URBANA – Funeral services for Dr. L. Dean Lewis, 97, of Urbana, a longtime physician at the University of Illinois, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U. The Rev. Sharon Neufer Emswiler will officiate.
Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum, Champaign.
There will be no visitation.
Dr. Lewis died at 7:55 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 26, 2000) at The Carle Arbours, Savoy.

DECATUR – Thelma Miles McIlvain, 89, of Decatur and Farmer City died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 27, 2000) at Heritage Manor, Mount Zion.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Britlinger's Funeral Home, 2827 N. Oakland, Decatur. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Farmer City.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

MARION – Carl William Pate, 56, of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, formerly of Marion, died Aug. 18, 2000, in Canada.

GEORGETOWN – George Dietkus, 82, of Georgetown died at 6:40 a.m. Monday (Sept. 25, 2000) at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Danville.
