one year. She moved to Lenox, Iowa in 1991 and had lived in Charlotte for the past two years. Missy was employed as a convenience store manager.
While growing up in Tingley, Missy loved to go to Sunday school at the Tingley Christian Church and was a member there. She loved being outdoors, helping her dad do chores and taking her Mom and boys fishing. She loved to draw and paint, designing shirts for the boys. She was full of love for others and gave of herself however she could.
Missy was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors include her parents, Bo and Judy Clymer of Tingley; two sons, Bradley and Mitchell Clymer of Tingley; a daughter, Britney Marshall of Lenox; three brothers, Bob and his wife Kelli Clymer of Prairie City, Iowa, Eric and his wife Monica Clymer of Mount Ayr, and Jerry and his wife Beth Weikert of Muscatine; two sisters, Terri Chafa of Orlando, Florida and Beth Kenny of Des Moines, Iowa; four nieces and five nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2, 2001 at the Christian Church in Tingley with Reverend Eydie Stephens officiating. Musicians were Eloise Brown, Mary Trullinger and Margaret Bickers. Casket bearers were Richie Palmer, Richard Palmer, Ed Sobotka, Jeff Collier, Hub Bradley and Charles Case.
Melissa was laid to rest in the Tingley Cemetery , Tingley.

REVEREND FRANK MUELLER, SR.
Reverend Frank Birdette Mueller, Sr., age 65, of Decatur, Iowa, son of Mae Pickering, was born January 18, 1936 in Hastings, Iowa, and died June 1, 2001 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
When Frank was a baby, he was adopted and raised by Frank and Etta Bailey in Red Oak, Iowa. When Frank was about nine years old, Frank Bailey died. Etta then married Truman Mueller who adopted Frank and continued to help raise him with Etta in Walnut, Iowa.
Frank grew up in Iowa. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and then in the Iowa National Guard.
Frank married Marge Maas, and to this union two daughters, Debra and Re Nae, were born. On June 5, 1970 Frank married Janet Charleene Ades in Omaha, Nebraska. To this union two children were born, Frank Jr. and Re Gina.
Frank drove a semi as an over-the-road trucker. Frank started in the ministry in 1971 and pastored his first church in McClelland, Iowa. In 1978 Frank became a full time minister. He and his family moved to Decatur in 1982 for Frank to pastor a church there. Frank and Jan continued to make their home in Decatur.
In 1986 Frank and Jan started the New Life Gospel Church in Lamoni, Iowa. Frank pastored there until 1994. He and Jan then began the Otterbein Full Gospel Church near Eagleville, Missouri. Frank was licensed by Bible Way of Doniphan, Missouri.
Frank loved old cars and collected many die-cast metal models. He enjoyed going to car shows. Frank also liked fishing, and he fished with his family while his kids were growing up. He was a big Nebraska Corn Huskers fan.
Frank was a "people person" who was well-known, outgoing and jolly. He would do anything for anyone, and Frank was a good dad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Bailey, Etta Mueller, Truman Mueller and Roland Freeman; and his brother Merle Pickering.
Frank is survived by his wife Jan Mueller of Decatur; his children, Debra Wright of Gilbert, Iowa, Re Nae Bartenhagen of Corning, Iowa, Frank Mueller, Jr. and wife Catherine of Mount Ayr, Iowa, and Re Gina Sanchez and husband Erick of Mount Ayr; seven grandchildren, Nancy Sheriff, Charles Wright and wife Crystal, Christopher Wright, Andrew Bartenhagen, Audra Bartenhagen, Micheala Mueller and Alan Sanchez; three great-grandchildren, Johnathan Sheriff, Jordan Wright and Alexis Wright; mother Mae Freeman of Red Oak; and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 4, 2001 at Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa with Reverend Dale Short officiating.
Burial was in Decatur Cemetery , Decatur.
THOMAS MICHAEL SEIFFERT
Thomas Michael Seiffert, 53, of Redding, Iowa, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, after suffering a massive heart attack.
Tom was born August 15, 1947, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Henry and Barbara Seiffert. He grew up in the Blockton and Bedford, Iowa area, graduating in May 1965 from Bedford Community high schol. He moved from Denver, Colorado to Redding in 1998 to provide care for his mother during her final illness. Tom worked in retail sales and was employed at the Community Meat Processors in Mount Ayr, Iowa at the time of his death.
Tom had a deep love for horses which gave him many hours of pleasure. As a young man, he enjoyed participating in rodeo and racing events. His latest hobby was trail riding, an outing he often shared with his family and friends. He was an active member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Henry "Hank" Seiffert and Barbara Thomas Seiffert; and by his sister Ila Kathleen "Kay" Thummel.
He is survived by Scott Miringoff of the home. Other survivors include his daughter Carly Michelle Seiffert of Overland Park, Kansas; his son Allen Michael Seiffert of Overland Park, Kansas; and his aunt Kathleen Freed of Redding.
Tom was a wonderful father, nephew, uncle and friend. Although he will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends, the memories and love he shared will always be treasured.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 6, 2001 at Frontier Hall in Redding with Reverend Mike Polo officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Paula Stalbaum, Patricia Maudlin, David Maudlin, Merritt Triggs, Peter Hayse and Preston Hayse.
Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church, Redding.

LYLE RAYMOND TODD
Lyle R. Todd was born November 1, 1925 near Tingley, Iowa to Clemmet and Lora (Hagerman) Todd. Lyle passed away on June 5, 2001 at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center at the age of 75 years.
Lyle grew up around Diagonal, Iowa and attended schools in the area.
On May 28, 1950, he was united in marriage to Doris Martin. The couple celebrated 51 years of marriage and to this union three children were born, A. Raymond, Roger and Lois.
They worked for farmers and in 1960 started farming east of Tingley. He went to work for Ringgold County Road Maintenance for a few years until health failed him. He entered the Mount Ayr Health Care Center on February 5, 1999.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Forest and Vernon Todd; three sisters-in-law, Mildred, Helen and Nina Todd.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife Doris of Mount Ayr; children, Raymond Todd and wife Letha of Cassville, Missouri, Roger Todd and wife Jeanette of Maloy, Iowa and Lois England of Tingley; four grandchildren, Jacob and Stephanie Todd and Pamela and Christine England; seven step-grandchildren; brothers, Elbert Todd of Baird, TX and James Todd and wife Violet of Creston, Iowa; sisters, Mildred Peterson and husband Clifford of Murray, Iowa and Marjorie Perkins and husband Glenn of Grimes, Iowa; brothers-in-law, Robert Martin and wife Verna and Howard Martin and wife Shirley, all of Mount Ayr; sister-in-law, Mary Harris and husband James of Grand River, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday June 9, 2001, at Wilson-Watson & Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr with Reverend Jeff Flagg conducting the service. Musicians are Nancy Sackett, Mary Trullinger and Margaret Bickers. Casket bearers are Robert Todd, Myron Tilt, Darren Martin, Joe Peterson, Lee Martin and Robert Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Priest, Willis Newby and Gary Roudybush.
Lyle will be laid to rest in the Tingley Cemetery , Tingley.
PEARL JUNE WARIN
Pearl June (Matthews) was born June 13, 1907 in Tabor, Iowa, the first child and daughter of Eugene and Nora (Buckingham) Matthews. Pearl, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Memorial Day, May 28, 2001 at the age of 93 years.
Pearl grew up in Tabor with her sister Mabel and four brothers, Dave, Maurice, Earl and Dale. She attended Iowa State University and was a teacher at Mount Ayr high school when she met her future husband, Emmet R. Warin. They were united in marriage on June 5, 1938, at St. Patrick's Church in Imogene, Iowa.
They stayed in Mount Ayr where Emmet was an attorney and were blessed with two sons, Mike and Bill. Pearl assisted Emmet with income tax work for many years. She was an avid bridge player, liked to collect and refinish antique furniture, quilted numerous quilts and liked to attend bingo nights. She still did many of these things up until her passing and had a mind as sharp as a tack.
She is survived by her oldest son, Michael; daughters-in-law, Deanna (Taylor) Warin and Ann (Watson) Warin; grandchildren, Mike and Michelle Warin of Pella, Iowa, Joe and Donna Warin of Clearfield, Iowa, Stephanie and Brad Butler of Scottsdale, Arizona, Amy and Scott Haney of Mesa, Arizona, Jennifer and TJ Casey of Mesa; six great-grandchildren; a sister Mabel Georgesen of Evansville, Indiana; and brother Dale and wife Clara Jane Matthews of Shenandoah, Iowa.
Pearl loved her family dearly and was a constant inspiration due to all she was able to accomplish. She made many creative birthday cakes for her grandchildren and taught them all to play the card game, Kings on the Corner.
Preceding Pearl in death were her husband Emmet Warin; her youngest son Bill; and three brothers, Dave, Maurice and Earl.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 1, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mount Ayr with Father Thomas Dooley officiating. Lectors were Michelle Warin and Amy Haney. Gift bearers were Donna Warin, Stephanie Butler and Jennifer Casey. Nancy Sackett and Judy Cunning were musicians. Casket bearers were Michael R. Warin, Joe Warin, Brad Butler, Scott Haney, TJ Casey and David Georgesen.
Pearl was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery , Mount Ayr.
HAZEL WAIVE WEHRLE
Hazel Waive Wehrle, youngest daughter of Edwin and Luella (Boothe) Cole, was born April 7, 1909 near Eagleville, Missouri, and passed away May 30, 2001 at the Clearview Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
The family moved to a farm near Mount Ayr in 1922. She graduated from the Mount Ayr high school in 1927.
She joined the Liberty Methodist Church at an early age then later transferred to the United Methodist Church in Mount Ayr.
On April 14, 1928 she was united in marriage to Frank Wehrle at Leon, Iowa. They farmed in Ringgold, Taylor and Montgomery counties. Frank and Waive moved to Heritage Park Apartments in 1978. Frank passed away August 19, 1986.
Waive was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Kenneth, Keith and Ora Cole; and a sister Irene Ferber.
She is survived by her sister Nona Huggins of Mount Ayr; nephews, Walter and wife Ellen Huggins of Kansas City, Missouri and John and wife Juanita Sickels of Mount Ayr; along with other nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 1, 2001 at Wilson-Watson & Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr with Reverend Michael Druhl officiating. Musicians were Nancy Sackett, Mary Trullinger and Margaret Bickers. Casket bearers were Lesa Saville, Joe Saville, Garrett Reynolds, Diane Huntsman, Baylee Stull and Lora Stull.
Waive was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery , Mount Ayr.
