William Edward Bedurske formerly of Palatine
Services and interment for William Edward Bedurske, 85, of Lake Zurich, will be private.
Born Jan. 26, 1914, in Palatine, Mr. Bedurske died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at Lexington Health Care Center in Lake Zurich.
Mr. Bedurske was the founder and owner of Deer Grove Corner which he started in 1933, and operated until his retirement in 1976. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his sister, Vietta (Peter) Mickus of Palatine; niece, Petrenelle (Thomas) Smith of Palatine; and grandnieces, Carrie Smith of Palatine and Mike Smith of Palatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Ella Bedurske; and brother, Donald Bedurske.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Arrangements were made by Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, Palatine.

Grace Butirro of Elk Grove Village
Prayers for Grace Butirro (nee DeSilvio), 89, formerly of Fort Myers, Fla., will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (threeblocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at Queen of the Rosary Church, Elk Grove Village.
Born in Bari, Italy, she died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
A retired 20-year employee of Leaf Brand Candy Company in Chicago, she was the wife of the late Frank, he preceded her in death in 1960; mother of Michael (Mary Ann), Robert (Colleen) and Frank (Betty); sister of Nell Surdo and Rose Rano; grandmother of Michael, Rosemary Jordahl, Daniel, Frank, Steven, Robert, Frank, Christopher, Jeffrey; and great-grandmother of five.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Michael Joseph Reilly C. F. A. of Barrington
Prayers for Michael Joseph Reilly C. F. A., 66, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at StirlenPieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Community Parish Center, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington.
Born Aug. 30, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
Mr. Reilly graduated from Wilkes University and entered Officer Candidate School. After receiving a commission, he attended Salvage Diving School and joined the USS Conserver (ARS-39) in the spring of 1956, serving at various times as communications officer, operations officer, navigator and executive officer. During his tour, the ship, homeported in Pearl Harbor, operated extensively throughout thecentral and western Pacific including the Formosa Straits during the Quemoy/Matsu crisis in 1958.
He retired at the rank of captain from the Naval Reserve in 1986, after holding a variety of billets in Chicago during the 1960s and later at Great Lakes. Among his assignments as captain, were command of a unit that supported the strategic plans branch of OPNAV, command of a unit that supported CINCUSNAVEUR staff in London, as inspector general of the 13th Readiness Region.
In 1994, Michael J. Reilly C. F. A. retired as vice president of Investments of American Farm Bureau, Inc. in Park Ridge, Ill., after 28 years of service. Mr. Reilly was a member of St. Anne Catholic Community in Barrington, and his hobbies included golf, sailing, painting and traveling.
While at the American Farm Bureau, he served as chairman of the investment committee of the National Association of Independent Insurers (NAII).
Survivors include his wife, Joanne (nee Fouts), whom he married on Dec. 4, 1965, at St. Anne Church; children, George (Jeanne) Reilly of Arlington Heights, Jolene (Todd) Wheeland of Crystal Lake, Michelle Reilly of Crystal Lake and Michael(Cheryl) Reilly of Algonquin; brother, John (Kay) Reilly of Mountaintop, Pa.; grandchildren, Samuel Wheeland and Jacob Reilly; aunt, Marian Givan of Anderson, S. C.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Thomas P. `Pop' Carroll formerly of Wheaton
Prayers for Thomas P. `Pop' Carroll, 80, of Burlington, Mich., will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. (one block east of Naperville Rd.), Wheaton. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church.
Born Aug. 4, 1918, in NewRochelle, N. Y., he died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, in Michigan. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
Mr. Carroll was former president of Sinclair and Carroll Printing Company of Chicago, retiring in 1985. He was a Navy veteranof World War II.
He was the beloved husband of the late Trudy (nee Roberts); dear father of Susan (Michael) Fenske,Maureen (late Michael) Boyle, Kathleen (Philip) Nash, Angela Carroll, Matthew (Jeanne) Carroll, Elizabeth (Gary) Crist, Virginia (Robert) Stoffel, Thomas and Anne Carroll; loving grandfather of 26; great-grandfather of three; andfond brother of Edmund Carroll.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Anna M. Dvorchak of Lake Zurich

Born Dec. 20, 1918, in Czechoslovakia, she died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at home.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
A retired employee of the Jesuit House of Loyola University, she was a current parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church. She was a former parishioner of St. Timothy Church in Chicago and a former active parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake Parish in Chicago for 23 years from 1940 to 1963.
She was the wife of the late Joseph C.; loving mother `Mamitchka' of Richard (Karen), Jean(Jerry) Jagla, Robert (Cora) and Joseph (Cheryl); sister of Joseph, and the late Vincent, John, Rudolph and Mary; grandmother of 12; and great-grandmother of five.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Dorothy M. Fogarty of Arlington Heights

June E. `Danny' Gengler of Des Plaines
A funeral Mass for June E. `Danny' Gengler, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary Church, Des Plaines.
Born Jan. 14, 1926, in Flint, Mich., she died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at home.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Mrs. Gengler was a registered nurse at Thorek Hospital - Quality Health Care and a nursing consultant for many nursing homes. She was the first honorary woman Cavalier and a member of the Cavalier Drum and Bugle Corps staff from 1969 to 1990.
She was the wife of the late Jerome Gengler; mother of Terri (Scott) Konrick of Des Plaines, Douglas (Adra) Gengler of Oak Park, James (Barbara) Gengler of Gurnee, Jill Gengler of Des Plaines and the late Jerome Scott Gengler; grandmother of Douglas, Scott, Samantha, Raven andBrandon; and aunt of Ruth Mary Ballingash of Michigan.

Mary P. Grabowski of Bloomingdale

A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Alexander; mother of Elaine (Paul) Monas and Janina (Donald) Daraskevich; sister of the late Thomas (Mary) Pieczonka and Vincent (late Mary) Pieczonka; grandmother of Pauline (Richard) Ritthaler, Dennis Monas, Etienne Monas, Carol (Karl) Einfalt, Donald (Kris) Daraskevich Jr., Edward (Victoria) Daraskevich and David (Nina) Daraskevich; and great-grandmother of six.

Richard A. Grajek of Bartlett

Born Oct. 25, 1930, in Chicago, he died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights.

A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired security guard for Harris Bank in Chicago for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann J. (nee Pawelek); children, Kathleen M. (Gary) Klages, David G. and Jeffrey L. (fiancee Jennifer Gibson) Grajek; grandchildren, Garrett and Katrina Klages; and brother, Thomas (Maria) Grajek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Helena Grajek; and brother, Ronald Grajek.

Stanley A. Krance of West Chicago
Services for Stanley A. Krance, 81, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, West Chicago.
Born Feb. 3, 1918, in Barberton, Ohio, he passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheaton. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
A resident of West Chicago for the past 21 years, Mr. Krance was a member of St. Mary's Church of West Chicago. Prior to his retirement in 1989, he had worked for more than 50 years as a manufacturing representative for automotive accessories.
Survivors include his daughters, Deborah (James) Cunningham of Elmhurst and Cecelia (Martin) Nero of Naperville; sons, Dr. Robert (Pam) Krance of Houston, Texas, and Mark (Frances) Krance of Peotone; sister, Maryanne Wilkowski; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Krance, in January 1999; parents, Jacob and Margaret Krance; and brother, Walter Krance.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
