Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Burt. Burial will be in the Burt Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Algona.

CHARLES CITY - Lola Mae Nash, 78, of Charles City, died Friday (July 9, 1999) at Salsbury Baptist Home, Charles City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church, Greene, with the Rev. James McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery , Marble Rock.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, and from 9 a.m. until noon Tuesday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Marble Rock.
LAWRENCE C. DRALLE
GREENE - Lawrence C. Dralle, 85, died Saturday (July 10, 1999) at Liebe Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Lance Kittleson officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery , Vilmar.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, and one hour prior to services at the church.
REBECCA D. JOHNSON
MASON CITY - Rebecca D. Johnson, 53, of Beaman, formerly of Mason City, died Saturday (July 10, 1999) at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center as the result of a car-motorcycle accident.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E.
GLADYS J. KEHM
MASON CITY - Gladys J. Kehm, 91, of 302 Second St. N.E., died Friday (July 9, 1999) at the Good Shepherd Health Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery , with the Rev. Sharon Betsworth of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Major-Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave.
The family suggests memorials to the First Congregational United Church of Christ.
Gladys was born Jan. 3, 1908, in Rockwell, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Mallory) Kehm. She attended schools in Mason City and was a 1925 graduate of Mason City High School. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1929. She taught school in Clear Lake, Forest City, Ventura and Floyd. Gladys was the reference librarian at the Mason City Public Library from 1951 until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, was active at the Kinney Pioneer Museum and enjoyed genealogy.
Gladys is survived by two nephews, Theodore Kehm and his wife, Gaye, of Clear Lake, and Jack Kehm and his wife, Jean, of Phoenix, Ariz.; a niece, Sally Ann Davis and husband, Warren, of Mason City; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlo and Dale Kehm, and her parents.
REBA CHRISTINE CHAUNCEY
MASON CITY - Reba Christine (Jones) Chauncey, 76, died Friday (July 9, 1999) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Her body was cremated at Major-Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. There will be no visitation per her request. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Reba Chauncey was born Sept. 16, 1922, the daughter of Richard Warren and Daisy (Bowman) Jones. Reba was educated in the Kentucky school system, including the Bryant Stratton College of Business, and Jefferson School of Law, Louisville, Ky. Her business career included assistant to the maintenance engineer and supervisor clerical-E.I. Dupont, assistant to the secretary at the Kentucky State Chamber of Commerce and participating organizer and clerical supervisor with the Louisville Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her husband, J.B. Chauncey, Mason City; a daughter, Kimberly C. Shadur and son-in-law, Dr. Craig A. Shadur, Des Moines; son, Joseph Chauncey and daughter-in-law, Linda P., Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Lorraine J. Hope, Chattatta Valley, Tenn.
JOHN JOSEPH 'SMITTY' RINGIS
MASON CITY - John Joseph "Smitty" Ringis, 85, of 15 Eighth St. S.W., died Friday (July 9, 1999) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church, 1148 Fourth St. S.E., with the Rev. David Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery , with flag folding and taps at the cemetery by the Mason City Memorial Association.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Major-Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
JUNE M. HARMON
BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - June M. Harmon, 52, of Brooklyn Center, formerly of Mason City, died Tuesday (July 6, 1999) in Minneapolis.
June was a very giving person, she loved helping everyone she could and always put herself last. She was a caregiver most of her life and a member of the 50's Car Club of
Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Rinnels; her mother-in-law, Margaret Harmon; one sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Harmon; her son, Brad (Julie) Harmon; daughter, Shelley (Jim) Ward; grandchildren, Reed and Benjamin Harmon, and Jennie, Jessica and Jamie Ward; special friend, Darlene Becker and family of Waterloo; twin sister, Jane Herman; three additional sisters, six brothers, and brother-in-law, David (Shirley) Harmon.
Funeral services were held Friday at First Lutheran Church of Crystal, Minn. Burial was held Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery , Mason City.

BUFFALO CENTER - Kate Gray, 86, died Saturday (July 10, 1999) at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Reformed Church, rural Titonka, with the Rev. Dennis Redecker officiating. Burial will be in the Ramsey Reformed Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Winter Funeral Home, Buffalo Center, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

ST. BENEDICT - Arthur J. "Art" Frideres, 83, died Sunday (July 11, 1999).
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Algona, where a parish rosary will be held at 3 p.m., and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

AREDALE - Clarence E. Stanbrough, 64, died Saturday (July 10, 1999) at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Aredale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Connor officiating.
There will be no visitation. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

BANCROFT - Vivtoria DeGeeter, 73, died Saturday (July 10, 1999) at the Heritage Nursing Home, Bancroft.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St. John Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. John Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home.
JANESE L. WING
MASON CITY - Janese L. Wing, 50, of 1516 N. Carolina Place, died Friday (July 9, 1999) at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church, Mason City, with the Rev. David Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
The family suggests memorials to the Janese L. Wing Memorial Fund.
Janese was born in Charles City on Aug. 12, 1948, to Clifton "Butch" and Virginia "Jiggs" Nickerson, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She spent her childhood in Charles City and Mason City before moving to Fort Dodge and graduating from Fort Dodge High School.
Janese was employed by Hy-Vee Floral and will be long time remembered for her talents decorating almost anything, whether it be a room, a house, a wedding reception, or just a little wooden bird house. She loved people and was always willing to go that extra mile to make people happy. Janese also adored animals and her loving care for the multitudes of animals she adopted out from the Humane Society will never be forgotten.
Her many hours of work at the Community Kitchen will be remembered fondly by everyone who worked with her and was served by her, because she made everyone she encountered feel special and very dear to her. Her talent with a calligraphy pen will be missed by St. James's new mothers, new brides and grooms, confirmants, and anyone losing a loved one.
Janese was preceded in death by her father, Butch Nickerson.
She will be sorely missed by survivors, including her mother, Virginia Nickerson of Mason City; and her two daughters, Kim Tilkes and husband, Aaron, of Mason City, and Kris Wade and husband, Jon, of Houston, Texas. Janese also has adorable twin grandbabies, Bailey and Brady Tilkes who will greatly miss her loving touch.
