CLOVIS, N.M.- Stanley G. Greiner, 88, formerly of the Algona and Wesley area, died Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) at Clovis, N.M.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home in Algona is in charge of arrangements - (515) 295-3731.

SANDY L. DEHLER

ALGONA - Sandy L. Dehler, 50, died Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) at her home in Algona.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Algona. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery , Algona.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Algona.

RUTH ELAINE LESTRUD

NORTHWOOD - Ruth Elaine Lestrud, 71, died Sunday (Oct. 24, 1999) at Lutheran Retirement Home, Northwood.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, Northwood. Burial will be in Elk Creek Cemetery , rural Kensett.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 Spring St., Manly, and will continue on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Other arrangements are incomplete at Conner Chapel, 99 Eleventh St. S., Northwood - (515) 342-1543

SAMUEL VALENTINE HOHENFIELD

MASON CITY - Samuel Valentine Hohenfield, 76, formerly of Mason City, died Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) in Hawarden.

Funeral services are tentatively planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel.

Arrangements are incomplete at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City - (515) 423-2372.

ESTHER M. FAULKNER

OSAGE - Esther M. Faulkner, 92, died Sunday (Oct. 24, 1999) at Faith Lutheran Home, Osage.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Champion Funeral Home, Osage - (515) 732-3706.

MARY ANN WELLS

MASON CITY - Mary Ann Wells, 83, of 1037 19th St. S.W., died Friday (Oct. 22, 1999) at the I.O.O.F. Home, Mason City.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery , Marshalltown.

Memorials may be directed to the Mary Ann Wells Memorial Fund.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mary Ann Wells was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Marshalltown, the daughter of Milo W. and Catherine Miennehan Wells.

She was employed by Marshall Canning Factory for a number of years then worked as an assistant housekeeper at the Hotel Tallcorn in Marshalltown. She moved to Mason City from Cedar Rapids where she worked as a nurse's aid for eight years. She has resided in Mason City since 1973.

Mary Ann has no surviving family.

MILDRED L. BUSEMAN

BELMOND - Mildred L. Buseman, 83, passed away Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) at her son's home in Meservey.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Reformed Church near Belmond with the Rev. Rob Ford officiating. Burial will be in Belmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Dugger Ewing Funeral Home in Belmond.

Mildred, the daughter of Frank and Katie Smith Haupt, was born April 27, 1916, in Wibaux, Mont. At a very early age her family moved to Iowa. Mildred grew up in the Rowan/Belmond area where she attended country schools.

Mildred was united in marriage with Erwin A. Buseman on August 10, 1933, in Clarion. The couple lived in Clarion for a time. They then lived in various towns before moving to a farm near Alexander. Mildred and Erwin moved into Belmond in 1973. Erwin passed away April 7, 1995.

Mildred worked as a housewife and mother and enjoyedembroidery work. She also enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. Mildred was a member of the Immanuel Reformed Church.

Mildred is survived by one son, Harlan and his wife, Judy, of Meservey; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Minnie Olson of Dows, Wilma Friesleben and her husband, Hartley, of Clarion, Lorraine Johnson and her husband, Earl, of Iowa Falls, and Helen Ahrens of Rowan; five brothers, Robert Haupt of Belmond; Bernard Haupt and his wife, Helen, of North Liberty, Raymond Haupt and his wife, Arthurine, of Dows, Donald Haupt and his wife, Wava, of Clarion, and Duane Haupt and his wife, Darilyn, of Dows; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Donald; and two brothers, Ed and Alvin.

MASON CITY - Lottie Landon, 84, of Bull Schoals, Ark., died Monday (Oct. 25, 1999) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Fullerton Patterson James Funeral Chapel, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City.

FOREST CITY - Amy Brakke, 82, of Forest City, died Monday (Oct. 25, 1999) at the Heritage Care Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Winnebago Lutheran Church, rural Lake Mills, with the Rev. Bill Peters officiating. Interment will be in Winnebago Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 N. Clark, Forest City.

CURTIS D. JENSON

BRITT - Curtis D. Jenson, 74, of Britt, died Monday (Oct. 25, 1999) at home.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Crystal Lake Methodist Church, Crystal Lake, with Pastor Gary Marzoff officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ewing Funeral Chapel, Britt.

HAMPTON - Thomas Dale Bell, 77, of Hampton, died Sunday (Oct. 24, 1999) at the Franklin General Hospital, Hampton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, with the Rev. Wilbert Trusheim officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home.

OSAGE - Esther M. Faulkner, 92, of Osage and formerly of Keosauqua, died Sunday (Oct. 24, 1999) at the Faith Lutheran Home, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Champion Funeral Home, 702 State St., Osage, with the Rev. Gary Gilbert officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
