Dr. Lisa Perozynski of Carlsbad, New Mexico
Memorial services for Dr. Lisa Perozynski, 31, were held Wednesday, at First United Methodist Church, Carlsbad.
Born June 5, 1967, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Gil and Jean Stableton Baron, she died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.
Raised in Rochester, Minn., she graduated from John Marshall High School in 1985. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota in 1989, receiving her bachelor of science degree. Lisa received her masters of science in 1991, and her Ph. D. in 1996, in human development from the University of Illinoisin ChampaignUrbana. While receiving her education, she taught at Heartland Community College in Bloomington, Ill. and was a graduate assistant at the University of Illinois. She moved to Carlsbad in 1995, and married Robert P. Perozynski II on Sept. 1, 1996, in Carlsbad. She taught early childhood development, psychology and education at New Mexico State University in Carlsbad and College of the Southwest. She was a volunteer for the Eddy County CASA receiving the Volunteer of the Year award in 1997.
She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Gamma Delta Graduate Honor Societies and Western Psychological Association.
Survivors include her husband, Robert P. Perozynski II of Carlsbad; parents, Gil and Jean Baron of Rochester, Minn.; brother, Mark Baron of Rochester; sister, Julie Sweeney of Onaha, Neb.; and grandmothers, Minnie Stableton of Rochester and Margaret Baron of Apple Valley, Minn.
Arrangements were made by West Funeral Home, Carlsbad.

Henry H. Schorsch Sr. of Chicago
Funeral services for Henry H. Schorsch Sr., 73, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Malec and Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago.
Born Oct. 11, 1925, he died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Our Lady of the Resurrection. Entombment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mr. Schorsch served during World War II as a sergeant in the Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (nee Lis); sons, Henry Jr. (Jenesta), Steven (Harriet) and Kenneth (Susan) Schorsch; daughter, Sandra Mendyk; brother, Raymond (Betty Jean) Schorsch; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

James V. Abbinante of Palatine
Prayers for James V. Abbinante, 68, will be said at 9 a.m. Tuesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/ Roselle Rd.), Roselle. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of Josephine (nee Marsiglia); devoted father of Robert, Toni and Gina Abbinante; and dear brother of Ben (Sandy) and Fred (Grace) Greco.

Blanche W. Albert of Glen Ellyn
A memorial service for Blanche W. Albert will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, at First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn, located at the corner of Forest and Anthony in Glen Ellyn.
Born July 30, 1923, in Chicago, she died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at the RML Hospital in Hinsdale. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
Mrs. Albert was a homemaker and an artist. A World War II veteran, she had served in the WAVES as a radio operator at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in applied art. Her art activities included teaching, painting acrylics, sculpting, collages and graphics. Her many other interests included the Lilac Chapter of the Garden Club, the DuPage Art League, the Art Institute, the Sigma Kappa sorority and the First Congregational Church. She was also an avid golfer at the Village Links and a longtime bowler at Hesterman's. In earlier days she had appeared on stage with the Masque and Babel Thespian Group of the Junior Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband of almost50 years, David Albert of Glen Ellyn; sons, Keith (Lavonne) Albert of Carol Stream and Steven (Susan) Albert of Naperville; daughters, Laurie (Jack) Nichols of Burglengenfeld, Germany and Jill (Ned) Schulz of Godfrey; grandchildren, Yvonne, David, Jeanna, Scott, Tim and Hailey; and sister, Geraldine Leonard of New Port Richie, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Blanche Wiggins; brother, Frederick; and sisters, Janice and Genivieve.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn, 535 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, or to the DuPage Art League, 218 W. Front St., Wheaton, IL 60187.

Jeffrey Andrews formerly of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for Jeffrey Andrews, 47, of Las Vegas, Nev., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born July 16, 1951, in Libertyville, he died suddenly Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Employed in telemarketing, he was a former member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville.
Survivors include his mother, Joan Gastfield (nee Duba) of Cary; and sisters, Robin Dukes of Phoenix, Ariz. and Lisa Gastfield of Mundelein.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sam (Catherine) Andrews of Arizona.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Bridie L. Bannon
Services for Bridie L. Bannon (nee Lyons) will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, from Barr Funeral Home, 6222 Broadway, Chicago, going to St. Henry Church, for a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
She was the wife of the late Terrence P. Bannon; proud mother of Terrence (Barbara) Bannon; sister of the late Patrick, Katie, Mary Garner, John and Austin; aunt of John, Irene Cheswick, Raymond, Nora and Austin; honorary aunt of many; and loving godmother of Maureen Piskun.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Marilyn A. Becher of Des Plaines
Services for Marilyn A. Becher (nee Lutz), 75, formerly of Wheeling, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born Aug. 24, 1923, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital. Burial will be private.
A two-year resident of Des Plaines, she was a claims adjuster at Walgreens in the Deerfield office.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie A. (Jack) Douglas of San Jose, Calif.; brother, Ken (Dottie) Lutz of State College, Pa.; sister, Jeanne (Ernie) Busse of Mount Prospect; grandchildren, Chris, Cassie, Jessica, Carson and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Jacklyn and Kathryn; four nieces; three nephews; and several grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services today, at the funeral home.

Carolyn J. Bertolli of Fox Lake
Services for Carolyn J. Bertolli, 51, formerly of St. Charles, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Born Dec. 20, 1947, in Chicago, Mrs. Bertolli died suddenly Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at home.
A resident of Fox Lake for the past two years, she was a 1965 graduate of Alvernia High School in Chicago and Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio, with a degree in dietetics. Multi-talented, Carolyn was the owner of Fanatics, a custom embroidery business in St. Charles. As an animal lover and dog groomer, owned Bowzer's Barber Shop while living in Toronto, Canada.
An excellent wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Chester `Chet' Bertolli of Fox Lake and children, Michael Bertolli of Kennesaw, Ga., Christopher Bertolli of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Cara Bertolli attending Western Illinois University in Macomb; mother, Elizabeth Shibovich and sister, Barbara Pomagier, both of Mundelein; and brother, Frank (Lynn) Shibovich of Vancouver, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank L. Shibovich on June 9, 1997.
Friends of the family may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Elsie Mae Branch of Elgin
Visitation for Elsie Mae Branch, 88, formerly of Newport News, Va., will be held Tuesday, at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Home, 51 Center St., Elgin.
Born Sept. 10, 1910, in Norfolk, Va., to John Henry Wallace and Molly Rebecca Lewis, she died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital inElgin. Interment will be in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News.
She is survived by her son, Ernest B. (Jane Hutson) Branch of Elgin; daughter, Judene (Ray) Hartless of Chesapeake, Va.; grandchildren, Gregory Branch, Elizabeth(Anthony) Bonasera, Kevin Branch, Mark (Kimberly) Branch, Glenn (Christy) Hartless and David Hartless; and great-grandchildren, Joel Bonasera, Alessandra Jane Bonasera, James Bonasera and Jonathan Riley Branch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Branch, whom she married in 1931 and who preceded her in 1996.

Marie E. Carlson of Hampshire
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie E. Carlson, 88, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Hampshire. The Rev. Thomas Brantman will officiate.
Born May 19, 1910, in Hampshire, the 10th child of Karl and Mary (nee Schneider) Schiesher, she passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Hampshire, Marie was the valedictorian of Hampshire High School's Class of 1927. She had worked in the office of the J. B. Inderrieden Canning Company and the Hampshire Milk Company before becoming editor of the Hampshire Register Newspaper, a position she held for 12 years.
Mrs. Carlson was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Robison of Hampshire; son, Gene Carlson of Stillwater, Okla.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Martha Schiesher of Chicago Heights and Anna Meyer of Plato Center.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Walter C. Carlson, April 22, 1997; brothers, Frank, George and Ralph Schiesher; and sisters, Lorena Dumoulin, Henrietta Drendel, Rose Lehman, Regina Herman and Margaret Grollemond.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, at the church, with a rosary service at 4 p.m.
Masses or memorials in her name may be made to the church.

Ivona `Margaret' DeRaedt of St. Charles
A funeral Mass for Ivona `Margaret' DeRaedt, 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Patrick Church, 408 Cedar St., St. Charles, with the Rev. Joseph B. Linster, celebrant.
Born May 19, 1912, in Chicago, to Edward and Euphrasie (nee Beghyn) Verbiest, she died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
Upon completing her education, Mrs. DeRaedt was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone until her retirement in 1959.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Prime Timers of St. Patrick Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Margaret is survived by her sister, Alice (Leon) DeBeleyr of St. Germaine, Wis., and many nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rime `Ray' DeRaedt, in 1987, and brother, Leo Verbiest.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles, where a liturgical wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Contributions in Margaret's name may be made to Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin, or to a charity of donor's choice.
