Warren G. Fritz, 77, of Burlington died at 10:55 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2006, at Peoria Manor in Peoria, Illinois.
Born November 19, 1928 in Des Moines County, he was the son of George and Florence Schwenker Fritz. On November 6, 1953 he married Martha Thompson in Burlington.
Mr. Fritz was a 1946 graduate of Burlington High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving from 1951 until 1953 as a private first class.
Mr. Fritz was a farmer and worked at J.I. Case Company from 1974 until 1971. After his retirement he owned and operated Fritz’s Odd Jobs. From high school graduation until 1973 he helped in his father’s hatchery and delivered eggs for him.
He was a member of Farm Bureau and loved taking pictures and watching his grandsons play baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Fritz of Burlington; three daughters, Linda Cline and Cindy Gooch both of Burlington, and Kathy Carter of Des Moines; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
One daughter, one son, his parents, and one sister preceded him in death.
A memorial has been established.
James "Jim" Louis Fullenkamp

James “Jim” Louis Fullenkamp, 67, of Burlington died at 4:00 AM Saturday, February 4, 2006 at his home after an extended illness.
Born August 12, 1938 in West Point, Iowa, he was the son of Francis D. and Lola D. Stewart Fullenkamp. On June 21, 1959 Jim married Carolyn Ann Hester in Burlington.
Mr. Fullenkamp graduated from Burlington High School. He worked for Case Company for a time, owned a Owens Gas Station and was Assistant Manager at Mid-Continent Bottlers for 25 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Camera Club, Candlewick Antique Club and loved photography and woodworking, especially building furniture.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Fullenkamp of Burlington; two daughters, Stacey E. Scheitlin of Burlington and Stephanie (Erik) A. Bullinger of Sperry; four grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Scheitlin and Laine and Lily Bullinger; three sisters Joan (Arthur) M. Wunnenberg of Mediapolis, Janice (Mark) Hagerla and Geraldine A. Webb of West Burlington; one brother, Michael Fullenkamp of Burlington; and nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
A memorial for the Great River Hospice has been established.

Ted Walker Fulton, 50, of Sanger, Texas and formerly of Grandview, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas.
Born December 25, 1955 in Burlington, he was the son of William Manning and Edith Marian Walker Fulton. On May 2, 1987 he married Mary Pratt in Brenham, Texas.
Mr. Fulton was a 1974 graduate of Stanzel Christian High School in Greenfield, Iowa. He worked in management in the telecommunications industry. He was a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics and enjoyed building flying radio-controlled airplanes with his son.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Fulton of Sanger; one son, Robert Fulton of Sanger; one daughter, Dana Sanders of Franklin, Texas; one grandson, Matthew Sanders of Franklin, Texas; his mother, Edith Fulton of St. James, Missouri; three brothers, William M. Fulton, Jr. and Thomas V. Fulton both of Indianapolis, Indiana and Robert K. Fulton of Peculiar, Missouri; and three sisters, Jane M. Mannel of Fort Collins Colorado, Janice E. Anderson of Pine Bluff, Wyoming, and Jeanette E. Fulton of St. James, Missouri.
His father preceded him in death.

Ronald Gene Gabrilska, Jr., 28 of Aledo, Illinois, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in West Burlington.
Born June 16, 1977 in Sioux City, Iowa he was the son of Ronald Gene and Catherine Sue Munson Gabrilska, Sr.
Mr. Gabrilska was a truck driver for Blackhawk Freight Company. He was a graduate of Westmar High School in Joy, Illinois.
Survivors include, one brother, Louis J. Clark Sr. of Valdez , Alaska; five nephews; four nieces; aunts, uncles and cousins.
His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Ralph G. “Ralphie” Gard, 62, of West Burlington died at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Great River Medical Center.
Born March 13, 1944 in Maryville, Missouri, he was the son of Glen and Marie Sleeth Gard. On June 1, 1968 he married Sharon C. Bednar.
He was a graduate of Villisca High School, Villisca, Iowa. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam serving as a corporal. He trained sentry dogs.
Mr. Gard was a member of SS Mary and Patrick Catholic Church in West Burlington and Mended Hearts Club, and a past member of V.F.W. and Moose. He enjoyed Country and Western music, camping, fishing, horseshoes, wrestling and playing Pitch and Euchre. He liked to hang out at the Hungry Bear and was a John Wayne fan.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon C. Gard of West Burlington; one son, Michael John Gard of West Burlington; one brother, Paul Ray Gard of New Jersey; nieces; and nephews.
His parents, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
A memorial has been established for SE Iowa Dialysis Center of Great River Medical Center.
Juanita Mae Garlow

Juanita Mae Garlow, 70, of Burlington, Iowa, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at her residence.
Born June 30, 1936 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Floyd and Adelaide Asher Schmitz, Sr. On February 7, 1960 she married Barry Garlow. He died February 2, 1999.
Mrs. Garlow was a Burlington High School graduate and worked at Newsland and Winegard.
Survivors include two sons Scott (Jean) Garlow of Shokokon Acres, Illinois and Brian Thane Garlow of Burlington; one daughter, April Ross of Texas; six grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Schmitz, Jr. of Burlington and Randy Schmitz of Oklahoma; and one sister, Sarah Goff of Oklahoma.
Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
