ROCK FALLS - Delita M. Kendrew, 94, of Rock Falls, died Monday (Sept. 20, 1999) at the Nora Springs Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Old Stone United Methodist Church, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Richard Pippert and the Rev. Deborah Stowers officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Falls Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
Memorials may be given to the Delita M. Kendrew Memorial Fund.
Delita was born May 26, 1905, in Nora Springs, the daughter of George and Luella (McKee) Brodrecht. She attended country school.
Delita was married to Clarence "Connie" Kendrew on June 18, 1927, at Plymouth. They moved to Rock Falls in 1934.
She was an avid sewer and enjoyed playing the piano and organ for her own enjoyment.
She was a member of the Old Stone United Methodist Church and UMW of Rock Falls, and Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by one son, Harold Kendrew and his wife Nancy of Rock Falls; grandson, Craig Kendrew and his wife Susan of rural Rock Falls; granddaughter, Pamela Kendrew, of Crawford, Colo.; great-granddaughters, Bridget and Nicole Kendrew of rural Rock Falls; sister, Melva Butts and her husband Newell of Waterloo; one nephew and several nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1978; a brother, Harold; and a sister, Marvel Hanson.

WINONA, Minn. - Lola B. Crum, 87, of Winona, Minn., and formerly of Mason City, died Tuesday (Sept. 21, 1999) at the Watkins Home, Winona, Minn.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Congregational Church, Winona, Minn. Interment will be at the Conrad Cemetery , Conrad, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home, 1476 W. Broadway, Winona, Minn. 55987, and from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church on Friday.
She was born in Melvin, Iowa, on March 27, 1912, daughter of Daniel C. and Maude B. Rolston Steelsmith. She married Chester C. Crum in Liscomb, Iowa. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Clarence Crum, of Arcadia, Wis.; daughter-in-law, Theresa Crum, of Winona, Minn.; granddaughters, Kathy and Libby Crum, of Winona, Minn.

MASON CITY - Richard Clausen, 80, of 34 21st St. S.E., died Wednesday (Sept. 22, 1999) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday morning at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 E. State St. Burial will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery , with military honors conducted by the Mason City Memorial Association.

ALTA ADA BUNTING
CLEAR LAKE - Mrs. Alta Ada Bunting, 88, of 2310 First Ave. S., died Monday (Sept. 20, 1999) at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake. Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel and then continue after 9 a.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorials to the Alta A. Bunting Memorial Fund.
Alta was born Aug. 4, 1911, in rural Thornton, the daughter of John and Ida Ann (Smail) Shaffer. She attended school in rural Thornton.
Alta was married to Leonard F. Davis in 1927; she later married Arvin Bunting on Dec. 22, 1949, in Kirksville, Mo.
Alta enjoyed going to
Minnesota fishing, camping, gardening, reading, cooking and was known for her apple pies. She was devoted to her family.
Alta is survived by five children, Dean D. Davis and his wife Carlene of Mason City, Duane L. Davis and his wife Diane of Clear Lake, Dennis J. Davis of Clear Lake, Ruth A. Young and her husband Brian of Plainview, Minn., and Joan K. Davey and her husband Ralph of Manly; 12 grandchildren, Jeffrey Davis, Michelle Christensen and her husband Rob, Clayton Davis, Christine Marchesano and her husband Robby, Mark Davis, Jason Davis, Brian Young and his wife Rachel, Brent Young, Brenda Magnuson and her husband Shawn, Aaron Young, Renee Davey and Alex Davey; and seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Davis, Dain Christensen, Laurel Christensen, Paige Christensen, Ashley Faye Marchesano, Rebecca Magnuson and Katherine Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvin; three sisters, Edna Butts, Dolly Smith and Eva Shaffer; four brothers, Walt, Fred, Frank and William Shaffer; and one grandson, Steven Dean Davis.
