DANVILLE – David Leroy Eberly, 61, of Danville died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 2001) at Danville Care Center, Danville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pape Memorial Home & Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. Pastor Gene Grubb will officiate. Burial will be at Danville National cemetery, with military rites by Danville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 728.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Wilkin Freeman

CHAMPAIGN – Wilkin E. Freeman, 89, of Champaign died at 9 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 21, 2001) at Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Systems, Danville.

Funeral services will be at noon Monday at Salem Baptist Church, 500 E. Park St., C, the Rev. Claude Shelby officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Champaign.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the church. Graveside military rites will be accorded by Champaign Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5520.

Heath and Vaughn Funeral Home, 201 N. Elm St., C., is handling arrangements.

Minnie Huser

TUSCOLA – Minnie Huser, 105, of Tuscola died at 5:10 a.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at the Tuscola Nightingale Manor Nursing Home, Tuscola.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola.

Marjorie Kinney

DANVILLE – Marjorie P. Kinney, 77, of Danville died at 9:10 a.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home, 101 Maiden Lane, Bismarck. Charles Fetters will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Corner cemetery, southeast of Bismarck.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Michael Long

URBANA – Funeral services for Michael W. Long, 49, of Urbana will be at 11 a.m. today at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. J. Kent Hickerson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Clinton.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Long died at 10:27 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 2001) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Jacob Morenz

SADORUS – Jacob G. F. Morenz, 87, of Sadorus died at 11:45 a.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sadorus, the Rev. Jack Miller officiating. Burial will be at Craw cemetery, Sadorus.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Freese Funeral Home, Tolono, is handling arrangements.

Edith A. Newman

RANTOUL – Funeral services for Edith A. Newman, 76, formerly of the Potomac-Rossville area and of Rantoul, will be Monday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Penfield, with the Rev. Bill Keebler officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence cemetery, Penfield.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Wolfe Funeral Home, 400 N. Vermilion St., Potomac, where a rosary service will be held Sunday evening.

Mrs. Newman died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 2001) at Manor Care Nursing Home, Champaign.

Marian Peifer

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Marian M. Peifer, 83, of Champaign, will be at 3 p.m. today at the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel, Champaign. Chaplain Glen Corbly officiating will officiate.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. today at the chapel. Mittendorf-Calvert Funeral Home, 2400 Galen Drive, C, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Peifer died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 21, 2001) at home.

Donald Rasner

CHAMPAIGN – Donald Rasner, 68, of Champaign died Friday morning (Nov. 23, 2001) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Owens Funeral Home, Champaign.

Teddy Sample

URBANA – Teddy G. Sample, 58, of 106 Dewey St., U., died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 21, 2001) at the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U. The Rev. Morris Christman will officiate. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Cameron Schrock Cody Schrock

ARCOLA – Cameron David Schrock and Cody Joseph Schrock, infant sons of David and Crystal Schrock of Mattoon, were stillborn Nov. 13, 2001, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield.

Private services will be today. - The Rev. Robert Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Arcola cemetery.

Edwards Funeral Home, Arcola, is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph Scott

SAVOY – Ralph Leslie Scott, 87, of Urbana died at 2:43 a.m. Oct. 31, 2001, at The Carle Arbours, Savoy.

No funeral services were conducted.

Janet Spohn

URBANA – Janet Loraine Spohn, 56, of 1205 E. Green St., U, died at 4:10 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A memorial service will be conducted later. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana, is handling arrangements.

Mary Tuggle

DANVILLE – Mary Elizabeth Bright Tuggle, 68, of Danville died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. Water St., Georgetown. Charles Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Georgetown cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Michael Weaver

PAXTON – Michael E. Weaver, 54, of Paxton died at 4:50 p.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at home.Arrangements were incomplete at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton.

Elsa Wienke

DANVILLE – Elsa Wienke, 61, of Danville died Wednesday (Nov. 21, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.

There will be no graveside service. Burial will be in Johnson cemetery, Danville.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Robert Mann will officiate.
