DANVILLE – Herman W. Tabels, 61, of Danville died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday (April 28, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Pape Memorial Homes and Gardens, Danville.

Charlene Turnipseed

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Charlene Turnipseed, 76, of Champaign will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., C. The Rev. Louella Pence will officiate.

Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Turnipseed died at 5:17 p.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Isabel Weller

CHAMPAIGN – Memorial service may be held at a later date for Isabel M. Weller, 93, of Champaign.

Heath and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weller died at 6:20 a.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) at ManorCare Health Services of Champaign.

Mildred Whitlatch

NEWMAN – Mildred Johnson Wade Whitlatch, 87, of Hilliard, Ohio, died at 3:30 p.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Joines Funeral Home, 401 W. Gillogly, Newman. Burial will be in Young America cemetery, Hume.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Anthony Wilson

DANVILLE – Anthony Wilson, infant son of Leon and Pamela Westland Wilson of Danville, died at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday (April 24, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.

John Boos

CLINTON – John F. Boos, 87, of Clinton died at 12:30 a.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, Clinton. The Rev. Gordon Pillon will officiate. Burial will be in Mausoleum Park cemetery, Clinton.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Sister Mary Budreau

KANKAKEE – Sister Mary Agnes Budreau, 95, of Kankakee died April 18, 2001, at Provena St. Mary's Infirmary, Kankakee.

A funeral Mass was celebrated April 21, 2001, at Provena St. Mary's Chapel, Kankakee. Burial was in Saints Mary and Joseph cemetery, Beaverville.

James Bush

BETTENDORF, Iowa – James R. Bush, 88, of Bettendorf, formerly of Danville, died Thursday, (April 26, 2001) at Genesis Medical Center, Bettendorf.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Asbury United Methodist Church of Bettendorf.

Local visitation in Danville will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pape Memorial Home and Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville.

Masonic services will be conducted at 11 a.m Tuesday at Pape Memorial Home and Gardens.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.

McGinnis Chambers & Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf, is in charge of arrangements.

Martin Cox

CHAMPAIGN – Martin James Cox, 85, of Champaign died at 7:14 a.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) at ManorCare Health Services, Urbana.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana.

Clarence Dalbey

WESTVILLE – Clarence C. Dalbey, 75, of Westville died Thursday (April 26, 2001) at home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westville. Burial will be in the Danville National cemetery, Danville. The Rev. David Erickson will officiate.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lakeside-Urbas Funeral Home, 135 N. West St., Westville.

Ivan Dallas

MATTOON – Ivan Dallas, 94, of Mattoon died at 3:50 p.m. Thursday (April 26, 2001) at home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, 2800 University Drive, Charleston. The Rev. Pat Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in Huckaba cemetery, east of Charleston.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Harper-Swickard Funeral Home, 720 Monroe St., Charleston.

Robert Drake

CHARLESTON – Robert D. Drake, 61, of Charleston died Friday (April 27, 2001) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Arrangements were pending at Adams Funeral Chapel, Charleston.

Dennis Erwin

MATTOON – Dennis Vernon Erwin, 53, of Mattoon died at 3 a.m. April 18, 2001, at home.

Funeral services were April 20 at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, Mattoon. The Rev. Jim Walker and the Rev. Mike Erwin officiated. Burial was in Dodge Grove cemetery, Mattoon, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4325.

William Gibson

BOCA RATON, Fla. – William O. Gibson, 81, of Boca Raton died April 19, 2001, at Margate, Fla.

A memorial service will be at a later date in Danville. All Family Cremation Alternatives, Margate, handled arrangements.

Charles Hemminger

CLINTON – Charles "Sam" Hemminger, 74, of Clinton died at 3:50 a.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) at home.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. J. Kent Hickerson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Clinton, with military rites.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

James Lange

DECATUR – James Michael Lange, 38, of Decatur died at 5:48 p.m. Thursday (April 26, 2001) in a car accident in Decatur.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center Street, Clinton. The Rev. Lloyd Wages will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Clinton.
