GLENVIEW – Marilyn Mertes "Mert" Dittmann, 74, of Glenview, formerly of Elgin and Champaign, died Sunday (Jan. 31, 1999) at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview.
Funeral services will be at 6 tonight at Wait Ross Allanson Elgin Funeral Home, 51 Center St., Elgin. The Rev. James L. Risk III will officiate. A private burial will be held.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

SIBLEY – Edith K. Fricke, 89, of Sibley died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 31, 1999) at The Lutheran Home of Greater Peoria, Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sibley. The Rev. William Hecht will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Sibley.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
