CHAMPAIGN – George Lee Pope, 83, of Champaign died at 1:21 p.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Melker-Bluitt-Parker Funeral Home, Champaign.

Donald Rasner

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Donald Rasner, 68, of Champaign will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., C. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Rasner died Friday morning (Nov. 23, 2001) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

John Suslavich

PAXTON – John J. Suslavich, 86, of Paxton died at 3:12 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at the Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton.

Arthur Trimble

DeLAND – Arthur E. Trimble, 80, of DeLand died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) at LeRoy Manor, LeRoy.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, 779 Old Route 47, Monticello. The Rev. Allan Oman will officiate. Burial will be in DeLand cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello.

Michael Weaver

PAXTON – Funeral services for Michael E. Weaver, 54, of Paxton will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ford-Baier Funeral Home, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton. The Rev. James Heramb will officiate.

Burial will be in Clifton cemetery, Clifton.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Weaver died at 4:50 p.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at home.

Bertha Beyers

TUSCOLA - Funeral services for Bertha E. "Dutch" Beyers, 83, of Tuscola, formerly of Arcola, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Pine Street, Arcola. The Rev. Joseph Allen will officiate.

Burial will be in Arcola cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home, Arcola, with a rosary service at 5:30 p.m.

Mrs. Beyers died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) at Douglas Nightingale Manor, Tuscola.

Mary Bovine

CHAMPAIGN - Mary Kathryn Griffith Bovine, 83, of Champaign died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at home.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana.

Earl Byard

ARCOLA - Earl Kenneth Byard, 85, of Arcola died at 12:07 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 E. Main St., Arcola. The Rev. Richard Chamberlain will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Masonic services at 7:45 p.m.

Victor Cisco

LINCOLN - Funeral services for Victor Lee Cisco, 45, of Lincoln will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. The Rev. J. Kent Hickerson will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Waynesville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Cisco died at 11:05 a.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

Frank Conner

HAMMOND - Funeral services for Frank Dean Conner, 73, of Hammond will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hammond United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Weedrich and the Rev. Clyde Masten will officiate.

Burial will be in Cartwright cemetery, rural Tuscola.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Conner died at 12:35 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.

Doris Doty

CHARLESTON - Doris Doty, 70, of rural Charleston died Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at home.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Adams Funeral Chapel, Charleston.

John Hibbard

CLINTON - John Hibbard, 73, of Clinton died at 6 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) at Kindred Hospital, Sycamore.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.

Madge Jakus

CHAMPAIGN - Madge Brady Jakus, 87, of Champaign died at 8:08 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at ManorCare Health Services, Champaign.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy, with the Rev. Anthony Trosley officiating. Private graveside services will be held Dec. 7 in Maine cemetery, Park Ridge.

There will be no visitation.

Charles Martin

ST. JOSEPH - Charles E. Martin, 73, of St. Joseph died at 10:36 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Graveside services will be at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in Ingram cemetery, White Heath. The Rev. Tom Anders will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Heath & Vaughn Funeral Home, 201 N. Elm St., C.

Corine Matthews

DECATUR - Graveside services for Corine Matthews, 84, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Glendale cemetery, Fillmore. The Rev. C. Don Ferrill will officiate.

There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Matthews died at 10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) at North Place Nursing Home, Decatur.

Francis McCoppin

IVESDALE - Funeral services for Francis Michael McCoppin, 49, of Ivesdale will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ivesdale. The Rev. Thomas Gibson will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Ivesdale.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Roux-Hinds Funeral Home, Bement, with prayer services at 4:45 p.m.

Mr. McCoppin died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) in Bement.
