Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Garland - Van Arkel - Langkamp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Forest cemetery . Visitation will begin at noon, Thursday, at Garland - Van Arkel - Langkamp Funeral Chapel; the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday to greet friends and relatives. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Mahaska County Post No. 21 in memory of Reta and Bill Allgood.

OSKALOOSA Myrtle E. Gardner, 92, of Oskaloosa, passed away Sunday night, Jan. 14, 2007, at Pleasant Park Estates in Oskaloosa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Morey officiating. Burial will be in the Highland cemetery at Eddyville. Open visitation will be Wednesday after 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to Mahaska Hospice.

OTTUMWA Arthur Louis Wormhoudt, 89, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at the Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa.
He has donated his body to the University of Iowa Medical School. Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa was in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Pella. Committal service will be held at 1 p.m. in the Oakwood cemetery at Pella. Visitation will begin Friday morning, with the family present Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Van Dyk - Duven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Kaiser - Corson Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Tony Nester officiating.
