Debra Long

OTTUMWA - Debra Sue Craft Long, 21, 2316 Washington St., Burlington, formerly of Ottumwa, died Nov. 20, 1999 at Burlington Medical Center ETC.

She was born Nov. 5, 1978 in Ottumwa to Byron C. and Mary L. Savage Craft.

The service was held Nov. 26 at Prugh's Funeral Chapel in Burlington, the Rev. Bobby Lewis officiating. Burial was in Parsons Cemetery in Oakville, Iowa.

Irene Musselman

BLOOMFIELD -- E. Irene Musselman, 80, of Bloomfield, formerly of Morton, Ill., died Nov. 24, 2002, at her son's home, rural Bloomfield.

She was born June 19, 1922 at Speer, Ill. to Fredrick and Lydia Dallinger Schmidgall. She married Howard L. Musselman Oct. 17, 1942 at Morton, Ill. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 2002.

She was a member of the Pulaski Apostolic Christian Church.

She is survived by daughter Cheryl Duke of High Springs, Fla.; two sons, Roger Musselman of rural Bloomfield and Arlyn Musselman of Burnside, Ill.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers, Irvin, Clarence and Harry Schmidgall of Morton, Ill., Elmer Schmidgall of East Peoria, Ill. and Sam Schmidgall of Eureka, Ill.; and two sisters, Lydia Mooberry of Tremont, Ill. and Ruth Martin of El Paso, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, William, Benjamin and Alvin Schmidgall.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Morton Apostolic Christian Church, Morton, Ill. Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery , Morton, Ill.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home, Bloomfield with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home, Morton, Ill.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris, Matthew, Mark, Michael, Aaron, and Andrew Musselman.

Memorials have been established to Hospice Inc., Pulaski Apostolic Christian Church; United Methodist Church, Colusa, Ill.; Morton Apostolic Christian Church Restmor Building Fund; and Morton Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge.

Elsie Moore

OSKALOOSA -- Elsie M. Moore, 89, of Omaha, Neb., and formerly of Oskaloosa, died Dec. 7, 2002, at Millard Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Omaha, Neb.

She was born Dec. 22, 1912, in Fremont to William and Clara Randell McBurney. She married Wayne H. Moore Oct. 5, 1938, in Fremont. He preceded her in death March 13, 1983.

She moved with her family to Fremont, Neb., to farm and graduated from Schuyler High School in Nebraska in 1931. She had taught country school near Fremont, Neb., for seven years; worked at Mahaska County Hospital as a nurse's aide; and did substitute teaching for the Eddyville and Bussey elementary schools in 1954. She was a member of the Eddyville Methodist Church; the First Christian Church, Oskaloosa, and its Go Getter Sunday School class; a long-time member of the Iowa Central Exchange Club; and was active in the local American Cancer Society.

Surviving are her daughter, Ruth Ann Boley of Omaha, Neb.; two granddaughters; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Donald Moore; two brothers, Virgil and Clifford McBurney; and sister, Lottie Caskey.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bates Funeral Chapel, Oskaloosa, with the Rev. Michael Crouch officiating. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery , Oskaloosa.

Visitation will begin after 3 p.m. today ( Monday) and continue all day Tuesday with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Oskaloosa.

Juanita Miller

HEDRICK -- Juanita Miller, 94, formerly of Hedrick, died Dec. 8, 2002, at Ottumwa Manor.

Arrangements are pending at Fremont Funeral Chapel.

Frank Mihalovich

CORYDON -- Frank "Coke" Joseph Mihalovich, 70, of Corydon, formerly of Centerville Jan. 30, 2003, at his home.

He was born March 9, 1932 at Cincinnati to Joseph Mihalovich and Katherine Raskie Mihalovich. He married Dora E. Myers at Centerville Dec. of 1962. She preceded him in death in 1988.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. He operated heavy equipment most of his life in the construction industry and also worked at Rathbun Rural Water, Centerville. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centerville.

He is survived by five children, Laurie Cormeny, of New Hartford, Chuck of Van Meter, Phil of Deerfield, N.H., Rosann of Ottumwa, and Martha of Myrtle Beach, S.C..; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Elizabeth Kuberski and Jennie Mihalovich both of Centerville and Olga Kauzlarich of Oaklawn, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; a sister Margaret Kauzlarich; a brother Joe Mihalovich; and three sisters in infancy.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joe Miller officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery , Centerville with a Military service.

Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m. Prayer service.

Pallbearers will be John Widmar, Gabe Raskie, Steve Raskie, Danny Zaputil, Steve Zemo mid Tom Budeslich.

A memorial has been established to St. Mary's School and may left or mail to the funeral home, PO Box 6, Centerville 52544.

Eugene "Tim" McCoy

ELDON -- Eugene "Tim" Leroy McCoy, 78, died July 31, 2002, at Manor Care Health Services, Cedar Rapids.

He was born May 16, 1925, in Eldon to Walter and Mary Charlotte (Lottie) Box McCoy.

He attended Eldon High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946, serving in Tarawa, Saipan and Tinian. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post No. 788.

Surviving are two brothers, Claude McCoy of Virginia Beach, Va., and Harold McCoy of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Walter Glenn McCoy and Ralph Edward McCoy.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eldon City Cemetery , Eldon, conducted by Walter B. Schafer Post No. 775 Veterans of Foreign Wars and O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 American Legion.

First Christian Church, Eldon, will serve a meal following services.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Kremer Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Norma Lovejoy

OSKALOOSA -- Norma C. Lovejoy, 64, of Oskaloosa died July 31, 2002, at Mahaska Hospital, Oskaloosa.

She was born Feb. 17, 1938, at Brownfield, Texas, to Walter and Grace Agnew Sligh. She married Gary Lovejoy June 23, 1956, at Fresno.

She grew up in Fresno, Calif., and graduated from the Fresno High School with the class of 1956. She received a Licensed Vocational Nursing degree from the St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno and worked at St. Agnes Medical Center until retiring in 1997. She moved to Oskaloosa and worked briefly at Mahaska Hospital.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Steve Lovejoy of Oskaloosa, Barry Lovejoy of Fresno, Calif., and Ed Lovejoy of Oskaloosa; two daughters, Laurie Lovejoy of Mariposa, Calif., and Cynthia Sudden of Fresno, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Corine Sligh.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Forest Cemetery , Oskaloosa. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today (Friday) at Bates Funeral Chapel, Oskaloosa, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Iola LaRue

ELDON -- Iola LaRue, 64, of 4707 63rd Ave., died April 6, 2003, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Reece Funeral Home.

Sandra Kramer

OTTUMWA -- Sandra Marie Kramer, 65, of 1021 33rd St. NE, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Ottumwa, died Aug. 1, 2002, in her home.

She was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Harper to Ignatious and Leona Grimes Peiffer. She married Billy M. Kramer March 4, 1966, in Cedar Rapids.

She was raised and educated in Ottumwa and has lived in Cedar Rapids since 1960. She has been employed with Rockwell Collins, Coralville, since 1986. She was a member of IBEW Union 1634 and had served as Union Steward and Safety Representative. She also volunteered for many local organizations.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Kari Cerato of Charleston, S.C.; three sons, Kelly Kirk and Kris Kirk, both of Cedar Rapids, and Kevin Kirk of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Audrey Relder of Garland, Texas; Yvonne Toft of Hayward, Calif.; and Letitia Grassi of Coralville.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimetha Ann; her parents; three sisters; and one brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Mark Osterhaus officiating. Entombment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today (Friday) at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship fund for children of families affected by cancer is being established through IBEW 1634, Rockwell Collins Coralville Operations, 2855 Heartland Drive, Coralville, Iowa, 52241.
