Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon with burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery
in Waukon.

A graveside service for Wilma Ewald, 88, a former Charles City resident who died March 5, 2001, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Cemetery , Charles City. Friends and family are invited to gather at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church's Social Hall immediately following the service.
Jennie Henry
Jennie P. (Mrs. Ray) Henry, 90, 602 Eleventh Street, Charles City, and formerly of 108 Park Ave., Charles City and 1250 Rampart Avenue, rural Floyd, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at the Eleventh Street Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City, following an extended illness.
A funeral service for Jennie Henry will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main and Gilbert streets, Charles City. The Reverend Dennis D. Niezwaag will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery , Charles City.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
Mrs. Henry, the former Jennie Pearl Slinger, was born Feb. 9, 1911, in Riverton Township, rural Charles City, and the daughter of Fred and Marie (Schneider) Slinger. She attended country school and graduated from Charles City Community High School in 1928. Jennie then received her normal training to teach school. She taught in rural schools prior to her marriage.
On Jan. 1, 1939, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Rectory, she was united in marriage to Ray L. Henry. For 54 years, the couple made their home in rural Floyd, where Jennie was busy in all the activities of being a wife, mother and homemaker. It was there that Jennie developed a fond love for raising flowers, produce in her garden, chickens and sheep. Mrs. Henry was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Royal Neighbors, the Charles City Women's Club, the neighborhood Birthday Club and the FCNB Heritage Club.
Those thankful for sharing Jennie's life are her husband of over 60 years, Ray of Charles City; her two children and their spouses, Elaine and Bill Springenburg of Charles City, and Delwyn and Lois Henry of Floyd; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Hobert of Charles City and a brother, Glenn Slinger of Charles City; five grandchildren, Randall Knutson and his wife Michele, Curt Knutson, Robert Henry and his wife Jill, Jana Henry and Grant Henry; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her parents and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Oscar Gabel, Grace Slinger, and Melvin Hobert, precede her in death.

LaVonne Freerks, 77, of Clarksville, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, at the Clarksville Community Nursing Home of complications of an earlier heart attack.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Clarksville. Rev. David Walters officiated. Burial was in the Lynwood Cemetery , Clarksville. Schwartz Funeral Home in Clarksville was in charge of the arrangements.
Marshall 'Keith' Huffman
EVANSDALE - Marshall 'Keith' Huffman, 78, of Evansdale, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Evansdale. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery
in Charles City.
Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home in Nashua where there will be a Rosary service at 4 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.
Clarence Bahlmann
WAVERLY - Clarence F. Bahlmann, 80, of Waverly, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17, at the Trinity Methodist Church in Waverly with Rev. Allen Poore-Christensen officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Memorial Gardens in Charles City.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kaiser Corson Funeral Home in Waverly.
Remadena "Rem" Eichmeier
Remadena "Rem" (Mrs. "Burr") Eichmeier, 83, a former resident of 101 8th St. SE, Rockford, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2000, at the Nora Springs Care Center in Nora Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Rockford. The Rev. John Albrecht, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery
at Rockford.
Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 3 to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 15, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning at the church from 9 a.m. until service time.

On Aug. 14, 2000, Hazel Leora Meyer moved to her new home in Heaven! The celebration of her life will be at the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Floyd on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery
at Charles City.
Visitation will be at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City on Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The family will be there to greet friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home and an hour prior to the service at the church.

Visitation will be conducted between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the hour, as well as one hour prior to service.
