In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by two sons, Tim Janello of Christopher and James B. Janello of Chicago; two grandchildren; one brother, Joe Janello of Christopher; three sisters, Patty Jane Janello of Herrin, Barbara Linneweber of Christopher and Lena Mondoni of Benton; two special friends Sue and Randy Majdich.
His parents, one brother, Frank Janello and one sister, Mayme Porter preceded him in death.
MARGIE HENNEMAN
Christopher - Margie Henneman, 74, died at 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in her home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Sesser. Friends may call from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Henneman was born on Nov. 1, 1925, in Christopher, the daughter of Hiley Eldridge and Zora Vanzandt Reed. Her mother survives.
She was married to Joseph Henneman, and he preceded her in death.
RONALD EUGENE GOBTOP
Sesser - Ronald Eugene Gobtop, 58, died at 7:11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at his residence in Sesser, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Sesser, with the Rev. Woody Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Sesser. Friends may call at the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Gobtop was born on Jan. 14, 1952, in Coello, the son of Pete and Laura (Van Landingham) Gobtop. He married Brenda Sue King on July 20,1961 and she survives.
He worked for several years at Freeman Coal Company, Mine No. 3 in Waltonville and also worked for Monterey Coal Company, in Albers. He also worked for Tri-State Expidite Freight, in recent years.
Mr. Gobtop served on the Sesser City Council as an alderman for 17 years and was also a former Sesser precinct committeeman. He also served as a trustee of the Goode Township Community Building, was a member of the Ainad Temple of East St. Louis, the Sesser-Valier Booster Club, the Sesser Masonic Lodge 918 and the Scottish Rite.
Along with his wife Brenda, he is also survived by one son, Tony James Gobtop of Sesser; one daughter, Marla Renell Magnusson, of Sesser; three grandchildren, Anthony James Gobtop, William Eugene Magnusson and Olivia June Stinson, all of Sesser; three brothers, Clifford Gobtop of Sesser, William and wife Beulah of Lake of Ozarks, Mo.; and Randall and wife Denise, of Sesser; two sisters, Delores Razor, of West Frankfort and Marcene and husband George Bymaster, of Valier.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
LOLA M. TROGOLO
Coello - Lola M. Trogolo, died on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at 5:30 a.m. in the Marion Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher, with burial to follow in the Harrison Cemetery, Buckner. Friends may call Monday after 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Trogolo was born on May 20, 1911, in Christopher, the daughter of James and Lulia Smith. She married Dominic Trogolo in 1946 in Christopher, and he died on June 17, 1985.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She helped establish the Coello Homecoming and served as a police magistrate in Coello also.
Survivors include one son, Don and wife Linda Trogolo of Coello; three grandchildren, J.D. Trogolo of Coello; Donna and husband John Ley of Apache Junction, Az. and Deanne Trogolo of Mesa, Az.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sister Ruby, and two infant children.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
LELA TRUSTY
Benton - Lela Trusty, 81, died at 9:05 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16 at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, with the Rev. Steven Flock officiating. Burial will be in the Atkin Cemetery in Omaha, Ill. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Trusty was born on Aug. 1, 1919, in Eldorado, the daughter of John and Ella (Heck) Massey. She married Carl Trusty on Feb. 22, 1936.
Mrs. Trusty was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Charles and wife Dorothy Trusty, Algonquin, Ill.; four daughters, Barbara Irvin, South Elgin, Kathryn Sinks, Benton, Freda and husband Gary Smith, Carpentersville and Tammy and husband Allen Tarrence, Dale; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Ollie Brown and Ethel Massey.
NETA PANIZZI
Highland - Neta Panizzi, 90, former Sesser resident, died at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland on Monday, Oct. 23, 2000.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home, Sesser, with the Rev. Dan Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday to the funeral home.
Mrs. Pinazzi was born on Oct. 28, 1910, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Fiorenzi. She was married to Leonard Panizzi. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter Eleanor and husband Frank Grzyb of Highland; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Tasso Fiorenzi of DeSoto.
KERBY EUBANKS
West Frankfort - Kerby Eubanks, 82, died at 10:35 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at the Parkview Care Center in West Frankfort.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Eubanks was born on Feb. 15, 1918, in Sesser, the son of Stan and Sarah (Pitchford) Eubanks. He married the former Joyce Terry on May 24, 1976, and she survives.
Mr. Eubanks was a retired construction millwright and a former member of the Carpenter's Union. He attended the Full Gospel Church in Springfield, Mo.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Eubanks, West Frankfort, a son Larry and wife Judy Eubanks, Marion, and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
ROBERT (BOB) L. BEATTY
West Frankfort - Robert L. Beatty, 82, a former West City resident, died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Beatty was born on July 25, 1918, in Franklin County, the son of George and Ida (Holderfield) Beatty. He married the former Ruth Knight and she preceded him in death on Aug. 13, 1993.
Mr. Beatty was a retired heavy equipment operator for the West City Street Department.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis McMahon, Benton, Mary Atwood, West Frankfort, Sue Risley and husband Noble, Sesser; seven grandchildren, Pam Dorris, Benton, Karen Atwood, West Frankfort, Jim McMahon, Flora, Phillip McMahon, Benton, Bobby Risley, Christopher, Brian Risley, Sesser, Greg Risley, Zeigler; twelve great-grandchildren, Megan, Mallory, Austin, Brianna, Colleen, Emma, Jordan, Ian, Sam, Tyler, Dylan, Shawna; a sister, Florine Vircani, Moline, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four sisters, Winnie McCurtis, Jesse Owens, Nettie James, Annie Hedges, four brothers, Bert, Clyde, Ed, and George Beatty, and two granddaughters, Paula McMahon Sherley, Rebecca Atwood.

JAMES CLYDE BARNFIELD
McLeansboro - James Clyde Barnfield, 79, died on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, in St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, Ind.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from noon until time of service on Tuesday to the funeral home.
Mr. Barnfield was born on July 13, 1921, in Franklin County, the son of Clyde and Pearl (Hobbs) Barnfield. He was married to Janice (Betts) Barnfield on March 21, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She died in July of 1989.
He was a maintenance worker for the Zillah Wash. School system, and attended the Nazarene Church of Zillah. He lived in the Zillah area for 50 years, and was an avid fisherman.
He served in the Coast Guard during World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Bette Carlton of McLeansboro; two brothers, Richard Barnfield and wife Carmen of Benton, Bill Barnfield and wife Phyllis of Benton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
CHARLES O. BROY
West Frankfort - Charles O. Broy, 58, died Feb. 2, 2001, at the St. Louis University Hospital. Services were held Monday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in West Frankfort, with Ministers Mike Adkins and Lloyd Whittaker officiating. Burial was in the Tower Heights Cemetery. Masonic Rites were conducted by Benton Lodge #64 at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home.
Mr. Broy was born on July 19, 1932, in West Frankfort, the son of Charles G. and Ilene (Schram) Broy. He was married to Rhonda (McDaniel) Biddle on Dec. 5, 2000 in Las Vegas and she survives.
He was very involved in politics, and was chairman of the Franklin County Democratic party. He served as Chief of Police for West Frankfort, and had been a deputy for the Franklin County Sheriff's department. He was also a private detective and served as a Denning Township Trustee and Denning Precinct Committeeman. He had formerly worked for the Illinois Secretary of State Police.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed baseball very much. He served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife Rhonda, he is survived by two sons, Chuck Broy of West Frankfort, Willie Broy and wife Karen of Dacula, Georgia.; one daughter, Cara Broy of West Frankfort; two stepdaughters, Amanda and Ashley Biddle, both of West Frankfort; eight grandchildren; one brother, Jarrett Broy and wife Dena of West Frankfort; one sister, Judy Secrest and husband Scott of Columbus, Ind.; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Greg Melvin and Brandon Williford, both of West Frankfort.
He wa preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Masonic Lodge #64 of Benton, and will be accepted at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home, West Frankfort.
