Marcia A. Stevens of St. Charles
Memorial services for Marcia A. Stevens (nee McCornak), 65, will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church of St. Charles, East Main and Third Avenue, St. Charles. The Rev. Philip M. Dripps will officiate.
Born April 1, 1933, in St. Charles, she died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at Rosewood Care Center, Elgin. Interment will be private.
A lifelong resident of St. Charles, Mrs. Stevens was a graduate of St. Charles High School and had attended the University of Illinois where she studied art.
She was very active and involved in the arts and community outreach programs in St. Charles, and was a member of Baker Memorial United Methodist Church of St. Charles.
Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Allison Stevens of Boulder, Colo.; son, Paul Ryan (Eleni) Stevens of St. Louis, Mo.; grandson, Paul Erol Stevens; and brother, Robert McCornak ofColorado Springs, Colo., formerly of St. Charles.
Contributions in Marcia Stevens' memory may be made to the St. Charles Heritage Center, 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174.

Alanna Oriel Walker of Elgin
Services for Alanna Oriel Walker, 19, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Bethesda Church of God in Christ, with the Rev. Edward Gressette officiating.
Born April 2, 1979, in Elgin, to Samuel and Frances (nee Birth) Walker, she died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee Township Cemetery East.
Ms. Walker was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a graduate of the Lincoln Challenge Program of Rantoul, Ill.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Syerra Lemon of Elgin; brother, Brian (Jamie) Walker of Elgin; sister, Deirdre Mathis of Chicago; special friend, Cameron Lemon of Elgin; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the church.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Mary Behm Weidner of Libertyville
Funeral services for Mary Behm Weidner (nee Obenauf), 91, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, and continue to St. Mary's Church Fremont Center for a 10 a.m. Mass.
Born Dec. 28, 1907, in Fremont Center, she died Wednesday, Feb. 17,1999, at Winchester House. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mrs. Weidner was one of 13 children and a lifelong Lake County resident. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School, Fremont Center, and a member of St. Mary's Church.
She is survived by her sons, Fred (the late Barbara, nee Steffenhagen) Behm of Libertyville and Thomas (Bonnie Hershberger) Behm of Virginia; grandchildren, Patricia, Robert, Debra and Michael; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Erin, Courtney and Casey; and sisters, Ann Dorfler of Libertyville and Teckla Behm of McHenry.
She was preceded indeath by her husbands, Edward Behm and Rupert Weidner.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Ruth D. Winkler of Lake Villa
Services for Ruth D. Winkler, 66, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Born Jan. 6, 1933, in Rochester, Ind., she passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Interment will be in Willow Lawn Memorial Park, Mundelein.
A longtime resident of Lake County, Mrs. Winkler was raised in Highland Park and had previously lived in Mundelein and Fox Lake. She was a retired, 25-year employee of Underwriters Laboratories in Northbrook.
Surviving are her children, Pamela (Michael) Kean of Bensenville, James (Cynthia) Henriksen of Lake Villa and Gary (Vicky) Henriksen of Security, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Charles (Joyce) Winkler of Michigan, Bob and George Winkler of Park City and Ron Winkler of Buffalo Grove.
Friends of the family may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Wilda B. Young formerly of Wayne
Graveside services for Wilda B. Young, 89, of Chicago, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at Little Woods Cemetery, Wayne.
Born Oct. 19, 1909, in Fort Shell, Kan., Miss Youngdied Monday, Feb. 15, 1999.
She was formerly employed by Corwith and Joan Hamill of Wayne.
Survivors include her brother, Wallace Young of Decatur, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; andbrothers and sisters.
There will be no visitation.

Marilyn E. Zimmerman of Streamwood
Prayers for Marilyn E. Zimmerman, 63, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1152 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine.
Born March 30, 1935, in Hammond, Ind., she died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
She worked as a bond trader for Paine-Webber, and was currently employed by the J. C. Penney Catalog Department.
Survivors include her sister, Marlene Bellamy of Palatine; nieces and nephews, Tim, Beth, David, Ellen, John, Lee Ann, Robert, Barbara, Terry, Julie and Patrick; many great-nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Jack Crist.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Ruth Mae Albert
Funeral services for Ruth Mae Albert, 74, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Acacia Park.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999.
Ms. Albert had lived in Illinois prior to moving to Arizona in 1983. She had been employed as a secretary, and was a member of Willowbrook United Methodist Church in Sun City, Ariz. and the Order of the Eastern Star, Olive Chapter, Oak Lawn.
Survivors include her brother, John (Marlene) Albert; niece, Amy (Christopher) Albert Wilson; nephew, Keith (Maureen) Albert; and great-niece, Lauren Albert.
Memorials may be made to the Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351, or First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights.

Elizabeth `Betty' Anderson of Glen Ellyn
Memorial services for Elizabeth `Betty' Anderson, 78, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, at First United Methodist Church, 424 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn. Dr. E. Doyle Blanton will officiate.
Born May 10, 1920, in Mount Carroll, Ill., she died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at her residence. Burial will be private.
A homemaker, Mrs. Anderson had been a resident of Glen Ellyn since 1948. She earned her bachelor's degree in music from the University of Illinois in 1942. She was very active during her lifetime with the Musician's Club, the Girl Scouts, the Republican Women's Club, the League of Women Voters and community concerts. She was also an active member of First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn. In addition, Mrs. Anderson was a founder of the DuPage Council for Child Development which established the first non-profit Title 20 day care centers in DuPage County in the early 1970s (later adopted by the YWCA).
Surviving are her children, Susan (Erich) Wise of Long Beach, Calif., and Linda (Dick) Worcester of Wheaton; granddaughters, Shannon, Caitlin, Johanna and Molly; and twin brother, retired Col. William Rhodes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Anderson, whom she married in 1946; and brothers, Tom and Bud Rhodes.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or to donor's favorite charity.

Edna Anderson of Inverness
Services for Edna Anderson (nee Grenz), 94, formerly of Park Ridge, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie.
Born Sept. 6, 1904, in Chicago, she died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at Westmoreland in Lake Forest. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Among her special interests, Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, Chapter IM of the PEO, and the Park Ridge Country Club.
She was the beloved wife of the late Norman Anderson; loving mother of Norman F. (Carolyn L.) Anderson of Sarasota, Fla., and Roger A. Anderson of Inverness; dear sister of Frieda Stockof Chicago; and fond aunt of two nieces.
Please omit flowers.
Memorials may be made to a charity of donor's choice.

Walter T. Argast of Elk Grove Village
Services for Walter T. Argast, 67, formerly of Chicago, will beheld at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village.
Born in Chicago, he died at Church Creek Retirement Center. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. Argast retired after 30 years with Warwick Electronics of Chicago.
He was the son of the late Walter T. Sr. and Mildred (nee Cozeluh); brother of Ronald (Jacquie') Argast, William Argast, Lynn (Ronald) Swanson and Mildred Argast; dear uncle of Deanna (Norman) Ellingsen, Nancy (Mark) Colombo, David Swanson, Becky (Frank) Tranchita and Wayne (Donna) Argast; and great-uncle of nine.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
