According to his wishes, the body of Mr. Lange will be cremated following his service

| Robert “Bobby” C. Lange, 69, of rural West Burlington, Iowa, died at 3:17 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Great River Medical Center.

Born August 1, 1937 in Burlington, he was the son of Robert and Verna Ruth Gibbs Lange. He was married to Karlene Earls.

Mr. Lange was a 1955 graduate of Burlington High School. He was a Marine Veteran, serving from 1955 until 1957. He worked as an ironworker for 35 years and farmed his family farm, which has been in the family for three generations.

Mr. Lange was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, National Rifle Association, Ironworkers Union Local 577 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a Jeff Gordon fan and was a past stock car racer at 34-Raceways, Des Moines County Fair Grounds and Columbus Junction. He helped everyone and was very active in working for Toys for Tots.

Survivors include two sons, Todd (Diane) Lange of Stronghurst, Illinois and Kyle Lange of West Burlington; one daughter, Holly (Ryan) Bridgham of Voluntown, Connecticut; seven grandchildren, Marissa, Mia, Mikayla, Amanda, Brandin, Logan and Gavin; one great grandson, Dalton; sister, Marjorie Siefken of Burlington; and one sister-in-law, Norma Lange of West Burlington.

His parents; brother, Clifford Lange; and brother-in-law, Herman Siefken, preceded him in death.

Frances "Fran" L. LaRue
February 8, 1943 - August 14, 2006

Reverend Randall Gearhart will officiate
A memorial has been established for the Women of the Moose.
According to her wishes, the body of Mrs. LaRue will be cremated following
the funeral service.
Everyone is welcome for a time of fellowship and luncheon at Cascade Boat Club
following the service.

Frances “Fran” L. LaRue, 63, of Burlington, died Monday, August 14, 2006, at her residence.

Born February 8, 1943 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Philip and Helen Ermal Kissick Graham. On August 3, 1973 she married Donald S. LaRue, Sr. in Oquawka, Illinois.

Mrs. LaRue was a graduate of Denmark High School. She retired from B.L. Robinson Electric Suply Co. after 31 years of service in the office. She was a member of Women of the Moose and Burlington Gym.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Donald LaRue, Sr. of Burlington; three daughters, Debb Frye of Muscatine, Michelle (Chuck) Aldridge of New Boston, Illinois and Kay Paetz of Muscatine; two sons, Donald (Kay) LaRue, Jr. and Jay LaRue both of Muscatine; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four sisters, Vera Miller of Keosauqua, Phillis Watson of Fort Madison, Virginia Cadman of San Diego, California and Leanna Montegue of Copperas Cove, Texas.

Her parents, granddaughter, son-in-law, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established for Women of the Moose.

Florence Latta

March 3, 1920 - April 8, 2006

Florence L. Latta, 86 of Burlington, died at 2:43 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Great River Medical Center – Klein Center.

Born March 3, 1920 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Herbert and Edna Amelia Larson Jones. On June 21, 1941 she married Paul E. Latta in Burlington. He died May 24, 1995.

Mrs. Latta was a 1938 graduate of Burlington High School, a homemaker and worked at Midwest Biscuit Company and Park Manor Nursing Home. She also babysat in her home for several years. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include one son, Richard Latta of Burlington; three daughters, Karen Latta of Burlington, Linda Lant of Clinton, and LuAnn Cline of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Her husband, parents, one brother, and one great grandson preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established.

Louise Anne Lawler

May 3, 1903 - January 26, 2006

- Graveside Funeral Service and Interment: Monday, January 30, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Aspen Grove Cemetery

Louise Agnes Lawler, 102, of Burlington died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006, at Burlington Care Center.

Born May 3, 1903 in Hopkins, Missouri, she was the daughter of Andrew T. and Mary E. Butler Grimes. On December 17, 1923 she married Irvin Lawler in Hopkins, Missouri. He died May 19, 1962.

Mrs. Lawler was of the Protestant faith. She was a production worker at Iowa Army Ammunition Plant for 30 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Lou Nichols of West Burlington; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Her husband, two sons, one daughter, parents, three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established for Burlington Care Center.

Erlene L. Lee
March 7, 1917 - August 6, 2006

Erlene L. Lee, 89, of Mediapolis and formerly of Autumn Heights, died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Great River Medical Center.

Born March 7, 1917 near Flora, Illinois, she was the daughter of Floyd and Flossie Marshall Baity. On March 21, 1944 she married Robert E. Lee in Burlington. He died February 15, 1965.

Mrs. Lee worked at I.R.C. and also was an in home care giver. She was a member of Mediapolis First United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed card making, sending birds to people and her grand and great grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Ron (Linda) Wilkerson of Sioux City; one daughter, Shirley Rhum of Mediapolis; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and one sister, Audrey Bower of Fairfield.

Her husband, parents and three brothers preceded her in death.

Memorials have been established for Middletown and Mediapolis Presbyterian Churches.

Harold Walter Lee
November 13, 1921 - August 19, 2006

The family will greet friends for a time of fellowship and a luncheon in the church hall
following the funeral service.
A memorial has been established for the Grace United Methodist Church, Great River
Hospice and SCC Blackhawk Boosters.
According to his wishes, the body of Mr. Lee will be cremated following
the funeral service.

Harold Walter Lee, 84, of Burlington died at 12:30 AM, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at his residence.

Born November 13, 1921 in Mt. Sterling, Iowa, he was the son of Walter Stafford and Amelia Peterson Lee. On May 22, 1945 he married Opal Corley in Bremerton, Washington.

Mr. Lee was a 1940 graduate of Farmington High School. He served in WWII as a Machinist Mate 2nd Class in the Navy. He owned and operated L & L Carpenters as a carpenter contractor, and L & L Standard Gas Station at South and 9th Street. He was then a planner at IAAP for fourteen years until retiring in1983.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aries 150 for over 50 years. He also called Bingo and was active at the Senior Citizens Center. He was a St. Louis Cardinal and Southeastern Community College Blackhawk Basketball fan. Mr. and Mrs. Lee and their family camped all of their lives with their family and retired as snowbirds in the Southwest, mainly in Arizona and California.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Opal Lee of Burlington; one daughter Anita Marie (Rodney) Martin of Knoxville, Iowa; one son Terry Lee, of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Steven Rheinschmidt, Kathryn Corbett, Caren Krauss, Jason Rheinschmidt, Bryan Lee, Kimberly Lee and Leesa Bogert; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jaxon Franklin; a twin sister Helen (Wesley) Bishop, Wayzata, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

His infant son Timmy, parents and one brother, Richard Lee preceded him in death.
