Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Danforth, with the Rev. James Gerth officiating. Burial will be in the Gilman cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Redenius Funeral Home, Gilman, and for one hour before the services Wednesday at the church.

FARMER CITY – Elda L. Murphy, 62, of Farmer City died at 7:38 a.m. Monday (Jan. 25, 1999) in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church, Farmer City. Dr. Don Crittenden will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
There will be no visitation.

ASHMORE – Dorothy Victoria Toland Ogdon, 87, of Ashmore died Sunday (Jan. 24, 1999) at the Sullivan Convalescent Center, Sullivan, Ind.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Union cemetery, Oakland. The Rev. Dean Speece will officiate.

CHATSWORTH – Roscoe O. Read, 86, of Chatsworth, formerly of Strawn, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday (Jan. 25, 1999) at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chatsworth. The Rev. Scott Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Strawn cemetery, Strawn.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hager Memorial Home, 311 E. Walnut St., Chatsworth.

NEWMAN – Funeral services for Sarah Ellen Shirley, 80, of Peru, Ind., formerly of Newman, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Joines Funeral Home, 401 W. Gillogly St., Newman. The Rev. Ed Barnes will officiate.
Burial will be in the Albin cemetery, south of Newman.
