Charles R. Fineout of Gurnee
Services for Charles R. Fineout, 88, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee.
Born April 13, 1910, in Douglas, Ariz., hedied Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Provena St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Chicago.
An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Fineout had also served in the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margaret Fineout; son, Charles (Gail) Fineout of Park City; daughter, Roberta (Thomas) Wilding of Ocala, Fla.; and grandchildren, Connie, Jason, Jessica and Jennifer.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Harry L. `Bud' Greenholt formerly of Naperville
A memorial service for Harry L. `Bud' Greenholt, 69, of Forest Park, will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville.
Born Dec. 18, 1929, in Chicago, he died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Interment will be private.
Mr. Greenholt had lived from 1993 to mid 1998 in Naperville, moving here from San Diego, Calif. He worked for the First National Bank of Chicago in Chicago from 1954, until his retirement in 1987. He retired as a lieutenant in the security department for internal and external problems. He served his country in combat for the Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He was an active member of the American Legion and enjoyed traveling, his family and people.
Survivors include his sons, Mark (fiancee Barb Krah) and Daniel, both of Oak Park and Michael (Karen) Greenholt of Naperville; brother, Einar (Noretta) Greenholt of Chicago; sister, Eleanor (Robert) Horder of Arlington Heights; four granddaughters; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (nee Riker); and parents, Einar and Ella (nee Anderson) Greenholt.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Eleanor A. Hinrichs of Elgin
Private family services for Eleanor A. Hinrichs, 79, will be held Monday. The Rev. Harold Rose will officiate.
Born Jan. 13, 1920, in Addison, the daughter of Fredrick and Amanda (nee Klipp) Beckmann, she died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Sherman Hospital.
Burial will be in East Dundee Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinrichs was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol (John) Stickling of Elgin; grandson, Billy Menz of Austin, Texas; granddaughters, Michelle (James) Gissey of Elgin, Tammy (James) Vandermay of Glendale Heights and Trisha Stickling of Elgin; great-grandson, Brandon Giesey of Elgin; brothers, Harold (Virginia) Beckmann of Central City, Ky. and Kenneth (Carol) Beckmann of Arlington Heights; sisters, Florence Brady of Arlington Heights, Lorraine (Al) Wendland of Elmhurst, Viola (Wally) Vlasak of Bartlett and Dorothy (Lou) Donovan of Rockford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Hinrichs, in 1987; and brother, Vernon Beckmann.
Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, at O'Connor and Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin.

Jeannette Hock
Funeral services for Jeannette Hock (nee Gold), 74, of Hilliard, Ohio, were held on Friday, in Columbus, Ohio.
Born Oct. 19, 1924, in Columbus, to Bernard and Rose Gold, she died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at the Arbors at Hilliard. Interment was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Columbus.
Mrs. Hock was a member of Potter's House Church of God in Columbus.
Survivors include her children, Seth (Mary) Hock of Columbus and Samara (David) Dykstra of Palatine; grandchildren, Jonathan (Alonya) and Michelle Hock, Stellana (Andy) Korb, and Benjamin, Joshua and David Dykstra; great-grandchild, Jordan Hock; brother, Eli Gold of New York; and sister, Ruth (Richard) Rapenport of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mark J. Janky Jr. of Batavia
Prayers for Mark J. Janky Jr., 6 months, will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia.
Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Batavia. Rev. David Huber will officiate.
Born July 29, 1998, in Oak Lawn, the son of Mark J. Sr. and Marcel `Marcy' A. (nee Goryl) Janky, he died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at the Hope Children's Hospital/Heart Institute in Oak Lawn, Ill.
Interment will be in West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Marissa and Maranda Janky; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Elaine Janky of Plainfield; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Gergits of Palos Heights; aunts, Pam (John) Hardy of Wausaukee, Wis. and Doreen (Mike) Shankel of Monee; and uncle, Dave (Flor) Janky of Glendale Heights.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter `Barts' and Rosemarie Goryl; and uncle, Michael Janky.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home, with a liturgical wake service at 7 p.m.

Marie M. Javaid of Glen Ellyn
Funeral services for Marie M. Javaid, 52, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. (one block east of Naperville Rd.), Wheaton.
Mrs. Javaid died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Wheaton Cemetery.
A 10-year resident of Glen Ellyn, she was a crusader against the fight for breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Javaid Javaid; son, Naser; and mother, Yvonne Dunwody.

Florence M. Kotek of Wheaton

Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church.
Born May 6, 1922, in Lombard, she died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Wheaton, she was a member of St. Michael Church.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis M. (Janet) and Joseph P.; grandsons, Brian, Kevin and James; sister, Dolorosa M. Mueller; and brother, Lawrence Muldoon.
She was preceded in deathby her husband, Joseph Kotek; brothers, Thomas, Fred, Roy and Raymond Muldoon; and sister, Della M. Fay.

Margaret Mary Laws of Arlington Heights
Services for Margaret Mary Laws (nee Mann), 67, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 467 N. Benton, Palatine.
Born Sept. 16, 1931, in Chicago, she died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at home. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mrs. Laws had worked for many years at the Sears store in Golf Mill Shopping Center. Upon leaving there, she and her husband, Charles, opened Protection, Inc., in Niles. Mrs. Laws was a 1949 graduate of St. Xavier High School and a 1953 graduate of Northwestern University where she had the distinction of being crowned Centennial Queen at Abbot Hall by Tony Bennett.
Mrs. Laws fought a courageous fiveyear battle against ovarian cancer with the help of God, family, doctorsand friends.
She was the beloved wife of Charles Laws; cherished mother of Shawn, Lorrie and Paul Davis; dear stepmother of Charles, Timothy (Lola) and Kimberly (Gil) Garduno; proud and loving grandmother of Anthony, Allana and Margaret; and devoted daughter of the late Leslie F. and Lorretta (nee Hogan) Mann.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Edward G. Matuszak of Cary
Funeral services and interment for Edward G. Matuszak, 82, will beprivate.
Born May 9, 1916, in Cary, he died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
Mr. Matuszak was a retired vice president for RTC Industries in Chicago. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 159 and the C. I. C. (intelligence gathering).
He is survived by his wife, Harriet S. (nee Lewand); children, Gregory Matuszak of Georgia, Ursula (Michael) Przybycien of Hickory Hills and Cynthia (Jerome) Qualkenbush of Cary; brothers, Casmier Matuszak of Wautoma, Wis., Stanley Matuszak of Tucson, Ariz. and John Matuszak of Chicago; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary M. Meehan of Naperville
Prayers for Mary M. Meehan, 83, will be said at 9 a.m. Monday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 26 N. Ellsworth, Naperville.
Born Nov. 7, 1915, in Chicago, Mrs. Meehan died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Meehan was a homemaker and had been a resident of Naperville for 15 years, a longtime resident of the Martin Avenue Apartments.
Survivors include her daughters, Sally (Charles) Horvath of Lisle and Mary (Tim) Schye of Naperville; and grandchildren, Brian (Kim) Horvath of Chicago, Kerry Horvath (fiancee Brad) of Bolingbrook, and Sara, Ryan, Kyle and Christopher Schye, all of Naperville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1973; and several brothers and sisters.
