Levi E. Hubbard, 66, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 19, 2005 in Sandpoint, Idaho due to complications from a malignant brain tumor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. At Levi’s request no services will be held.
Levi was an avid fisherman. He served many years as president and derby master for the Lake Pend O’Reille Idaho Club.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Hubbard of Hope; sons Levi J. Hubbard of Spokane and Cory A. Hubbard of Mukilteo, Washington; brother Chuck (Karen) Hubbard of Eugene, Oregon; sister Nel Colombini of Rathdrum; six nieces and 7 great nieces and nephews
Memorial donations may be made to Lake Pend O’Reille Idaho Club, PO Box 1589, Sandpoint, ID 83864.

Ronald L. “Ron” Collins, 54, passed away on January 1, 2006 in Spokane, Wa. from injuries sustained in an Automobile Accident
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Athol Church of God in Athol, Idaho with Pastor George Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Athol Grandview Cemetery.

Roger Lewis Ainsworth, 61, of Clark Fork, ID, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Sandpoint, Id. A celebration of his life will be held at the Hope Hotel in Hope, ID on Saturday, March 21st from 2 – 5p.m.
Roger was born on February 23, 1948 in Moscow, Idaho to Robert and Doris Ainsworth. He graduated from Chewelah High School in 1966, and from Spokane Community College with an Associates Degree in Electronics in 1969. Roger served his country in the United States Navy for seven years. He then started a 30 year career with Avista Utility Company as a Relay Technician.
On November 6, 1987, Roger married Kathy Rinard in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They have since resided in Clark Fork.
Roger enjoyed white water rafting, bonfires, the outdoors and a good book. More than anything, he was always up for a good time with family and friends. Roger was a loving and dependable husband, father, grandfather and friend to many, with an infectious smile and a great laugh. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, his sons, Robert (Kirstina) Ainsworth & Jacob (Margie) Ainsworth of Colorado Springs, Co, his daughters, Keely (Ty) Oliver & Kelsey Kinzer of Sandpoint, his four grandchildren, Alex, Erica, Kyra & Ryker Ainsworth of Colorado Springs, Co, and his sister, Sherie Knadler of Coeur d’Alene, Id. He was preceded into death by his parents and one brother Jim.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clark Fork Food Bank, c/o Pat Derr, PO Box 176, Clark Fork, ID 83811, Panhandle Animal Shelter, 870 Kootenai Cut-Off Road, Ponderay, ID 83852, or the charity of your choice.

Brianna Kay (Wheeler) Wagner, 25, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint with Charley Packard officiating. A reception will follow in the Lakeview Funeral Home Reception Area.
Brianna was born on June 23, 1983 in Sun Valley, California to Tom and Alison Wheeler. She moved to Sandpoint when she was five years old, grew up, attended schools and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 2001.
She then moved to Crescent City, CA to attend College of the Redwoods and she also worked at the Elk Valley Casino. She then moved to Portland, OR where she worked for Boost Mobile and Wells Fargo Bank.
Brianna married Ryan Wagner on the beach at Seaside, OR on March 31, 2007. The couple has one daughter Kylie. The family moved back to Sandpoint in 2008.
She will be remembered for her infectious smile that could always light up a room. She loved to have fun and laugh, and her new found joy was being a mother and wife. Brianna was a “good sport,” enjoyed athletics and her favorite TV show was CSI. She also enjoyed snowboarding, painting, drawing, reading, surfing and spending time on the beach. Her miniature longhaired daschund, “Dahlia” will miss her.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ryan Wagner of Sandpoint, ID; daughter, Kylie Wagner (11 mo.); father, Tom Wheeler of Sandpoint, ID; brother, Tommy (Danielle) Wheeler of Crescent City, CA; grandmother, Kathy Slayton of San Diego, CA; in-laws, Dave (Becky) Wagner of Bonnie Lake, WA and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother Alison in 2008.
Memorial donations may be made in Brianna’s name to U.S. Bank.

Jerry Janet ‘Granny’ Vickers, 75, passed away on Sunday, January 25th, 2009 at her home in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Memorial Services will be held at 4pm, Friday, February 6th at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1900 Pine Street, Sandpoint. A potluck reception will be held after the Memorial at 1519 Main Street.
Jerry was born September 30th, 1933 in Loving, New Mexico, the daughter of Charles ’Bud’ and Pauline Sanford.
She grew up in the small town of Loving and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1951. Jerry married Zed Horace Vickers and moved to Orange, CA, where she raised two sons Kevin Wesley and Wade Alan. One of her accomplishments was to be named in: ”Who’s Who” of American Business Women for her management skills in the publications fields.
Jerry moved to Sandpoint, ID in 1989 and found her true passion; working with kids. She worked at Sandpoint Middle School as Detention Monitor from 1992 until she retired in 2004. A job she truly loved.
Granny is survived by sons, Kevin Vickers and Wade Vickers; grandchildren, Coleman, Daryl, Lucas, Myca, Kevin, Rachel, Cassandra, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Nehemiah and Kevyn also survive.
Anyone who knew Jerry knows that we could easily fill this paper with her adventures and accomplishments in life. In her passing she will be greatly missed by all who’s lives she touched.

Elvira Marcele Peterson “Petie” Morley, 93, of Sandpoint, Idaho, left us on Friday, February 13, 2009 for a faith and family built future of peace. At her request, no services will be held.
She was born at 12:30 am on December 26, 1915 in Denver, CO to Ernest and Estella Peterson. “Grandma Pete” didn’t want to share her daughter’s birthday with Baby Jesus, so she waited until 12:30 to give birth. Petie fell at 12:30 am, December 26, 2008 at her home, the exact time that she was born 93 years before. This fall lead to her death, because of the respiratory distress and congestive heart failure.
Petie’s father was a traveling salesman for National Cash Register Company, and the family moved often, including Pueblo, Spokane, Pasadena, and Los Angeles. Petie met “Daddy” or “Pop” in 1935 at Bullocks Department Store in downtown Los Angeles, Herbert Guy Morley was to be the love of her life. They were married in Pasadena on September 8, 1940, and went camping, fishing, and hunting (Pop’s first deer) for their honeymoon!
Herb was an LA City Fireman, and Petie was a stay at home mom until the kids were old enough for school, she then went back to work as a secretary for the LA Board of Education. After retiring they traveled a lot, visiting family and train collector friends. Herb died in 1984, and Petie stayed in LA for several years, then she moved to Shaver Lake, CA to be closer to her daughter Nan, and in 1993 she moved to Sandpoint.
Petie was raised with 5 sisters, a strong faith, family, church and community activities kept every one of the 6 girls united, a bond that has lasted thru 2009. Petie was a member of the First Lutheran Church, and an honorary member of the Bonner General Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting at church, bible studies, gardening, fishing, and cooking. Petie will be remembered for her big smile and warm-caring heart.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Nancy A. Morley of Sandpoint, ID; sons, Roger S. (Connie) Morley of Sandpoint, ID and Craig E. (Marlene) Morley of Carnation, WA; three grandchildren Teneka Morley-Short, Tyler Morley and Kate Morley; and three great grandchildren Spencer, Parker and Carson. She is also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.
Petie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herb, and five sisters Evelyn, Marjorie, Dorothy, Shirley and Eunice.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice; otherwise, put a smile on your face and do or say something nice to someone.

Keith Roger “Kit” St. Cyr, 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at his home in Sagle, ID. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 29th at the new St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on the corner of Ontario and Lincoln with Fr. Dennis C. Day officiating.
Kit was born on May 6, 1938 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada to Martial and Ester St. Cyr. He grew up and attended schools in Swift Current, later serving in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Kit married Phyllis Cossette on November 27, 1963 in Calgary, Alberta. The couple lived in Duluth, MN. Kit owned and operated Envirotech Ventures, which developed, manufactured and distributed pest control agents. The couple moved to their home on Lake Pend Oreille in 1999.
Kit was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He loved his dog “Brodie” and his cat “Meow.” He enjoyed hunting big game and bird hunting with his labs. He also enjoyed reading, and spending time with Phyllis boating, dancing and traveling.
He is survived by his son, Cordell (Diane) St. Cyr of Gillette, WY; brother, Bill St. Cyr of Calgary, Canada; two grand daughters, Kaitlyn St. Cyr and Allison St. Cyr; step-daughter, Leann Bjella of Everett, WA; three step-sons, Douglas Renier of White Bear Lake, MN, Kent Renier of Bloomington, MN and Dean Renier of Duluth, MN
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Phyllis.
