PELLA Sandra J. Heinen, 53, of Pella, passed away Friday afternoon at her home near Pella following a 10 - year struggle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Faith Christian Reformed Church, Pella. The Family Committal Service will precede the memorial service at the Oakwood cemetery in Pella. Visitation will begin on Sunday evening and all day Monday at the Van Dyk - Duven Funeral Home. Family visitation will be Monday evening form 5 to 7 p.m. at the Faith Christian Reformed Church. Memorials may be designated for the Pella Christian High School Building Fund.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Delta Methodist Church. Burial will be at Springfield cemetery , near Delta. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Keokuk County. MASON CITY Diana R. Brower, 63, won her battle with cancer Thursday, April 20, 2006, when she died peacefully at the Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City. Services will be held at St. Ansgar United Methodist Church 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 24. Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home. Despite a long and difficult battle, Diana never allowed it to touch her spirit, leaving the disease with nothing left to attack but her earthly body. Her faith was never compromised, and she victoriously crossed the threshold to go home to be with her Lord.
