KAYE E. RIPPENTROP

CEDAR FALLS - Kaye E. Rippentrop, 31, of Cedar Falls, died Monday (July 19, 1999) in Grundy County, as a result of a car accident.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wall Lake, with Father Leo Riesberg officiating. Interment will be in Wall Lake Cemetery.

Visitation was held at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home, in Lake View.

Kaye E. Scott Rippentrop was born Jan. 24, 1968, in Sac City, Iowa, to James E. and Margaret Manuel Scott. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Wall Lake.

She graduated from LVA in 1986. She was a 1990 graduate of Iowa State University. She taught in Coon Rapids; Menomonie, Wis.; and Plainfield. She was to teach in Cedar Falls this fall.

On June 10, 1995, she was united in marriage to Patrick J. Rippentrop at Wall Lake. They lived in Cedar Falls.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cedar Falls.

She enjoyed boating, biking, skiing (both snow and water), camping, sports, being with family and friends and especially with Pat and Kevin.

She is survived by her husband, Pat; and son, Kevin (17 months old); parents, Jim and Margaret Scott, of Lake View; brothers, Eric and his wife, Susan Scott, of Madison, Wis., and John Scott and his wife, Mollie, of Lake View; sisters, Anne and her husband, Steve Hayes, of Winona, Minn., Jean and her husband, Mark Hanigan, of Ellisville, Mo., Jane and her husband, Kurt Lyon, of Green Bay, Wis., and Mary and her husband, John Yeomans, of St. Charles, Mo.; nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and husband, Lucretia and Gary Johnston, of Coon Rapids; father-in-law, and wife, Nyle and Marge Rippentrop, of Mason City; sister-in-law and husband, Laurie and Al Rollefson, of Coon Rapids; grandparents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Clapper, of Burt, and Dorothy Rippentrop, of Lakota; aunts, Lois Long and family, of Lake View, and Jacquie Gerdes and family, of El Paso, Texas.

She was preceded in death by Helen and E.E. Scott and Sam and Stella Manuel, all of Lake View; and grandfather-in-law, Albert Rippentrop, of Lakota.

MICHAEL KENT DAVIS

DES MOINES - Michael Kent Davis, 60, of Des Moines, died Wednesday (July 21, 1999) at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Urbandale. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery , Des Moines.

Visitation was held Friday at Merle Hay Funeral Home, Des Moines.

KEITH VOIGT

EAGLE GROVE - Keith Voigt, 75, of Eagle Grove, died Thursday (July 22, 1999) at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove, with the Rev. William E. Ballard officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.

MARGARET A. HETTLER

MASON CITY - Margaret A. Hettler, 87, of Mason City, died Thursday (July 22, 1999) at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.

Her body was cremated. There will be no visitation. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery , Mason City, with the Rev. Dennis Cahill, of Holy Family Catholic Church, officiating.

FRANK PEARCE

ANDREWS, Texas - Frank Pearce, 50, of Andrews, died Thursday (July 22, 1999) at Midland Memorial Hospital, Midland, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 1999, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel, in Andrews, Texas, with the Rev. Ivy Shelton, pastor of Second Baptist Church, of Andrews, officiating and Harvey Waller, of Andrews, assisting.

McNett Funeral Home, 705 North Main St., Andrews, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.

BILL D. BUCKLEY

FOREST CITY - Bill D. Buckley, 65, died Saturday (July 24, 1999) at his home in Forest City.

Funeral serves will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 N. Clark St., Forest City, with the Rev. Gerald Dyste officiating. Burial will be in Ell Township Cemetery , Klemme.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Billy D. Buckley was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Forest City, the son of Marcus and Olga (Tollefson) Buckley. He attended school in Forest City and graduated from Forest City High School.

He married Lorraine Meyer on Oct. 5, 1962, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City.

Billy began his career in construction, specifically bricklaying. After working his way up the ranks, he eventually worked as a brickmason for 27 years. He worked with many area companies: Les Nelson Construction in Mason City, Davis & Keith Construction in Clear Lake, William Stoynoff in Ventura, just to name a few. Poor health eventually forced his retirement from the construction field. He later began working for 3M in Forest City and continued there for 15 years, retiring at age 60.

Billy enjoyed being outdoors: fishing, hunting and camping. He loved spending time with his family and his close friends. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed sharing his projects with family.

He died at his home in Forest City on July 24, 1999, at the age of 65.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Buckley, of Forest City; two daughters, Cheri Lyne Prohaska and her husband, Mark, of Garner, and Cindy Jo Gross and her husband, H. A., of Stuart; five grandchildren, Sara and Brad Prohaska of Garner and Melissa, Jaret and Hailey Gross of Stuart; mother-in-law, Ethel Meyer, of Garner; two aunts and several cousins.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents.

TODD ALAN LARKIN

BELMOND - Todd Alan Larkin, 35, died Friday (July 23, 1999) as a result of a car accident south of Belmond.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Belmond, with the Rev. Jim Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond, and will resume one hour prior to services at the church Wednesday.

MASON CITY - Maxine V. Roberts, 88, of 929 N. Adams, Mason City, died Saturday (July 24, 1999) at the Muse-Norris Hospice In-Patient Unit in Mason City.

MASON CITY - Ronelda M. Mott, 89, of 625 Sixth Place SE, died Saturday (July 24, 1999) at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Major Erickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City.

MARCELLA A. LARSEN

MASON CITY - Marcella A. Larsen, 65, of 651 Sixth St. SE, died Saturday (July 24, 1999) at her home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church, Mason City.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Major Erickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City.

STELLA L. BURNETT

GOODELL - Stella L. Burnett, 75, of Garner, formerly of Goodell, died Friday (July 23, 1999) at Concord Care Center, Garner.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Amsterdam Cemetery near Goodell, with the Rev. Lynne Spencer-Smith officiating.
