DANVILLE - Frederick N. McKinney, 78, of Danville died at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Leek and Sons Funeral Home, Danville.

Robert Moore

MARTINSVILLE - Robert L. Moore, 89, of Martinsville died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at the Burnside Nursing Home, Marshall.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Ridgelawn cemetery, Martinsville.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with Masonic services at 8 p.m., at Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville.

John Myler

COVINGTON, Ind. - John Michael Myler, 50, of Covington, Ind., died at 1 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 13, 2001) at the Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System, Danville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville. The Rev. Mike Whitaker will officiate. Burial with military rites by the American Legion will be in Rossville cemetery, Rossville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Velma Reardon

POTOMAC - Velma Reardon, 101, of Potomac died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at the Hoopeston Community Memorial Nursing Home, Hoopeston.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 400 N. Vermilion St., Potomac.

Frances Sanders

COVINGTON, Ind. - Frances Sanders, 59, of Covington, Ind., formerly of Clinton, died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 13, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home, 622 Third St., Covington, Ind. Gary Witt will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Odell Scoby

CHAMPAIGN - Funeral services for Odell Scoby, 78, of Champaign will be at noon Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 808 E. Bradley, C. The Rev. Lundy Savage will officiate.

Entombment will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Champaign.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.

Leek and Sons Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Scoby died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 11, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Evelyn Smith

CHAMPAIGN - Evelyn Smith, 75, of Champaign died at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., C. Barbara VanBuskirk will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Visitation will be for one hour before the services Friday at the funeral home.

Marguerita Smith

DANVILLE - Marguerita Smith, 75, of Danville died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Sager campus, Danville.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Leek and Sons Funeral Home, Danville.

Clareta Walker

URBANA - Memorial services for Clareta Walker, 94, of Urbana will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McKinley Presbyterian Church, 809 S. Fifth St., C.

Owens Funeral Home, Champaign, is handling arrangements.

Miss Walker died at 2:23 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 10, 2001) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Robert Westfall

PEORIA - Robert Edward "Thumbs-Up" Westfall, 66, of Peoria, formerly of Danville, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 13, 2001) at Peoria.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Danville National cemetery. The Rev. Ericka Brown will officiate.

Pape Memorial Home and Gardens, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Willfong

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Robert Dale Willfong, 60, of Florida, formerly of Ogden, died Tuesday (Nov. 13, 2001) at the Veterans Administration Med-ical Center, Syracuse, N.Y.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Freese Funeral Home, St. Joseph.

Willie Wright

CHARLESTON - Willie G. Wright, 98, of Charleston died Tuesday (Nov. 13, 2001) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston. The Rev. Bill Boaz will officiate. Burial will be in Kickapoo cemetery, south of Charleston.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lee Adkins

GEORGETOWN - Lee W. Adkins, 81, of Georgetown died at 10:39 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.

Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 306 W. 14th St., Georgetown. The Rev. Tyson Parks Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Forrest Park cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday at Leek and Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St., Danville, and one hour before the service at the church with the family present.

Marlene Assell

CHAMPAIGN - Marlene Kathryn Assell, 65, of Champaign died at 5:09 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 17, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1305 Lincolnshire Drive, C. The Rev. Scott Engelbrecht will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet cemetery, Aurora.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., C, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

George Beam

URBANA - George Russel Beam, 81, of Urbana died at 12:35 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 17, 2001) at his daughter's home at Mount Pulaski.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. The Rev. James McClarey will officiate. Private burial will be at East Lawn cemetery, Urbana.

There will be no visitation.

Carl Bruns

PAXTON - Carl E. Bruns, 84, of Paxton died at 8:20 p.m. Friday (Nov. 16, 2001) at Ford County Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton. The Rev. James Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in Glen cemetery, Paxton, with military graveside rites.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
