CEDAR RAPIDS - Dana Ann Quebe, 19, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) in Chicago.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church in Carpenter, with the Rev. Kathy Larson officiating. Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery , Carpenter.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 207 S. School St., St. Ansgar.
Dana Ann Quebe was born Feb. 24, 1980, to Jerry and Julie (Gordon) Quebe, in Arlington Heights, Ill.
She graduated from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Ill. In 1998, she completed her first year in the Western College at Miami University at Oxford, Ohio.
She was an avid hockey and sports fan. She had a compassion for animals.
She is survived by her mother, Julie Quebe, of Cedar Rapids; her father, Jerry Quebe, of Chicago; her maternal grandparents, Lynn and Beverly Gordon, of Carpenter; her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Kathryn Quebe, of Corwith; half brother, Chad Darby, of Beaverton, Ore.; and a half sister, Tara Blietz, of West Palm Beach, Fla.

THERESA ANN FARRINGTON
MASON CITY - Theresa Ann Farrington, 58, of 325 S. Carolina Ave., died Monday (Aug. 2, 1999) at her home.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 302 Fifth St. S.E., with the Rev. Carl A. Ries officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery , Mason City.
Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. today at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with a rosary beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a scriptural prayer service beginning at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Newman Scholarship Fund in memory of Theresa Ann Farrington.
Theresa Ann Farrington was born April 13, 1941, in rural Floyd County, daughter of Daniel and Mabel (Osier) Koenigsfeld.
Theresa grew up on a farm near Marble Rock. She and her family moved to Mason City in 1951 and she graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1959.
She married Michael J. Farrington on April 15, 1967.
Theresa worked at Northern Life Insurance Company as a secretary for a short time. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower garden, cooking and traveling. She was an avid sports fan - enjoying the Hawkeyes and especially the Cubs.
She loved gathering her family together and she was the nurturer of her many nieces and nephews. Her good companion was her poodle, Chelsie.
Theresa was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Cecilia Circle. She was a member of the "500 card club" for 32 years.
Survivors include her husband, Michael J. Farrington, of Mason City; three brothers, Al Ruzicka and his wife, Nancy, of Minneapolis, Steven Koenigsfeld and his wife, Mary, of Marble Rock, and Peter Koenigsfeld and his wife, Sharon, of Mason City; six sisters, Cecilia Holzer, of Charles City, Dorothy Streit and her husband, Nicholas, of LaValle, Wis., Genevieve Haus, of Salem, Ore., Elaine Menges, of Mason City, Mary Craven and her husband, Pete, of Mason City, and Bernadette Hennagir, of Mason City; and one brother-in-law, Dennis Farrington, of Fairbanks; three sisters-in-law, JoAnn Everman and her husband, Allan, of Stuartville, Minn., Veronica Roth and her husband, Tom, of Dubuque, and Virginia Curry and her husband, Harv, of Musaday, Wis.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joanne Frein and her husband, Harry; and two brothers-in-law, Cletus Holzer and Ralph Haus.

MASON CITY - Linda L. Barker, 61, of Mason City, died Tuesday (Aug. 3, 1999) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Memorial Park Cemetery , with the Rev. Randy Nielsen, chaplain of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, officiating.

ALLISON - Bernita W. Davis, 69, of 21952 170th St., Allison, died Tuesday (Aug. 3, 1999) at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church, Vilmar, in rural Greene, with the Rev. Mark Walker officiating. Burial will be in Allison Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Greene, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

MARLIN GENE BISTLINE
NORA SPRINGS - Marlin Gene Bistline, 64, of 214 First St. N.W., Mason City, died Wednesday (Aug. 4, 1999) at the Faith Lutheran Home, Osage.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye St., Nora Springs, with the Rev. Arthur Hill, of First United Methodist Church, Osage, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery , Rudd.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, Nora Springs and will continue one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the Stain Glass Window Fund at the Osage First United Methodist Church or the Nora Springs Fire Department in memory of Marlin G. Bistline.
Marlin Gene Bistline was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Mason City, son of Paul and Fleta (Tibbits) Bistline. He grew up in the Rudd and Osage area and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1953.
Marlin was a self-employed trucker, retiring because of his illness. He loved to put puzzles together and spend time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include two sisters, Marilyn McDonald and her husband, Dale, of McCleansburg, Ill., and Ardelys Newton and her husband, Neil, of Osage; one brother, Larry Bistline and his wife, Pat, of Runnells; nine nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his twin sister, Marlys in infancy.
