Boyd Cammack, age 79, of Storm Lake, Iowa died Monday, February 05, 2007 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Memorial Services for Mr. Cammack will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in the Storm Lake Cemetery with Full Military Rites by the Alta VFW. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, where the family will be present. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
Dennis Buell
Dennis Alan Buell, 66, Breezy Point, Minn., and lifelong resident of Schaller, passed away on Feb. 1, 2007.
Dennis was born
on March 18, 1940 to William and Elna (Goettsch) Buell, the fourth of four children. On Dec. 29, 1967, Dennis married
Ruth Graybill of Galva. To this union two children, Ryan and Jenny, were born. Dennis and Ruth raised their family on the family farm in Schaller where they lived until retiring to Breezy Point, Minn., in 2005.
Verner Davis
Verner B. Davis, age 78, of Storm Lake, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at Yuma Regional Hospital in Yuma, Ariz.
Memorial services for Mr. Davis are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, with Rev. David Koehler officiating. Private family burial will be in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors by Amvets Post #66.
Phout Phanthavong
Phout Phanthavong, age 62, of Storm Lake, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial will be in Storm Lake Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Warren Jimmerson
Warren Dean Jimmerson, 86, of Alta passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at Trinity Regional Medical Center of Fort Dodge after a brief illness.
Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at United Methodist Church in Alta with Pastor Terry Pollard officiating. Barker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Leonard Anderson
Leonard Q. Anderson, age 85, of Linn Grove, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Mercy Medical Center at Sioux City.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Presbyterian Church in Linn Grove, with Rev. Russell Westbrook officiating. Burial followed at Barnes Township Cemetery at Linn Grove. Sliefert Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids was in charge of arrangements.
Warren Anderson
Warren Anderson, age 85, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, and formerly of Rembrandt, Iowa died on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior ’s Lutheran Church in Rembrandt. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
Leota Neppl
Leota Neppl, age 90, of Storm Lake and formerly of Fonda, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Newell Good Samaritan Center.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Neppl were held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary ’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fonda. Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake was in charge of the arrangements.
T. Q. Smith
T. Q. Smith, age 55, of Nemaha, died Sunday, June 24, 2007 after a courageous battle against cancer.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Helen Kindwall
Helen M. Kindwall, 93, of Storm Lake, formerly of Alta, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Buena Vista Manor.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Alta, with Pastor D. Duane Olson officiating. Burial was at Scandinavian Cemetery, Alta. Barker Funeral Home of Alta was in charge of arrangements.

Cynthia (Ploeger) Wolf, age 49, of Everett, Washington and formerly of Schaller, Iowa, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at her home.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Wolf will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church in Schaller. Burial will be in the E&R Cemetery in rural Schaller. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.

William Jackes
William Edward Jackes, 92, of Fort Pierce, Fla., beloved Christian, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on Aug. 11, 2007 surrounded by his family.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Holstein United Methodist Church with Pastor Todd Schlitter officiating. Burial was in Holstein Cemetery with military rites by Dessel Schmidt American Legion Post #225. Barker Funeral Home in Holstein was in charge of arrangements.

Dale M. “Odie” Nielsen, 80, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Carlsen Funeral Home in LeMars, with Rev. Peter Boe officiating. Interment with military honors by Casper American Legion Post #477 of Hinton was in Hillside Cemetery, Merrill. Carlsen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Yvonne Struchen
Yvonne Struchen died Aug. 2, 2007 at the age of 72 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas. She survived leukemia treatment nine years ago, but this time it was not to be.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007 at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church in Richardson, Texas. A graveside service will be held in Early on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at 11 a.m.
Wilbert Sievers
Wilbert W. Sievers, of Omaha, Neb., passed away at his home on Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 at the age of 88. He formerly farmed in the Newell area.
He is survived by wife Alice, children Kay (Greg) Russell of Missouri, Leon (Jean) Sievers of Colorado, Doreen (Dan) Whithorn of Omaha; grandchildren Kirk, Kyle, Koreen, Chad, Missy, Jenny, Sarah, Katie and Daniel; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lloyd Sievers of Des Moines.
Leroy Kendall
Leroy Kendall, age 92, of Storm Lake, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at Methodist Manor Retirement Community.
Services for Mr. Kendall were held Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Sliefert Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hinshaw officiating. Burial was in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery.
Michael Young
Michael D. “Mike” Young, age 62 of Sioux City, formerly of Storm Lake, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City with Rev. James Bruch officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Robert Duitsman
Robert R. Duitsman, age 82, of Sac City, Iowa died Saturday, October 13, 2007 as the result of a pickup accident north of Sac City.
Services for Mr. Duitsman will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Nain Lutheran Church in Newell, Iowa. Reverend Tom Dettmer will officiate. Burial will be in the Newell Cemetery. The Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Newell is in charge of the arrangements.
