Services for Muriel June Vanda (nee Sanford), 91, will be heldat 10 a.m. Thursday, at Elk Grove Baptist Church, 801 Beisner Rd., Elk Grove Village.
Born in Chicago, she died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998, at Manor Care Nursing Home. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery, River Grove.
A homemaker and retail clerk at GTE in Melrose Park, she was the wife of the late Earl J.; mother Joy V. (late William A., 1991) Castic and the late Bruce G.; sister of Harvey (late Joan), and the late Sidney, Robert and Chester Sanford; grandmother of William A. (Deborah) Castic, Laurel E. (Edward) Gisch and Jeffery E. (Dawn) Castic; and great-grandmother of Kenneth and Kimberly Gisch and William, Hannah and John Castic.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

Robert W. Vath, 59, of Westmont, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998. Arrangements were made by Toon Funeral Home, Westmont, (630) 968-2262.

Joseph E. Voras of Elk Grove Village
Prayers for Joseph E. Voras, 73, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at Queen of the Rosary Church.
Mr. Voras died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center.
Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Voras, a World War II veteran of the Navy, was the retired owner of Turner Florist of Chicago. He lived in Elk Grove Village for 30 years.
He was the husband of the late Angeline A. (nee Prino), who preceded him in death in 1992; father of Raymond R. (Kathleen) Voras and Judith A. (Richard) Mitchell; brother of Jeannette (Peter) Ruetten; and grandfather of Deana and Mark Mitchell.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral chapel.

Grace Laura Walker of Aurora
A memorial service for Grace Laura Walker, 95, formerly of Glen Ellyn and Bensenville, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, at Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement, Webster and Aurora Ave., Naperville.
Born Jan. 30, 1903, in Davis, Ill., she died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at the Countryside Care Centrein Aurora. Interment will be private.
She attended North Central College in Naperville. She worked as a physician's administrative assistant in downtown Chicago retiring in 1968.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Natalie) Kolze of Elroy, Wis.; daughters, Pauline (Jerry) Friedman of Ventura, Calif. and Mary Carhart of Montgomery, Ill.; sisters, Eve Andrews and Irene Roche both of Downers Grove; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Pauline (nee Bruns) Gronewold; husband, Reuben; and six brothers and sisters.
Arrangements were made by Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, Naperville.

Pamela G. Hargrave of Chicago
Services for Pamela G. Hargrave (nee Crenna), will begin at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, going to Our Lady of Ransom Church for 11 a.m. Mass. Interment will be in Maryhill cemetery, Niles.
She was the beloved wife of Frederick C. Hargrave; loving mother of Dolores (Timothy) Partridge, Frederick (Katherine) Hargrave Jr. and Donna Hargrave; dearest grandmother `Grammy' of Brittany and Matthew; dear daughter of Raymond J. and Doloris J. Crenna; loving sister of John (Kathleen) Crenna; fond aunt of Michael and Kelly; and good friend of many.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Todd Brease Morrisey Boyd formerly of Chicago

Mr. Boyd was born Dec. 10, 1959, in Chicago. Burial will be in Maryhill cemetery, Niles.
Todd was the beloved son of Mary Ann Kaszmarek (nee Morrisey) and the late Robert Morrisey both of Chicago; brother of Dale Morrisey of Des Plaines, Deborah Morrisey Buck of Mount Prospect, formerly of Indiana, and Larry Kaczmarek Jr. of Chicago; and uncleof Sean and Patrick Buck and Cheryl and Colleen Morrisey.

Toni M. Cook of Pell Lake, Wis.
A funeral Mass for Toni M. Cook (nee Aguiniga), 49, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Marcelline Church in Schaumburg.
Born March 11, 1949, in Elgin, she died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, in Burlington, Wis. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Garden West.
She was the beloved wife of Howard Cook Sr.; loving mother of Howard (Angela) Cook Jr., Robin (Michael) Krawczyk and Christine (David) Holmes; devoted grandmother of Adrian, Jamiae and Austin; and dear sister of Shirley, Rosemary, Narcissis, Barbara, Fredrick, Robert, Jim, Anthony, Richard, Alfred and Michael.

Born July 22, 1920, in Marion, Ind., she died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at home. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
A homemaker, Mrs. Alfredo enjoyed travel, luncheon and playing cards with her friends and was very active until her death.
She was the wife of the late William P.; mother of William P. Jr. of Iowa, Donna Lu (Robert) Wardanian of Arlington Heights, Deborah Chloe (Raymond) Giese of Arlington Heights and the late Merry Jo (Richard) Heiny; grandmother of Denise (Scott) Teasdale, Raquel Heiny, Anne and Katherine Alfredo, Daniel and Andrew Giese and the late Steven Heiny; great-grandmother of Richard Graham Teasdale; and sister of the late Charles and Victor Vickers.

Aubrey L. Burgess of Naperville
Services for Aubrey L. Burgess, 76, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, from Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, going to St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, for funeral services at 10 a.m.
Born April 28, 1922, in Washington, D. C., he died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at the Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville.
Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery, Naperville.
Mr. Burgess had retired from the Borg-Warner Corporation in 1984 and had begun his own patent law practice, finally retiring in 1995. He had served on the board of directors at Edward Hospital and had also served as a member of the Naperville Plan Commission. He enjoyed traveling and playing bridge.
Survivors include his son, John A. (Ann) Burgess of Streamwood; daughter, Margaret (Jay) Johnson of Naperville; grandchildren, Michael, Timothy and Christopher Burgess, and Meghan, Lauren and Allison Johnson; brother, Earle Burgess of Virginia; and sister, Jeanne (Ralph) Heitmuller of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet H. Burgess; and parents, James C. and Stella Burgess.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

A funeral Mass for Lauretta H. Burke (nee Hanson), 86, formerly of Skokie, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Lambert Catholic Church, 8148 N. Karlov, Skokie.
Born Oct. 17, 1912, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at home.
Burial will be in All Saints cemetery, Des Plaines.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Edmund J. M. D.; mother of Edmund Jr. (Jane) of California, Patrick C. of Chicago, Lauretta M. of Des Plaines and Mary (James) Siemsen of Skokie; and grandmother of Edmund III and Joseph Burke and Gregory and Laura Siemsen.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Haben Funeral Home, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Lincoln `Lee' V. DaPisa of Glen Ellyn
Services for Lincoln `Lee' V. DaPisa, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at First United Methodist Church, Glen Ellyn.
Rev. Dr. E. Doyle Blanton will officiate.
Born Feb. 12, 1921, in Chicago, he died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
A resident of Glen Ellyn since 1957, Mr. DaPisa retired as service manager of Addressograph Multigraph in Chicago. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and an active member of First United Methodist Church, serving in many of the church's organizations. He was also a volunteer with Global Volunteers and Habitat for Humanity.
Survivors include his children, Barbara (Peter) Thomases of St. Charles, Judith (James) Houser of Palatine and Robert (Teresa) DaPisa of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Jim, Tom, Allyson, Megan, Jason, Jessica and David; sister, Rae (Gene) Cicchetti of Forest Park; and special friend, Jo Losch of Palatine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Mae DaPisa.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.
