DANVILLE – Funeral services for Moses Nolan, 71, of Danville will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Affairs Protestant Chapel, Danville. Chaplain Garth Lehman will officiate.
Burial will be in the Danville National cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St., Danville, and from noon to the time of services Friday at the chapel. The family will be present Friday at the chapel.
Mr. Nolan died at 8:15 a.m. Monday (Nov. 8, 1999) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville.

DANVILLE – Lois R. Pate, 77, of Danville died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 7, 1999) at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Indianola.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Robert Rottet
RANTOUL – Funeral services for Robert James Rottet, 33, of Rantoul will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, 401 Glenwood, Rantoul. The Rev. Robert Gorbold will officiate.
Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery, Rantoul.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Mr. Rottet died Thursday (Nov. 4, 1999) at Fayetteville, N.C.
Alexander Russell Jr.
CHARLESTON – Funeral services for Alexander "Alex" Bernard Russell Jr., 52, of Charleston, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston. The Rev. Mark Prevo will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Russell died Monday (Nov. 8, 1999) at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Benton, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

UMATILLE, Fla. – Margaret Sarah "Peggy" Sampson, 85, of Umatille, Fla., formerly of Mattoon, died at 7:25 p.m. Friday (Nov. 5, 1999) at Oakwood Nursing Home, Eustis, Fla.
Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dodge Grove cemetery, Mattoon. The Rev. Robert C. Clark will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Schilling Funeral Home, 1301 Charleston Avenue, Mattoon, is in charge of arrangements.

DANVILLE – Frederick Charles VanHorne, 75, of Danville died Monday morning (Nov. 8, 1999) at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Mausoleum, Danville. Chaplain Garth Lehman will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery.

LeROY – Virgil Eugene Ester, 61, of LeRoy, formerly of Farmer City, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at his home.
Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McCord cemetery, rural Farmer City. The Rev. Dale L. Cox will officiate.
