OSAGE - Richard Colbertson, 55, of Osage, died Saturday (March 13, 1999) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Osage, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson, the Rev. Roy Ott and the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.

AURORA, Ill. - Arlene E. Charlson, 68, of Aurora, Ill, formerly of Lake Mills, died Sunday (March 14, 1999) at her home in Aurora.

DAISY JOHANNS
NEW HAVEN - Daisy Johanns, 88, of New Haven, died Monday (March 15, 1999) at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn. She was born Aug. 4, 1910, in Worth County, the daughter of Frank and Marie (Vikturek) Fitzel. Daisy was educated in rural schools, attended Osage High School and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Mason City.
She married Herb Johanns Sr. on July 2, 1929, in Manly. They lived and farmed east of New Haven all their married life. Herb Johanns Sr. died Oct. 16, 1961.
She served on the school board of St. Mary's School in New Haven for many years. Daisy was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
She is survived by daughter Ruth Jahnel and husband, Bob, of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and their children, Russell Jahnel, Cindy Lacy and husband, Bob, and their children, Kristian and Rachel; daughter Sally Fox and her husband, Vic, of Osage, and their children, Barbara Zimmerman and her husband, Karl, Kenneth Fox and his wife, Pat, and their children, Nicole and Matthew, Colleen Fox, Kathy Orth and her husband, David, and their children, Megan and Connor, Linda Fett and her husband, Jim, and their son, James, and Don Fox and his wife, Jacque, and their children, Devin, Colin, and Aislinn; son Herb Johanns Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, Osage, and their children, Mark Johanns and his children, Christopher and Jacquelyn, Bob Johanns and his wife, Beth, and their children, Zoe and Piper, and Thomas Johanns and his wife, Andrea, and their child, Emma; daughter Lucille Schweiger and husband, Miles, of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and their children, Nancy Hyland and her husband, Kevin, and their children, Leanne, Nikki and Shanie Kay, Mike Schweiger and his wife, Sheila, and their children, Tera and Jeri, Jack Schweiger and his wife, Janet, and their children, Daniel, Erica and Brian, Susan Morgan and her husband, Larry, and Gary Schweiger and his wife, Lila, and their child, Ian; son Jerome Johanns and his wife, Darlene, of Lake Stockton, Mo., and their children, Jill Hart and her husband, Don, and their children, Katlien and Cody, Tim Johanns and his wife, Sherrie, and their children, Veronica, Gabrial and Ingrid, and Cheryl Terry and husband, Brian; and son Jim Johanns and his wife, Jane, of Osage and their children, Doug Johanns and his children, Megan, Jared and Kyra, and Nick Joahnns and his wife, Mel, and their children, Bria and Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herb Sr. in 1961; infant son, Maurice; daughter, Judy Johanns; granddaughter, Judy Fox; grandson, Greg Johanns; two infant grandchildren; and two brothers, Arnold and Julius Fitzel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with a scripture wake service at 5:30 p.m. and a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before services on Thursday at the church.

BANCROFT - Rita A. Williamson, 92, of Bancroft, died Sunday (March 14, 1999) at Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church, Bancroft. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

FRANCES ROOKS ERDAHL
MESA, Ariz. - Frances Rooks Erdahl, 83, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of the Mason City and Nora Springs areas, died March 9 (1999) at home.
Funeral services were held March 15 at Victory Lutheran Church, in Mesa.
Arrangements were handled by Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Mesa.
LUCILLE KLEMESRUD
OSAGE - Lucille Klemesrud, 82, of Osage, died Monday (March 15, 1999) at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage.
Lucille was born Aug. 12, 1916, on the family farm near New Haven, Iowa, the daughter of John and Josephine (Fox) Miller. She was educated in New Haven and she graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1934.
Lucille married Sidney Klemesrud on May 24, 1942, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mason City. They resided in Osage their entire married life. Sidney died in 1978.
Lucille was employed as the catalog store manager of the Montgomery Wards in Osage. She also worked at Dick's Royal Tire and Supply and then as a deputy clerk in the Mitchell County Treasurer's office, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ladies Guild and Church Circle, along with the V.F.W. and Legion auxiliaries and WA-TAN-YE.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, with the Rev. Philip Recker officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery , Osage.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with a rosary at 3 p.m. and a scripture service at 7 p.m.
She is survived by one son, Larry Klemesrud, of Osage; two grandchildren, Richard Klemesrud of Sydney, Australia, and Samantha Klemesrud of London, England; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Carol Clark, Lillian McKenna, Selma Klemesrud, Zola Naig and the Mark and Mary Low Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sidney, in 1978; one brother, Vincent Miller; and two sisters, Bernice Kraus and Vera Mauser.

CHARLES CITY - James D. Huxsol Jr., 32, of 806 Ninth St., Charles City, died Tuesday (March 16, 1999) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City, with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery , Charles City.
Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the family greeting friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

MASON CITY - Lester S. Kitner, 76, of 517 S. Connecticut Ave., died Monday (March 15, 1999) at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., with the Rev. David Shogren, of Wesley United Methodist Church, Mason City, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery , with military honors conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.
